The best breakfast I've ever had. Service is awesome and friendly...foods great and there's plenty of it...it is our go to breakfast spot

I wanted to like this place. My soon to be son-in-law talked about it all the way here. Service was interesting, pretty good, but one of the places where it is so popular and the waitresses think that everyone coming knows how great it is. Well I still have to be shown how great it is, maybe next trip. They brought complimentary bread and soup out, but delivered by someone else and we are like, "no we didn't order that". Our waitress leans over from another table to say, they just don't know that it is complimentary. No, we don't if you don't tell us :) Those items were good, but we are on a diet and really didn't want them. I ordered blackened Tuna and it was not cooked as ordered and had absolutely no flavor and for sure no blacken seasoning. Everyone else seem to like their meal, My wife ordered a Mediterranean Salad and asked her what dressing she wanted, she said well, do you have a Mediterranean type of dressing, they said, no, just raspberry vinaigrette, balsamic and the standard. I mean how can you have a Mediterranean Salad without the thought that it is an important part of the salad. I am looking forward to coming back and trying different items. read more

This is definitely our place!!! You can tell it's a staple in the community and it's well deserved. It's our favorite go to on the weekends and we always enjoy our dishes. Everything here is good!!! E-ve-ry-thing here is good! The servers are very friendly. You fell like your in a small town cafe where everyone knows your name and your people (even though they don't). It just gives family vibes. Get there earlier than your stomach though bc there will be a wait. Only bc that many ppl want grandmas cornbread muffins the same as you do. They have installed a little putt putt area to play on while you wait. Don't worry though. The wait is always worth it and never unbearable. read more

This is such a comfort food place. The first impression walking in is that its cozy and feels like what home should feel like. The next is the homemade food! Its tasty and has good flavor. We ordered french toast, a breakfast burrito and the egg whites and chicken with fruit. The fruit was squishy so I didn't really eat it as it contained blue berries and grapes. The rest was yummy and our favorite was the orange juice that taste freshly squeezed. Recommend to try it! read more

First time there and I don't know WHY we waited so long to try this place! Husband had the chicken fried steak omelette, I had the southwest biscuits and our son had the Mini Mouse with perfectly cooked bacon. My husband, who is extremely picky about breakfast joints, loved it! All three of us left happy and super full! Service was so good, considering how busy it was! We will definitely be back! Oh My! Oh My! If you're looking for a family owned brunch/lunch restaurant this is the place.... taking about some home cooking that won't break your wallet. Their menu is massive and portion sizes is pretty big as well. I ordered the chicken dumpling which came with their soup of the day and two sides. The chicken is shredded and the dumpling is a little bit too mushy. Chicken tortilla soup was their soup of the day which I find a bit too salty. Their corn nuggets was delicious and of course the fried okras as. But on another visit I had their meatloaf... loved it!!! The meatloaf was really moist and flavorful. Keep in mind it's not served everyday! ***Complimentary rolls & cornbread with their sweet butter*** Of course their staffs is super friendly and service is excellent... My wife and I went on a Thursday morning to Our Place around 9am. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and seated. There were lots of people there, but still room for additional guests. The wait staff was great and making sure we were well taken care of. They had great creamer flavors for coffee that my wife especially enjoyed. The food was excellent and their home fries were amazing! We ended paying close to $35, but it was worth it. We are coming again soon! read more

This place was pretty good. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. They have backed goods in the front and the restrooms are very clean. It's pretty packed for a weekday but based on reviews this seems to be the norm. I had the Texas waffle with ham and a side of bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was a little on the crispier side. I do like my bacon crisp but this was borderline over done/ If I am ever in the area I would probably be back/ the atmosphere was very pleasant and the food overall was pretty good. They accept all credit cards which is always a plus for me. read more

Have lived in Mansfield 5 years and this is a go to place for homestyle delicious breakfast or lunch. Sooo good. My two favorites are the chicken fried steak breakfast or the huevos rancheros. Any family that comes to town I take them here for a yummy brunch. One time I will say my sister said her mashed potatoes tasted funny like soap? Idk what happened that time but they happily replaced it. That's been the only instance where something was off. Otherwise I absolutely love this place and the confirming vibes it gives when your there. Almost like a grandmother's country kitchen or something. Absolutely love their food too! Only thing that sucks is they close at 3! So you gotta get there! Lol and they are literally always packed! But no wonder they're delicious. Lol read more

We went on Mother's Day 2024 and it was CROWDED! But they have a great system to let you know when your table is ready. The wait was long, but it was worth it. It was our first time here (family of 4) and the food was fantastic. The best chicken fried steak that I've had in over a decade! Crunchy, delicious crust. Juicy cut of meat. Just outstanding. The kids really enjoyed their meals as well. My wife said the food was great too. The service was FAST! The server was attentive - despite the crowd - and we all had a great time. It's a shame more restaurants don't take care of their patrons like Our Place Restaurant does! Friendly staff. Great food. The prices were right in line with the current rates. Excellent place to dine! Especially for breakfast. I have had items from their lunch menu, and they are good, however, I prefer their breakfasts. They have a large selection of items which is a very big plus. I have never had to send an order back for correction. The waitresses are always very nice iPad and many of them are also quite cheerful as well. This is a welcome greeting when you're dining early in the morning. read more

This is mine and my husbands favorite place to grab a late breakfast/lunch. We always get awesome service and the best food. The chicken friend steak is my favorite. It is very well seasoned and the breading isn't super thick like other restaurants and the mashed potatoes are real potatoes not instant which I appreciate a lot. The breakfast is so good too in fact it's my husbands favorite. The pancakes are so big and fluffy and delicious. I see this place becoming a weekly tradition for us for years to come. read more

Food is definitely picture perfect! I ordered the jalapeño scrambler. It was very good! It was covered in cheese and loaded with jalapeño sausage and cornbread. The butter for the cornbread was so good! Sweet and whipped. The cornbread itself was very unique and nothing like I've had before. It was cheesy and had jalapeños inside. The homemade potato chips were pretty average. They tasted like.. well potato chips. We also got the works omelet which was huge and it came with a huge hash brown. The omelet was mediocre, felt like I could've made one at the house. The hash browns were not very good. Some parts were super crispy where others needed to be cooked longer. The waitress was not the best. She never came back for refills while we had our meals and she forgot a chocolate milk all together. Overall, I would try this place again and recommend it. There is a large menu selection and they even offer mini meals if you can't eat an entire portion. Next time I'd like to try their lunch. They have specials every week, which I'll be trying next time! As far as covid goes the tables were somewhat socially distanced. However the waitress wasn't wearing their mask correctly. The syrup was also sticky when they gave it to us, so I'm assuming poor sanitation after each guest. read more

Hate to give a bad review because the service was amazing and everyone was so nice - From the host, to waitresses, to the counter staff. The prices were good as well. But this is based solely on food alone. These were the worst grits I've ever had in my life, and the hardest and blandest tasting French toast ever. My daughter had the pancakes, and those were pretty good. The bacon was pretty perfect, well just the way I like it at least. I don't think I would return. Solid suburban restaurant. PLENTY of parking ... I have the feeling this place gets real crowded at times, and some of my fellow Yelper friends confirm it can be packed with quite a wait on the weekends for breakfast. Family oriented food with super complete breakfast and brunch menu. I had a tuna salad sandwich that was A-Ok, served on a marbled rye (which I love). The tuna salad had kinda a sweet flavor, likely from some fruit (grapes maybe?), and the mayo had some seasoning in it that I didn't care for, but just my opinion. They were not skimpy with the tuna salad. The sandwich was thick. I upgraded the side from fires or chips to sweet potato fries. They were waffle cut and GOOD. My lunch companion went with breakfast and a "breakfast burrito". She said it was great and was so big she had to take half home with her. The vice is hopping here, great mix of couples and families with kids. Right now there is a ton of street construction that makes getting in and out of here hard. Be patient. read more

We are from out of town and ate at Our Place for breakfast based upon the reviews. The atmosphere and dining room setup is great!! Super cute place with outstanding service! We had a little of everything for breakfast and it was all delicious! I'd recommend asking for your bacon well done if you like it crispy and for your scrambled eggs well done if you don't like them soft to runny in spots.
