Ordered the boneless ribeye with Mac and cheese and tortilla soup. The steak was pretty juicy and cooked well. But the Mac and cheese was ultimately my favorite part of the meal. It was so cheesy and you could get the best cheese pull from this dish unlike other places that have Mac and cheese as a side. I also really enjoyed the tortilla soup that the waiter recommended but I wish it had more chips in it in order to get that crunch I was looking for. Third time and you're out. This is my third time at the Arcadia Outback Steakhouse. The first time was so long ago that all I remember about that visit was that I wish they hadn't close sizzler in Temple City because the their food was better. I sent that back and was then given a piece of meat that was so rare that it could of been tartare and by the time that piece of meat arrived at our table the rest of our party had finished they plate or what they could. Time is now approximately 16:35. My wife tends to enjoy her wine, so she ordered the 9oz and damn back in the old days,,, ok stay focused, stay focused, somewhere in our conversations of life dreams and such time as it always does slips past until it seems something is amiss? Our waiter was MIA for that entire period and we both finally remarked if outback was in the process of butchering a fresh bovine? So, we decided to pick the first employee as our POC and enquire about our meal? Again very polite he said that it would be looked into, shortly a young lady comes to the table and seems to give us a little more info on our now 55minute wait. Now if the place was packed I would totally understand; but at this point there were maybe 20 people seated? I'm not a patient man but for some reason i was in total control. We all know what damage control is and the nice young lady was very nice but when it take 55 minutes to cook two steaks one 6, and one 9 oz, if'en they left them on that long they would have been leather and the Arcaida FD would be on their way since the smoke would have set off the alarms. I used to be a frequent flyer as the food was acceptable for the price. My last 3 of 5 experiences with curbside takeaway have been terrible as something is missing every time. The last time I ordered curbside 2 sides were missing. I refused to try them for six months and let my guard down today. The server came out and I asked him to verify as to everything being in the bag. He looked and said all good. We had 5 entrees and an appetizer. Two vegetable sides were missing and only one bread for five entrees. When I called to speak to the manager the person asked regarding what. When I told him I was put on hold and waited several minutes with no answer. That has ended all further dealings with OUTBACK. Went on 02/06/22 for my Father Bday Dinner. Only a 15 minute wait to be seated which wasn't that bad considering it was a sunday afternoon/early evening. We walk in and maybe less then half of the Restaurant is full. There were 6 of us, and with all the wisdom of the lady at the front desk, she decided to sit us at a 4 person booth LOL. We asked if we could combine 2 tables to fit all of us which she had no problem with. It took a waiter 10 minutes just to get our drink order, mind you the place wasn't busy at all. After ordering our food i figured it would take no longer then 15-20 minutes to get our food. In reality it took about 40 minutes to get our food. My fathers baked potato was ice cold, and they screwed up all of our orders. I had requested for a medium rare ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. But I got a well done steak with chunks of potato in my mash smh. The only order they got right was one of my nephew's ribs. The service was so bad, basically had to flag down a random waiter or waitress to get a refill on our beverages. The waiters and waitresses do not pick up empty glasses or plates which I find is unprofessional. Also I don't see the need to have 4 people working the front counter to escort parties to a table when there are only maybe 4 waiters and waitresses working. They were reliable, but for some reason my friends and I were disappointed this past weekend. Of the four orders, the two Melbourne Porterhouses were returned and exchanged for another cut. They were incredibly chewy, I had to spit out for fear of choking. The sides were not great either. the garlic mash and crab cakes were too salty but okay. To the food servers and management's credit they dealt with the problem swiftly and decisively, replacing our orders and adjusting our bill, even comped some sides for us. Restaurant was packed and still an hour and half away from closing time, but our server was rushing us from the start. We had a 1 year old baby with us for family dinner, when we asked for a small spoon for the baby, server told us they do not have spoon in the restaurant. Do they not use tea spoon for hot tea anymore? no spoon with coffee? After coming here twice, I can solidly confirm that this restaurant is a high quality steakhouse. I ordered one appetizer, the bloomin onion, and I could not believe the size and quality of this starter. It was perfectly fried, crunchy and crispy. The onion in the inside was unbelievably sweet and melted in my mouth. In addition, the portion was insanely generous, with the three people I was with barely finishing it. If you come to this restaurant, be sure to try out the bloomin onion, as it is the best appetizer on the menu (plus if you check into the Outback Steakhouse on yelp, you get a free one). Next I ordered the entree. There was a deal I spotted on a separate menu that was an 18 oz Sirloin that comes with two sides. The steak itself was medium rare, very juicy and cooked nicely. If you don't like much fat on your steak, this is a great option for you. The two sides I got were the caeser salad and the loaded baked potato. The loaded baked potato, which was served with the steak, was great and very fulfilling. The caeser salad came with the appetizer, and was dressed a tad bit too generously, making it very salty. Overall, this steakhouse produced dishes that went over the top, and I can confidently recommend this place to my family members and friends. P.S. I was going to be celebrating my 50th birthday and my mom wanted to take me out to eat. So instead of going to the norm of going out for Italian food I decided I really wanted some prime rib. So I looked up places that served prime rib on a Sunday (9/26/21). The closest place to us that served it was the outback steakhouse. So it was set. Outback steakhouse it was. We got there around 11: 45a.m. We were sat right away. The staff was really nice. The only issue I really had with this place was that the prime rib was not ready to be served. The website stated that they served prime rib all day on Sunday. So I proceeded to order the prime rib with the waitress and the first thing she tells me is that it's not ready and it won't be ready till almost 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. UGH! The only reason I stood, was because my mom was diabetic and we waited to eat lunch, so she skipped breakfast so that we can have a wonderful prime rib meal.
