Unfortunately, my earlier interactions with the previous service team were filled with miscommunication, repeated appointments, and a lot of back-and-forth that left me feeling discouraged and ready to walk away--not just from the dealership, but from Kia altogether. However, just as I was about to leave for good, Tommy and Michaela stepped in. They took the time to truly listen, carefully reviewed all of my documentation, and most importantly, took ownership of the situation. Within hours, they had a clear plan in place, addressed the issues with my vehicle, and ensured that prior concerns and expenses were handled promptly and professionally. I genuinely love my van, and while the earlier experience was disappointing, Tommy and Michaela completely restored my confidence. Typical dealership behavior... They promise they can get you to exactly what you need...but they start out at $176 over what you need your monthly payment to be..... Then they get it down to $76 over... And then when you leave the building, the finance manager runs after you and says "oh hey, I got you 15 higher than what you wanted. Come in let's talk!" No. You had a chance, in fact, you had two chances. My salesman walked over to you twice and was probably pretty clear with what my requirements were. But no, you wanted to play the game and you lost. You are exactly what people hate about car dealers. You're underhanded and sneaky, and you try to take advantage of people. I scheduled a 8:00 am service appointment so I could get to work afterwards. When I showed up, there was no one in the vicinity until exactly 8:00, at which time a young service agent pulled a key from under a flower pot and opened the door. She told me they had lost power the day before and left everyone phone messages. I had not received a message, but I did get a text confirming the appointment. 1-Star Review - Beware of Bait-and-Switch Tactics I had one of the worst dealership experiences of my life at Ourisman Kia of Fairfax. Before driving over, I was given a clear out-the-door price on the phone. When I arrived, that price suddenly changed--by a lot. When I calmly questioned the discrepancy, the salesperson actually raised his voice at me and said, "Are you calling me a liar?" Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. What makes it worse is that multiple other dealerships warned me ahead of time that Ourisman Kia of Fairfax is known for this exact bait-and-switch tactic. I should have listened. If you value honest communication, transparency, or basic customer respect, save yourself the time and frustration and go somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to Kia because the hydraulic support on my trunk broke due to a factory defect. They told me they would order the part and call me in two weeks--no one ever called. Three weeks later I had to go there myself just to find out the part had already arrived. When I finally took my car in, I wasted the entire morning waiting, only to be told hours later that they couldn't fix it because a "body shop" had to remove the bolt first. This is something they should have told me from the very beginning. On top of that, the service advisor, Rochelle, was rude, cynical, and completely unhelpful when I asked for clarification. As a rideshare driver, I pay nearly $400 a week to rent this car, and having a broken trunk hurts my work. Kia's lack of professionalism cost me time, money, and months of frustration. To make things worse, during my first visit I asked if using the trunk manually would cause more damage while waiting for the repair. Their employee assured me it would not. Now, the trunk doesn't even open manually anymore, proving they gave me wrong information and left me with an even bigger problem. Terrible service. read more

I bought a 25KIA Sportage last year and handed over 40K+ cash, I was treated wonderfully. ONE YEAR later, I went in for my second oil change and they charged me close to $500. They failed to live up to their warranty. I bought the interior exterior warranty program. It was sold to me as an annual car detail with some internal external protectant and would fix all small dings and material rips in the interior. I went to the dealer and pointed out a small nick and my service rep said, no they just spray the car with stuff. It was returned to me with ding of course but also a bird poop stain. Trunk and coin holding areas remained unvacuumed . I was told I could bring it back to the Toyota dealership that did it. The more I complained the more I was told "it's all good". They were dismissive of me and my needs. Finally the manager came out and gaslit me, saying he would have me removed from the private property. He begrudgingly took the car and buffed the stain out, which took all of 5 minutes. I am 65 years old and 5 feet tall, I posed no threat. Additionally, I waited for the complimentary Uber ride for 1 hour at FairOaks Mall, watching three drivers turn around?? When the fourth one came, I got in and said I've been waiting for 45 min. He turned around and yelled and said that's not my fault. He started to head east on 50 and I knew the dealership was west. I asked where we were going? If he had calmly said I'm heading to 66 west and down 28 I would have been fine but he kicked me out of the car and I had to wait another min or two for my 5th Uber driver. No one at KIA cared about my ordeal and again I was told," it's all ok." read more

I'm giving two stars because the gentlemen working last night at the service desk were polite and fixed the problem despite being left high and dry by the company (what kind of manager leaves at 5pm when the business is open until 7pm?). 1) Ourisman recently decided to discontinue oil changes for life. You want to do that, fine, but have the decency to tell your customers. I would have never bothered with the 40+ min (one way) drive and subsequent headache. 2) Rochelle tried to pull as fast one and charge me for a service I never agreed to or requested. OBTW, that unapproved service was originally $480 + oil change = $600 but, you "did me a solid" and lowered the price to $400. If you're working on commission, work on your up charges but do not arbitrarily added services. ** As I said at the top, the two guys left without a manager did the right thing. They got on the phone with a manager who approved (as they should've) to only charge us $120, the price of a discounted oil change (I had a $99 oil change with tire rotation coupon.) Not sure why this dealership refuses to honor other KIA dealership maintenance packages with a $50 copay, but is wrong and they should tell people this on the phone when they mention the package before making the drive all the way there. Also, where is the efficiency in not all KIA dealerships knowing the maintenance packages you purchased? This is an unfair and frustrating ordeal for me because I purchased a new KIA that was a lemon from them!! I wish I could give them no stars!!!! Guys do not buy from here. My dad and I went to look at this red 2020 Kia Rio we had found online. It was a cute little car and we had genuine plans to purchase it. When driving it around we noticed it was very jerky braking and accelerating- a key indicator the transmission is slipping. So when we returned my dad mentioned that he thought the transmission was slipping and the car salesman's face dropped. The smile immediately fell from his face and he was like let me check on that with the mechanic, came out not even 20 seconds later and said "oh yeah, so the mechanic this morning noticed that too, so it's not gonna be for sale anymore" THEY TRIED TO SELL ME THIS CAR KNOWING IT WAS BUSTED. And if they had known this morning it was slipping why didn't they call me! Thank god I didn't buy it cause this could have cost me thousands to fix! Update: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION I would give zero stars if I could at this point. Took them about 2 weeks to get me a loaner car after dropping off my car, then they went about a month without any updates before calling to tell me it was ready for pick up. When I got the car home, I noticed that the front right wheel's cover was missing and the rear view window's wiper fluid tube was disconnected. I called them the next morning to inform them that the cover was not put back and it has now been over a month and 3 weeks since hearing from them and I still don't have a cover. They also did not warn me that there would be a break in period for the engine they replaced, leaving me very worried that something was wrong. On 3/15, I brought my vehicle, a 2023 Kia K5 LXS, in for a routine oil change. However, due to the negligence of the service department, my vehicle malfunctioned shortly after, causing me to pay over $500 out of pocket to get it towed back to the dealership the same evening. As a result, I was without a vehicle for two days until they reopened in order to repair the issue that their service department caused. One of those days I had to take off working adding to the financial strain that I already had paying for tow. On 3/17, the service department advised me they would repair the damage and drop my car off to me. A technician dropped my car off to me, only for me to notice the under shield was hanging beneath my car, scraping the ground. The technician then explained to me they would drive my car back to the dealership, repair the under shield, then drop it back off to me, which not only caused me to wait again for my vehicle repairs, but also accumulated unnecessary milage on my vehicle. The level of carelessness is completely unacceptable, as it not only put myself and my vehicle at risk, but could have resulted in significant damage and costly repairs. As a paying customer, I expect professional and competent service, and this experience severely impacted my trust in this dealership. If I could I would give this dealership 0 stars. I had a very good experience buying from this dealership yesterday. Right as my boyfriend and I walked in, we were greeted immediately, even though they were pretty busy. We had called prior to showing up to see if a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe was still available and if we can do a trade in. Once we gave the name of the person we were talking to, we were directed to him. Geo was very nice, attentive, respectful and helpful! Not only was he good, but the manager was genuine and helpful as well. I didn't feel pressured at all while finalizing the purchase. Even when there was a small mistake made, they immediately rectified it and explained what happened before we went any further. I appreciate that they were able to make the process and experience quick and easy. Because it took them a while to get my back license plate off, we were there until after closing hours, so I really appreciate them making sure everything was completed before they left. They even told me to come back today because one of the screws for my back plate is stripped, so they will fix it for me. Hopefully, their current team treats all their customers like this. read more

This will be long but very detailed on how bad this dealership drops the ball. Let's begin with my most recent experience and back track to when I purchased my Kia soul in November. Over a week ago I called to talk to financing department because while looking at my third party loan it is way more than what the car total was. I remember I was pressured during financing to add additional services and I still don't have my details for that. I called asked for copies of the forms I signed a week ago, since I am pretty sure originally I didn't get the thumb drive in November, at least it isn't here. I was told Boris will call me no follow up at all. Let's go back to December, my temp tags were expiring December 16th still had no word on my tags being in it was about a few days before I called the tag department to inquire further where I wish I could remember her name but she was extremely rude told me well they are here so I asked why I haven't received a call. Anyways to shorten they would've gotten to it per her even though my tag would've expired etc, long back and forth. At that time I wrote a Google review I was fed up one star, when I picked up my plate Boris forced me to fill out the Kia satisfaction survey in front of him informing me what to put, to get the additional free oil change. After tags were done I go to leave Boris came out to ask me per management to delete my one star for 250 dollar gift card to be mailed to me. I wasn't as upset at the time so I did delete it in front of Boris and never received anything like management said it's been over a month at this point. Now day of the sale in mid November day of purchase. It was busy, overwhelming, and too much pressure. After deciding on the Kia soul (not the color I would've wanted but only option) filled out the paperwork waited for over an hour for the finance department in the loud overcrowded place feeling unsafe and overstimulated (I am neurodivergent, important to the situation). Time comes where my father in law and I went in for me to do the signing, where I was pressured into tears and forced to add on additional services x amount per month covers xyz, I am so broken down I sign I get told that I'll get a copy of the signed forms on a thumb drive I remember her making it but don't remember receiving it. But again I was in a very fragile state. To wrap it all up I still have zero information on "the additional services" that caused my loan to be almost 9000 more that agreed upon price, so pretty sure dealership just added additional money at this point and stole it. I have yet to receive the information to my email from December of additional oil change for being forced what to say on the Kia satisfaction survey, I don't even know when it is due for an oil change yet, the app says 8000 miles but that feels wrong. I never received the 250 dollar gift card for removing my last review like asked in December. And I still haven't gotten a followup call regarding my copies of forms signed to get the "additional services" and pricing information. The entire team are attentive, professional and genuinely interested in making you happy. I was not able to get the deal I needed from another Kia dealer. When I walked in the door at Ourisman Chantilly, I explained what vehicle I wanted and where my price point was. They worked very hard to find my deal and I drove away in the exact vehicle I wanted . Had to continuously call back for status updates because the service advisor "was busy and forgot". Customer service has gone out the window! I spent $35,000 for my car and was contracted to have free oil changes for the life of the vehicle. Well, that has all gone out the window. I scheduled my oil change, and no where on the web site was there a notification that the program was discontinued on 9/1/24, I never got notification thru the mail either. I showed up for my appointment and the person behind the counter just pointed at the small sign stating the program ended. Then he indicated that it would be over $100 for a simple oil change! I can get my regular mechanic to do it for under $40! I will never recommend the dealership or purchase another vehicle from them again. They rush, make mistakes, don't own up to their mistakes and try to make you feel like they are doing you a favor when they are in fact not. Their lack of apology for the shambolic treatment added insult to injury. In stark contrast, Pohanka Lexus, led by the stellar Feraz, showed how it's done: quick, transparent, and no drama. They've even been texting us family-sized SUV options with real deal numbers, unlike Ourisman's six-hour marathon to produce a single figure we'd agreed on days before. The kicker? Sitting next to our brand new 2023 Tesla, an extremely rare Lexus ES-F luxury & Sport edition... so starting with the choice to only test drive 1 car, refusing to appraise our trade-in and texting in the back seat as we struggled to find/ turn on the headlights as we cruised towards the freeway, Patty finally woke up in time to try and poor shame us? Pretty unbelievable stuff and this is at the 40,000 foot level. In summary: The Telluride is great, but steer clear of Ourisman Kia Fairfax and Audi Tysons Corner. Well to begin with...I'm an idiot. I was curious about getting a new car. My current car is a 2020 KIA Sorento. Ive been getting a new car every 4-6 years. I was told by Stafford Brown KIA in Manassas (where I have bought 3 Kia's) that I had too much negative equity on my current car...but they really did try to get me into a new Kia. They didn't run a hard credit at all. Then... I get an email from Ourisman. I told them the whole situation. The negative equity, my credit score, the mileage, a picture of the vin plate, what I am currently paying per month, the approximate payoff amount and I didn't want to put anything down. I left nothing out. I was upfront with everything. I get the usual salesman pitch...we can definitely work with that. I was kind of excited but had my doubts. I should have gone with my gut. I get there and we go through the whole set up and the salesman kind of gives me hope, but I'm still pessimistic. The do a hard credit check and two hours later they can't do it. I know I know I'm a dumbass for thinking it could be done, but still, to bait me down there and tell me it's possible and waste two hours. Not cool. Anyone got some ice in the arctic to sell me?! I would recommend Safford Brown KIA. They didn't ask me to go to the dealer and they knew the same information I gave Ourisman. They were up front about everything. read more

The manager took care of a few extras for me, like fixing a dent that the car had and small paint touch-ups, in addition to fixing a tire pressure gauge that was not working. However, when I walked in and asked about the car, they had told me that the price had gone up, so I'm not sure how that happened. However, overall, we were pleased with the car buying experience. My parents and I came on Sunday so they could buy me a 2024 Kia Sportage. We arrived around 1:20pm and we left at 6:30pm. During the 5 hour time period, we have redone multiple paperwork, the first car we have picked out had a dent in it after it was "cleaned", and our second car; the sales guy drilled the license plate in wrong so it was off center. We brought the car back on Tuesday because the car didn't get an inspection to complain and get the drilled holes fixed. We came by today, July 4th, to pick the car up again. The dealer claims they've fixed the car, but we can still see the drilled holes. The manager offered to give us a refund, but he also said that if we ever buy another car from this dealership, we are no longer allowed to complain about anything wrong about any future car purchases. Ourisman Kia of Fairfax has a 1.5 rating because you can not rate it lower than 1 star. We have a brand new car (purchased at their dealership) that went in for two warranty checks so far. I had to return to the service lot both times because they did not do what we requested. The worst is that they can not even do an oil change correctly. (How hard is this???) We took our car in before we went on a long trip. We got a warning light 10 minutes into the trip that said we were low on oil. They have not replaced the chamber with enough oil!!!! Most of the Ourisman dealerships have low ratings on Yelp. I am now going to Beyer Kia, and they are GREAT!!! They provide the best service I have received at a dealership. I have been driving for over 55 years. I have had 13 cars and taken many to various dealerships for repair. After only one visit I believe Ourisman Kia in Fairfax is by far the worst dealerships when it comes to repairs and customer service. I watched customer after customer complain about their car not being ready when promised. Many had dropped the car the night before as suggested only to be told that they did not have time to get to their car. My repeated calls to determine if my car was ready were either not answered or messages not returned. When I did pick up my car I observed incomplete paperwork for numerous repairs literally scattered across countertops. It was utter chaos at the service counter. They should be disclosing that the transmission is damaged but they aren't telling potential customers the truth. we were fortunate to find out before purchasing the vehicle. we took the car to our mechanic & he discovered the transmission was damaged. My experience with the service department was unlike any other. My car was dropped off on Tuesday. After reviewing the inspection report that same morning, there was virtually no communication about the status of the repairs. My advisor would not respond to calls, text or email requests for updates. On Thursday, I was able to speak with another advisor, Enrique, who let me know they hadn't even started working on my car. He said the technician may start working on it on Friday and the car might be ready at the end of the day. Friday came and went with no additional communication from any advisor. I decided I would go to the dealership on Saturday morning to get some information. I called at 7:45 on the off chance someone might actually answer the phone. I was informed that my car was ready. After paying and picking up the vehicle, I received an email from Marco, stating the car was ready. I should have checked reviews before going here. Others have had very similar experiences. The manager always responds with an apology. Why would you apologize if this is simply how you do business? Absolutely horrible service department. They have no idea what they are doing. So disorganized, zero care for their customers. They don't honor appointments. They don't do updates. Told me it would be "a few hours" to fix several safety recalls and diagnose my check engine light that was on. I called daily (sometimes twice) and was told multiple times that they would "call me back in 10 minutes" to let me know what was going on with my car. Never heard anything. 8 days later I called and said I was picking it up, they said ok it's ready. I picked it up and the check engine light was still on. They had it for 8 DAYS and did literally nothing with no explanation. Truly a bizarre experience. Avoid. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from them! So many terrible experiences with NO response from management. Disgusting. My experience is on par with the majority. I left feeling like I made a mistake. 20 days later I still have no license plates or loan information and NO ONE will call me back or answer emails. Neil in fiance is only interested in himself not customers. He went out of his way to make me feel stupid .... DO NOT under any circumstances finance through these people. Even with excellent credit they'll give you the worst rate the can. I love my car but really wish I didn't ever have to deal with this place ever again. I can't imagine the service Department being any better and clearly management couldn't care less. read more
