Cleanliness could improve. The lights above our meal where super dusty along with the window seal.

I just wished that they would bake some decent bread. The thing that they call bread, is frozen, partly reheated garbage.

I went in the Farmer's Market first. It looks like an old barn. There were lots and lots of homemade choices- "canned" soup bases, fruits, vegetables, salsas, jams, flavored oils to name a few. There were also fresh fruits, nuts, honey, vegetables, dairy products and cakes. There are four areas you can eat. The main "restaurant" is small with only a few tables. Evidently it's a favorite of older local gentlemen to gather for an early breakfast. There is also the "Pig Sty," "The Chicken Coop" and the farmer's market area. Some of these can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer so dress accordingly. The farmer's market area is heated by a wood stove. The staff here are so friendly. It felt like we were visiting family. The food was good ole country food. The hubby and I each ordered the breakfast plate. I had coffee with my choice of several flavored creamers. If you pay in cash you get a discount. If you are in the area you should check it out. You can order from the breakfast or lunch menu. Plan to stay a few extra minutes and look around and support local farmers. We brought home some boiled peanuts. Fun experience and good breakfast.

This was absolutely one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in many years. From start to…read morefinish, the hospitality was second to none, the food was delicious, and the facilities were in order. We arrived around 5pm, and while there were other families ahead of us, we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated and then greeted by Jose, the most amazing server... He offered us drinks and appetizers, which came promptly, and even asked our names and personally thanked us... our salad came out first, then appetizer, then meal - just the way I like it... by the way, get the stuffed mushrooms. I used the restroom while there, and it was clean and tidy... another major problem most places. When our food arrived, Jose placed our plates, checked our table, removed remnant dishes (something that matters a great deal to me), and asked if we needed anything else. Jose noticed me looking around needing something (like you do in a restaurant when something isn't right) and he came immediately over. My partner did not enjoy his side dish even though it looked really tasty, and so I asked for a different one and Jose responded without hesitation, quickly bringing out something else - and I mean quickly, seconds... maybe. My porterhouse was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were delicious. I just hate we didn't have room for dessert, the cheesecake looked spectacular. As Jose cleared some additional plates, he asked about dessert, but we declined and instead asked to speak with the manager, who came quickly. I explained the level of service was second to none, and Dylan (mgr) was so kind and thanked us for our comments. I cannot say enough about the culture of service and hospitality at Longhorn's Anderson, and cannot wait to go back. It was spectacular.

I asked the server if I could get it redone. The server came out with the same steak but cooked for only two seconds longer. Also not to mention the service wasn't good either. I will not be going back to this longhorn for a long time.
