Visited here during mothers day weekend and it was a great time. Waited for over an hour but it was expected. I put us on the wait list and received a text when the table was ready. Food was DELICIOUS- hot and fresh. The tables aren't too close to each other which allows for standing/moving around. Parking can be tricky if you don't arrive early; we had to park at the Lowe's parking lot and walk a little. Over all 10/10, I will be returning to eat more yummy French toast! read more

Our Place seems to be a local favorite. I've eaten there twice, when visiting family in the area - they love it, but I found the service mediocre and the prices high. Portion size varied wildly and didn't follow price. Pretty good place. Very busy in the weekends and they don't take reservations for some reason that I can't understand. So if coming in the weekend be prepared to wait. No espresso drinks just basic drip coffee and no alcohol not even for brunch on the weekend which is a let down. Food is good though with a big menu and can do curbside when don't want to dine in. Waiter messed up almost our entire tables orders due to not reading the new menu. But she was apologetic and was able to rectify it quickly and we got to keep the extra food and we weren't charged for it. Will for sure come back hoping for a better experience but certainly not bad If there was espresso drinks, a bar or at least mimosas, and took reservations on the weekend, then it would be perfect. The servers are always on top of it, kind and keep the coffee coming. I am unsure if they are spacing people apart for dining. But the servers and hosts are all wearing masks . Our food was on point per usual. I ordered the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and a side of okra. The husband ordered sirloin steak and scrambled eggs and cakes. My husband and I go to Our Place every Sunday morning. The food is delicious. The waitress and staff are very friendly and efficient. She remembers us and asks if we want our "usual". The owner/manager is very focused on making sure the customers are happy and is a charming conversationalist. I've had Our Place bookmarked for quite some time now. I'm glad I tried it. For starters the restaurant is a pretty decent size. We waited for aboit 40-45minutes before we were seated which wasn't bad because they have benches outside to sit. It actually reminds me of Cracker Barrel . Anywho, we were seated in a nice area of the restaurant by one server. Two other waiters decided to wait on us which was nice. After awhile we were helped by I my one waitress who was veeery young and veeery slow. I had 2 biscuits and gravy without sausage (they left the sausage in ) and my spouse had a 2 egg platter with pancakes and my family have the chicken fried steak. I'm the first to say that everything looks like it's made from scratch; which I loved. My biscuits were tasty. The pancakes looks delicious and I heard they were. My brother said the chicken friend steak with mash and okra was amazeballs. Although the meal filled out stomach I expected a lot more flavor since the restaurant is so popular in Tarrant county. The service wasn't the best either, but overall I think this restaurant deserves 3 stars. I'd recommended someone here if they wanted a decent breakfast/brunch for the low for sure. I'm still go contemplating if I want to go back though. I might one of these days but for now I'll try other restaurants before u make my way back to Our Place. read more

Got fingerprinted for school again (annual requirement for FBI background check), and decided to stop somewhere for breakfast. I used my Yelp app and found this place ... I love it. The breakfast was so good (way too much food!) And everyone was so nice and welcoming! From Ryan, the greeter, to Lupe, my server, to the manager stopping by to ask if everything was okay and asked if I needed anything! Win!! P.S. Been in the state/area a few short months but this is definitely my favorite spot for feel good home cooking breakfast and or lunch have yet to do dinner here only because it closes early. But I love everything about it. Even on the most busiest morning the wait is never a drag. Staff from host to servers to cashiers are super friendly. Never see the bottom of my glass or coffee mug servers are on it. Even if it's not their table. Their soups are a cup of comfort and their rolls are carbs in a cloud. My usual for breakfast hands down the Texas flag waffle. No syrup needed delicious as is. Don't ever be discouraged by the filled up parking lot. Short wait and if it's long definitely worth it!!!!
