Complete Bridgerton explosion and I love it!…read more Little Hen is the perfect girl brunch/breakfast spot. The decor and ambiance is that of an exquisite tea party. They also have a lovely decorated patio for outdoor brunching on cooler days. Reservations are highly recommended on weekends as the restaurant does tend to fill up. We munched on the smoked salmon bagel and divorced eggs. Both were delicious. The drinks were perfectly made as well. I was a huge fan of the lavender tea latte. Light and creamy, topped with dried lavender buds for fragrance. With each sip, the fragrance filled my nostrils making my drink that much more enjoyable. Our smiling waitress recommended the Rose Petal Dream cocktail for "dessert". I absolutely love wait staff who senses the vibe and goes with it..lol. Of course it was delicious, garnished with a real rose petal. Presentation here was 10/10 with zero complaints. Bathrooms were clean with a fresh sent. The decor in there was also very pretty. Perfect for that bathroom selfie :-). There is ample free parking in front and around the restaurant. Little Hen Will see me again!

This was our 3rd time at the little hen and sadly it's wasn't as good as our past visits…read more The service was good and the young lady taking care of us was very nice. The restaurant has always had a nice atmosphere and is very pretty inside. Unfortunately this time the food was lacking. I had the Cuban bagel sandwich and my wife had the ham and egg omelette. It's was not a matter of the portion size and there was plenty of food. Something about the flavor was just off it was almost tasteless for both of us. The other thing I was bothered by was that they brought water to the table. Unbeknownst to use they put a charge on the check for the water. I'm not being petty, it was only $2.00 but it was not bottled or fancy water. When I ask what the charge was for, they immediately took it off the check. Are we at this point not. Cold water is a now being charged when they just bring it to your table. It comes down more to greedy owners.

We waited about 10 mins to be seated. Priscilla took good care of us. She was ready with the recommendations. We ordered the chicken and red chili chilaquiles, gravy and biscuits and the supreme omelet. This was exactly what we needed. Fresh, yummy and well portioned, we had our fill. My margarita was made perfectly and went well with my chilaquiles. Service was fast! We waited maybe 15 mins for our food. The only downside to this restaurant in my opinion, are the coed bathrooms. Not a big fan of these. Since there were only two for the entire restaurant, cleaning periodically is recommended. Other than that, food was delicious!

There were no clean forks or knives available so we were given plastic utensils in a bag. We weren't given cloth napkins either. Maybe they were dirty too? No apology was offered. No clean forks were brought when available. Instead, the wait staff disappeared until it was time to bring the check. Then our waitress lingered at our table chatting us up while her tip was being written down. On to the food. The salmon on my eggs benedict was just awful. I struggled to cut through the english muffin with the one metal knife I did have. The pancakes were rubbery. My husband's food was cold. The lettuce was brown. It couldn't have been worse. This was my first and last time at one of these establishments.

I have always passed by this spot and never stopped in but finally got to on a Monday morning when trying to decide where to eat. It wasn't crowded but did have a good amount of people eating. We were seated pretty promptly and the space was clean. I ordered a skillet with ham (it cost extra to add a protein) and my partner got the 2x2x2 which comes with 2 pancakes, two sausages, and two eggs cooked any style you'd like. The server asked him if he wanted whipped cream and he said yes without knowing it would be an extra charge. He also got chocolate chips which cost a bit extra. Definitely don't opt for the whipped cream unless you really want it because I feel like over $2 for that dollop of whipped cream is kinda crazy. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience and the food was really good. They are a classic spot for breakfast and had a pretty extensive menu.

The staff were nice and welcoming but I think they were a bit overwhelmed because we had to ask for condiments and for some items that we ordered a few times before they finally got to bring it over. I was also sad because I had been looking forward to their peanut butter chip AND chocolate chip pancakes, because they used to be the only restaurant i knew of that used peanut butter chips, but it seems they removed that item from their kitchen all together. BUMMER! Otherwise, the food was fine and it's a good option for breakfast food in this area.

The beet multivitamin juice was especially impressive, amazing taste and only $8. The French toast was excellent as well. Overall, our group left very happy with this place. Super disappointed with this place…read more Pros: The potatoes and eggs were good & the hot sauce has great flavor! Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.
