Went next door to see if maybe we were at the wrong location. This guy came out and opened the doors for us. It was really nice inside. We asked for price and they told us because we were a group of 5 it would be $560 with "unlimited beer". i've never heard of a karaoke bar that charged a minimum of $500 because we were a small group. At that point I think it was because they wanted us to either pay or leave. Why even unlock the doors in the first place.

It looks nice on the outside, but the second you walk in, they try to shake you down and rob you blind. We wanted to rent a karaoke room for 2 hours. Some sketchy dude working there tried to claim it was $500 for 2 hours. His justification? It comes with "unlimited beer." Are you out of your mind?! Unless we are hosting a 20-person frat party, nobody is drinking $500 worth of beer in two hours. He was straight-up trying to charge us DOUBLE the actual rate and pocket the cash. The biggest red flag? HE REFUSED TO SHOW US THE ACTUAL PRICE MENU. Kept hiding it and making up numbers on the spot because he knew he was pulling a fast one. Total shady, predatory behavior. If your prices are legit, why are you hiding the menu like a thief? They size you up at the door and try to hustle you. We walked out, and you should too. This place is run by literal scammers. Stay far, far away. 0/5 STARS.

The lady who assisted me was able to do so and it took only minutes! The day of our session, the guy who welcomed us in was amazing. He was very kind to us. We did not try the food however we did get drinks. The drinks were VERY strong but good. Liquid courage was definitely needed for karaoke! In and outside of the building was very clean. And so was the room. You could tell there had been cleaning down earlier as you can lightly smell the cleaning supplies. We will be back! Thank you for giving us such a great time!

The hot dogs are great, but they were out of onions. They offer nachos with corn -- also out of corn. As for the bartenders/servers: They were nice enough; they're not reliably stationed at the bar, and even when I went looking, I came up empty, which took away from our limited time in the room. Then there's the 18% service fee, which appears nowhere on their website -- not on the pricing page, not in a search. Maybe I missed it, but it's buried deeply if it's stated. This is on top of the $65/hour rate, which requires a two-hour minimum Monday through Wednesday. Is the fee a tip? A staffing surcharge? Nobody explained it. I tipped 20% on top of it anyway, and I regret that. Maybe the tenders pocket the 18% -- I genuinely don't know. The prices were outrageous! Can't bring in outside wine with a corkage fee. Ok, I get that. Why? Because you can only buy wine by the bottle. $65 for a bottle of Prosecco. Want a gin and tonic? Sure, but no tonic. Drinks had a spare pour. Conversely, it's one of the few karaoke bars in the area. The birthday girl had a great time, and that's really all that mattered in the moment.

The waitress asked if we wanted water or tea. Paper menus were provided. One was written all over so I think they should have probably thrown it away. The menu items are separated into different categories so if you are looking for a noodle, poultry, seafood or specific dish you can easily scan the menu. We opted for a little variety and ordered sweet & sour pork, cod fillet in black bean sauce, seafood fried udon and side orders of rice. The food arrived promptly. The sweet & sour pork and side rice was served first. This is a tried and true dish. Plenty of bell peppers and onions to accompany the pork. The flavors were great. The other two dishes arrived together. I always order the cod fillet in black bean sauce. It is always a stable for my order. The cod is cooked nicely and is a nice change from a fried protein item. The sauce is good with the rice and the veggies are cooked nicely but maintain a slight crunch. This was my first time trying the seafood fried udon. It was an interesting concept. I did enjoy the seafood (shrimp, cod, and squid). The noodles were a nice change from traditional egg noodles (chow mein or chow fun). I would probably stick with traditional noodle dishes. It was a little too different for my liking. Parking can be difficult during dinner hours.

I was excited to find a Hong Kong-style restaurant that also has KTV! The KTV rates are reasonable, starting at $24/hour. Recommended: * House Soy Sauce Chicken - tender and flavorful. * Shrimp Fried Rice - huge portion with lots of large shrimp. * Roasted Duck - crispy skin with rich, flavorful fat. Service: Fast and polite. Unfortunately, halfway through our meal, we found a hair on the roasted duck. The server immediately apologized and removed the dish from our bill, which we appreciated. While the restaurant handled the situation professionally, I hope they improve their food quality control to prevent this from happening again.

First of all, the food served is exactly like the photos. I got the short rib bun burger and bulgogi gyoza. The burger (omg) had a balance of sweet and salty but also a little spicy. Halfway through I noticed something yellow, it was a pineapple! Usually I have mixed feelings about pineapple with foods like pizza. But this complimented so well. Now, the gyoza. Crispy and you can't go wrong with bulgogi. What I was surprised with was inside I think it was japchae! If you like Korean food like me, I was so excited to see this twist. And yes it was yummy. I seem to get lucky most times and get to meet the owners. That day I met them and they're so nice! I can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu, ingredients, decor, etc. The owners are Japanese and Korean. Hence KoJa! Even this detail was really impressive. I ended up going back because the owner told me that his wife (also owner) created Yang Nyum and it was really good and popular. So I got Yang Nyum, kamikaze fries, and taro boba. The portions were great. But most of all, he was right about Yang Nyum, delicious! I didn't realize the kamikaze fries had beef, so yummy but I definitely overate that day, lol. One other thing I really liked was you could order at the register or kiosk. This is a great way to avoid lines. Once you order they have a screen that shows your ETA (why do other restaurants not have this?). I did go during the day though. So, I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night. Especially after dancing or bar hopping, the food here would pair well. Koja also sells alcohol too though and apparently downstairs is where the dancing is at. Will I go here again, absolutely.

Love the coconut rice, The pork was so delicious and the fried wonton in the middle was a crafty decision and adds a little crunch when bitting into it. Best way to eat it is to pick it up and bite into it like you would a burger to get the full effect. They do give you plastic utensils for it, but I didn't use them. 5 Overall: 4 Definitely will go back to try more items on the menu!

There's a bar area to order drinks and food, and there's a good large selection. There's private karaoke rooms but also a public karaoke area by the bar. The karaoke system here uses Youtube. So using your own phone, you can look up any song that's on Youtube, sync it up with the TV, and sing along to it. Some people might not like this because you could've done this at home or anywhere. The main thing is just having the mic system and a private room here. I personally don't mind this because it gives me more choices and queuing up the songs is easier and faster. And I don't like having to flip through giant books of older outdated music and then putting in a code of the song to queue it up. The prices are decent, especially when there's a deal and if you have a big party to split the cost with.

The reservation process was super easy. All I had to do was call them up to see if they were available on my desired day and then come in to pay a $50 deposit that also goes towards the total at the end. The guy on the phone who is also the guy usually working the register was super helpful and nice. He answered all my questions about the pricing, room size, additional hours and food, was transparent about the 18% gratuity, and even let me take a quick peak of the VIP Room when I went to pay the deposit. The rest of the staff was also very quick during the actual day we were there. They set us up with our food and drinks pretty quickly and basically didn't bother us for the rest of the night. Since I had a party of 13 people, I got the VIP Room package which was super nice, clean and could've comfortably fit more than 13 people. It also comes with a private bathroom that was also really well kept and clean too. Anyone in your party can freely come in and out of the room, and there's no need for everyone to be present before you can go into the room. Queuing music is done through YouTube but you can also use their own karaoke machine with its preset songs. The only downside I have to say about this place is the food. It's not bad and it's nice how it comes with the room, but the quality itself is nothing crazy. It's enough to feed some of the people in your group if they're pecking, but if you plan to spend a long night here I recommend getting food elsewhere before coming in. Overall though, I highly recommend checking this place out for your next karaoke session.

Yes, I go to a lot of dueling piano shows. The Silver Lining has been on my list for a while, so I'm glad I finally got to experience it. Reserved seating in advance, at the bar which costs a little less than the main area, but is just as fun and engaging if you come for the live music. It's a small spot, so the sound fills the room no matter where you sit. The dueling piano show ends between 10:30-11:00pm. I enjoyed it while it lasted. The song request list included Pink Pony Club, Bennie And The Jets, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Sweet Caroline, Gangster's Paradise, I Love Rock n Roll, It's All Coming Back To Me Now, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, My Girl, Piano Man, Come and Get Your Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Elton John's Your Song, Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero, and a mash up of Brown Eyed Girl and Summer of 69. (I swear I didn't name the entire song list for the night, lol) The musicians were playful but didn't butcher songs to the point of being distasteful... yes some dueling pianists do this at other venues. And their music added to an already inviting setting featuring dim lighting and cool wall art. The drinks of course added to my experience as well. For cocktails, I had the Hell of a Caucasian, Jackie (which was pretty much a chocolate martini) and the 1982 Mojito. The drinks were made well, both in terms of flavor and alcohol content. The bartenders were friendly and attentive and provided excellent service. It's a coincidence I wore a dress, cuz most ladies were wearing dresses on this night. It's a casual spot, I guess it's just the warm weather. A great spot for a fun night out regardless. Thank you, Silver Lining, for a good time.
