We visited on a holiday aka Mother's Day, and unfortunately the restaurant did not seem prepared whatsoever for the volume of customers regardless of a reservation. Our food took over an hour to come out, which was honestly surprising considering one of the meals was just a salad. The food itself was good, and our server was fine, but communication was lacking. We repeatedly had to ask for updates on our food and never really received any clear answers. I understand holidays are busy, but the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. Updating from 5 stars to 3. The service was great as always, but the Atlantic salmon, spinach, and mashed potatoes were WAY too salty. I couldn't even finish it. I'm very disappointed because it's been a great place up until this. The manager even told us I wasn't the only person who complained of the salt issue that evening. My son ordered a pizza without tomatoes, but when they brought it out the first time, it had tomatoes, so we had to sent it back. They remade it fresh. They went above and beyond to correct this, and even comped that off the bill. And because of my dinner, the manager gave us some free appetizer cards for a future visit. I'd love to give them back their 5 stars soon, because we love this place. It just wasn't a great visit for us. We'll be giving them another shot. read more

Knocking down a star for service this past weekend. Came here with my nephews and the hostess was going to seat us but someone came out and told us we couldn't be seated because of some plumbing issue so they weren't taking any more guests. Place was still pretty full but I guess we came too late. Not sure if they were taking togo orders, we weren't inform of anything else, wasn't offered anything for next time, no free 6 cards, or when they would reopen the restaurant. This was my first time dining at Towne Grill and I was impressed. The menu is fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. My server was attentive and answered all my questions regarding the menu. I love the aesthetic and layout of the restaurant. The weather was amazing so we chose this place for the patio seating! Recommendations from the server was what we decided to try. As a carb lover, I really liked the mashed potatoes, my husband said the cole slaw was also good. Towne Grill has a lavender martini that was worth trying, even if you aren't a vodka person. The only negative thing we experienced was the service trailed off drastically once we got our food. We waited quite awhile after finishing our meal for the server to finally come back over and check on us. Overall worth the visit but if you are in a time crunch, or like steady service, you may need to clarify the expectation when you are seated. read more

Towne grille I'll see you again for happy hour. Stopped in for 1/2 price martinis on Monday. This restaurant has nice decor and an upscale feel to it. So let's get down to good stuff... The Good: They have happy hour 3-6p monday-Friday Side of Fries only $3 during happy hour Burger was $6 Burger was ok, it was meat and cheese with a fancier bun. Bartender was cool. Bad: Menu has changed since last year and not for the better. Food is a little pricey The side of fries had old fries on the bottom and they were hard. I assume they gave us old ones because we were paying happy hour prices. Fruit flies hanging around like they own the place during the summer time. Overall, this is a good place to come for happy hour. They also have specials during the week, like 1/2 price tequila on Tuesday or 1/2 price martinis on Monday. Check their website for others. I recommend you go check it out. If you eat of the regular menu be prepared to spend some cash. read more

First time here! Took my friend out to eat for a galentines date. We made a reservation and were seated right away. The inside is very pretty and a good vibe. Lights are dimmed and it makes it feel romantic lol each booth has a light in the center. We ordered out drinks first and they were yummy! My friend ordered the baked chicken dinner and I had the fish and chips. Both were very delicious it was very fresh and hot. So tasty! 5 of us went to Towne Grill in the Alliance corridor. We were seated quickly. And waiter, Marissa, took excellent care of us. She allowed us an extra long time to unwind & converse over drinks without hurrying us at all. She was very pleasant & interesting to talk to as she gave us the names of other sister restaurants & elaborated on their specialties & their world- famous chefs. While each of us had different entrees we all raved about the appearances & flavors of each one. And the assistant manager, Michael, stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals & to see if we had any complaints. There were none, but it isn't often that restaurant managers come by & greet their customers. However, the highlight of our meals we agreed was dessert. Several of us had the Key Lime Pie which was excellent & enough for 2 to share. But the winner of the dessert competition was the Butter Cookie-Cake which wasn't even on the menu but was so yummy all of us had rather large bites & said we'd come back just for that dessert alone. Thank you, Marissa, for suggesting we try it--but it's puzzling why it's not on the menu. Before we left the restaurant Manager, Stephanie, came by to introduce herself & hear our feedback. THAT very rarely happens & demonstrates a concerted attention to customer satisfaction. All in all, the Towne Grill provided a delicious meal & excellent service. 10/10 - Everything was excellent! Town Grille absolutely blew us away. I ordered the spaghetti and meatball, and it was hands-down one of the best I've ever had -- the meatball was tender, the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. But what really stood out was the extra mile they went for my husband. He wanted a specific sauce that wasn't even on the menu, and they made it from scratch just for him. Who does that anymore?! Everything was clearly freshly prepared by a seasoned chef, and the service was excellent. This kind of hospitality is rare. We'll definitely be back -- and bringing friends! Stopped in on a Tuesday night based on the recommendation from a friend that they were dog friendly. Here is what we liked: * It is indeed dog friendly. Actually think all the staff came out to check on the pup. * Happy hour from 3-6 and the margarita was tasty. * Spinach dip was good with light chips. * Got the smash burger and it was quite tasty, that bacon on there could be a side dish all on its own. *The chicken bites were delicious. As a patron who has been coming here at least weekly for years it is sad what has happened to this restaurant especially considering how amazing the other FarOut Hospitality restaurants are. Ordered take out for a celebratory dinner and was so happy we did. Salmon was crispy, smoky, and cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes are a blessing with a perfectly smooth blend and seasoning left me without needing to add any of my own. We also had the chicken parm and man that sauce is just what it should be and so many restaurants aren't - from scratch with quality ingredients. First time in... Just had a really nice dinner here, we really enjoyed the Salmon and the New York Strip. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the portions were generous for a fair price. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. It does seem as though they took a lot of ideas from another small restaurant chain, but we like that. Service was very good and attentive, although I would describe our server as a bit "awkward". He was young and probably new, but we really appreciated his effort. I decided to give town grill another shot, looks like they turned the corner on service. The waiter was super attentive at the front door. Everyone greeted me and I was promptly seated at my table. The drinks were amazing. I haven't had a better Moscow Mule in years. I love their trout. It was super moist and flavorful. I have mine edited to add mashed potatoes because I really like those again super flavorful.. the winner of the night is dessert you have to ask for their secret menu because they have desserts that aren't listed that are probably better than the ones that are listed. I would go for the brown sugar butter cake. It is listed, but it was probably 10 times better than everything else especially with the ice cream on top.. This isn't to say the Keylime pie is bad. It just wasn't as good as the brown sugar cake that wasn't listed on the menu all in all damn good night, especially with TV in the bar. read more

This location used to be Hooligans before it sadly closed many years ago. Tried this new place and inside looks like what I remember it and the bar which sat at. The selections for food have a nice variety without going overboard and not too small like the former restaurant. Every time I come to the area, I somehow end up at the Towne Grill. The food is great; the drinks are too. They have great HH specials (although I would love to see them add something a little healthier too). This time I had deviled eggs (A++), shared the cornbread, and balanced it with a salad (I always order the same one ... it's my fav for a reason!). All in all- I've been with girlfriends for an evening of gab and also been there with coworkers. Gorgeous, modern, sleek Town Grill is perfectly curated inside and out. I started with the Armenta's margarita and it is a fresh margarita that anyone would enjoy. At $10 the price point for bar items seemed fair. We skipped an extensive appetizer and had side house salads, usually dull food items, but not when you add Bacon Vinaigrette! The dressing is superb. For main meals, I took a specialty item of the Short Rib at $28, the meat was tender and moist, but the sauce on top was terrible. Way too much of whatever mustard-like combo it was; I scraped it off best I could and ate the meat. I recommended the staff check the sauce, as I doubt that was an intended flavor. I wasn't expecting anything else out of that conversation. Still, the manager came by promptly to investigate further, and I imagine the sauce was rectified, or it is a putrid sauce that my table agreed was yucky. The New York strip was another perfectly cooked meat entree and we left satiated. Service is terrific, the seating is comfortable, the plating is pretty, and almost everything is delicious. Recommend employee/manager training when a customer doesn't like something. I'm a more accessible customer in that I don't send food back and always pay my bill, but I want any establishment to fix issues for the next time. When a manager responds to a customer's request to QC something, and the response is "What's wrong with it?" that is accusatory or argumentative when the answer doesn't matter. If a person doesn't like it- they don't, and a "thank you for letting me know, I will look into it right away "would have sufficed. Not my everyday restaurant but certainly a good dining option when you want something special. read more

Literally so good every time we come. We love going downtown but when this place is 15 minutes from home it's tough to justify the extra drive. Steak salad and chicken salad (not correct names) are amazing .. everything tastes like it's from scratch.. the margarita is top notch fresh and I've had a hard time finding a better one. seriously. Have never had a bad server. This place better never go out of business... also you cannot pass up the butter cake when it's on special! read more

Hands down the best dinner I've had in YEARS!!!! The restaurant atmosphere gives tons of fine dining vibes but with a casual feel to it. Our server was quick, friendly and had great recommendations. When I say the service is top notch here I mean it. Management seemed to really be on top of things and we literally couldn't finish half our drinks without a refill. The food....Oh My Goodness....so so good! We started with the deviled eggs and they were delicious. I ordered the grilled meatloaf which was recommended by our server as well as several friends and my husband had a burger. I had no idea meatloaf could be elevated to this level but it was seriously the best meatloaf I've ever had. Service from MacKenzie was flawless, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing and the food was very special. I had the grilled meatloaf and this was 10/10.
