I order my sirloin medium rare and was expecting an over cooked lump of garbage. However it was perfectly cooked and it is sitting comfortably in my stomach. Excellent in every way! Thank-you! We ordered Brighton Outback curbside pickup online, on a busy Sunday night, for the crab topped barramundi special and 2 blue cheese pecan chopped salads. I had a bonus gift card from Christmas so when I popped into the pickup area to redeem, I was able to view the restaurant at work. Patrons and staff were all smiling, food was beautiful, the area was clean and organized. It was the best barramundi (and blue cheese wedges) we have eaten, even after a brief car ride. I've been to a few Outback Steakhouse's but it's still been a while since I was at the last one. We saw this place while we were looking for something to eat on a long road trip. It's a pretty standard interior for an outback steakhouse. We got seated almost immediately since it was empty. The waitress was nice and a definite positive. I got the garlic parmesan chicken and the sampler platter. I didnt find the food to be particularly good tbh. The problem with outback steakhouse's in general and this one in particular is that they layer everything there with too much salt, garlic and onions and its just way too much. I think I got heartburn coming out. You should stick to the steak apparently that was better. read more

We had a horrible experience with this restaurants curb side service. We ordered food on their website at 2:30 pm with pick up at 6 pm. It was Mother's Day so when we arrived at 5:50 pm there was a long line into the parking lot. The manager was telling people as they drove in that it would be an hour wait for our food, even for those who ordered ahead of time. We waited for an hour. While we waited 3 Door Dash drivers drove up during 3 separate occasions walked up to the take out door and left with food. That is 3 x 3 = 9 orders. It was very apparent who was their priority. Not the curb side orders, by the way, there were about 20 or more cars parked and waiting for their curb side orders. I went up to the take out door and talked to the manager. He said our food will be out in 30 to 40 minutes. They would call our cell phone when it was ready. We eventually left and we never, ever got a call or our food. Unfortunately we paid for our food already on the app via credit card. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. In fact, I will not go here again! They ruined my Mother's Day and many other mother's waiting in the parking lot!!!!! read more

Our waitress was a completely over whelmed with her job. Running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Could not remember anything we asked for and the place was not very busy. Our party (5) was seated and a 6th person who had a menu and silverware setup for when they arrived. And she took our drink order and then brought them back with the last person showing up. Took her leaving and coming back 3 times before she even recognized or asked if they wanted anything to drink. Put in an order for apps and they came out fine. Waitress kept ask about every 2 min if we were ready to order even tho we said we were going to eat our apps and then order. Everyone placed there food order and only 2 were correct. One had the wrong side that she admitted she put in wrong and placed an order for the side veggies that were ordered. Another was a loaded baked potato that only had butter and sour cream on it. Our steak that we ordered medium was barely medium well. Closer to well done. Also the broccoli was barely cooked and mostly stems. 2 of the people that ordered an entree we're splitting the meal and it took 3 separate trips before she remembered to bring out the extra plate we asked for. Everyone else was about 3/4 of the way done eating by the time we go the plate. We told our waitress and she said she would get the manager. A woman came out with the side of veggies that was supposed to fix the sides. Asked if we needed anything else and didn't wait for an answer said good and left. Waitress came back and asked if the manager had taken care of the problem. Apparently the woman who came and never introduced herself was the manager and no she did not take care of anything. If that is the way the manager acts no wonder the place gets everything screwed up. Also we did a call ahead a few days in advance because it was 2 of the people in our parties birthdays. We still waited 20 minutes and they shoved us in a booth with no room. Instead of putting a couple of tables together so the 6 of us had a little room with the gifts and balloons. Had their signature shrimp on the Barbie. Amount of spices and condiments on the shrimp was too much for my liking. Over done on the ingredients. Also they are now served on skewers. They used to be served loose. And so they are just a tad more difficult to eat I suppose. I liked the cherry tomatoes that came with it. Had two types of beer on draft and moth had some strange smell to them. I think it has to do with lack of maintenance on the tap lines. A bit disappointing. read more

We've eaten here on several occasions over the years and honestly up until the last year or so, this was always a great place to eat. But something has gone wrong here and things have become hit or miss with their quality . Today's visit was a definite miss. And then there was our server who acted as if she would have been anywhere but there today, and apparently my dinner felt the same way! We will start with the bread, she told us that it wasn't quite done baking , so we figured piping hot bread was in our future, unfortunately it wasn't hot enough to melt the rock hard cold butter that came along with it. I had a side of potato soup that I suspect had been popped into the microwave just long enough to melt the the cheese, but not long enough to make it "hot". the Victoria's filet was not a filet even though the server did her best to try and convince me that it was. The manager on duty came over and started trying to tell me the same thing but only for a minute until she saw the sad state of the piece of meat on my plate, she then said it was grossly over cooked and she trotted off to cook me another one, and amazingly the cut of meat she delivered back to the table was a proper filet mignon. This location in Brighton is a extremely poor representation of Bloomin' Brands, particularly Outback - the quality of the steaks here is absolutely awful! This is not an isolated incident and has progressively gotten worse over the past year plus. Employees have admitted to a noticeable increase in complaints of poor quality steak, but that message falls on deaf ears outside the restaurant. The managers are good and typically do their best to make it a decent dining experience, but they don't have much to work with when complaint after complaint their bosses do nothing. While this is not representative of every Outback Steakhouse, don't waste your time or money on steaks from this location. Life is too short. read more

The food here is good, when you actually get what you order. It seems like every time I order at this location, food is forgotten or I don't get the right dressing or sauce. I ordered chicken tenders and asked for bbq sauce and honey mustard. Got neither and to top it off only got one of my sides. I asked for vegetables and mashed potatoes and only got the potatoes. For my salad I asked for extra dressing being the mustard vinaigrette. Only got one dressing and even better, it wasn't even the right dressing. It was some chunky looking one. We were seated right away and the atmosphere seemed what one would expect from the chain. Sadly, this would be the last positive part of our experience. Upon sitting down and undoing our silverware, we noted food debris caked onto the silverware, before we'd even used it. It looks like it was poorly rinsed, then badly washed, and nowhere along the way actually inspected. After telling the waiter about it, he hurried off to get us clean silverware. The second set was no better. Still dirty, with remnants of food. We somewhat reluctantly gave our order as the waiter again went away, highly apologetically, and got us new silverware. In the meantime our food came. The new silverware appeared to have been either hand washed or greatly cared for, as it was shiny new. Pretty much what one would actually expect. The food was good for the first few bites, until we pulled loose a very long hair. At this point, the waiter called over the manager, who was very apologetic, emphasized this was all a big anomaly. I told him, no, it wasn't an anomaly when multiple sets of silverware are dirty... Long story short, he made it right, took great care preparing a substitute dish, and the food was acceptable. Honestly, nothing special. The meal was free, as was our next one, and the earnest disappointment the manager expressed convinced us to give them a second chance. Did I mention we really TRIED to like this place? We went again tonight (12JAN2018) to use the coupons we were previously given. We were seated right away though it appeared busy. Once situated we opened our silverware to find a very large chunk of whatever the previous user had eaten. A very. large. chunk. The manager was summoned by the waitress, but at this point, we were not going to eat here. He used the line that they are a good restaurant and this doesn't happen.
