    Kids chicken tenders

We had a great experience here for my son's 9th birthday. Server was excellent. Food came out in an acceptable amount of time and was cooked pretty close to exactly correct. My steak was a tiny bit under but still good. My sons tenders were dropped as they were being handed off but they brought him new ones with no issue. They gave him the choice of a birthday result as well. Overall a great experience and my kids want to go back.

    NEW Sirloin* & Lobster Mac

Outback is your typical major chain steakhouse, so I knew going in that the food would be pretty uniform to other locations. You can't go without ordering a Bloomin' Onion as an appetizer because anything fried tastes good. I also ordered the new sirloin and lobster mac & cheese. The sirloin was seasoned well, but I didn't care for the mac & cheese. It tasted too creamy for my taste. The service here was not good at all. Our server was nice taking our order, but after that we were pretty much ignored on every request we asked for (e.g. small plates, ketchup, refill on soda, etc.). It was not too crowded when we were there and a ton of servers were helping with all the tables (running plates, refilling water, bussing) so we weren't sure what happened with our visit. There are other steakhouses nearby with better service so I probably won't return here.

Waitress was great and attentive. The Blooming Onion Battered Chicken was tender and succulent. The mashed potatoes were really potatoes and not the mix. Definitely, a spot that's off the beaten path in Burlington.

Expired sticker from our takeout order.

So, we've ordered from here in the past and the food was good, but there were multiple issues with our curb side order tonight and it was to the point that I'm just...annoyed and kind of grossed out. Two issues with the appetizer: first, ranch dressing was missing - Outback ranch is like crack so it was a major disappointment to discover it was missing from the bushman shrooms order; and second, shrooms were mushy, not fully fried, and dripping in oil. However, the icing on the cake was the sticker on the cinnamon croutons for the cinnamon oblivion LOUDLY identifying the enclosed croutons' expiration date...that passed almost a month ago... Honestly, they're friggin croutons and I'd have been none the wiser had the sticker not been attached to the container with the expiry date highlighted in YELLOW, but the fact that the restaurant cares so little as to not even REMOVE the sticker makes me question every quality control standard this restaurant has and does NOT follow.

    Filet and lobster MR, perfect!!

Wow. I have to say of all the outback's I have been to , this location was the best I have seen for food quality, service, overall performance on all counts . I was staying at the Hampton inn next door so walked over to grab a bite. Being alone, I went to the bar and found one last seat and grabbed it. Hannah and Katie ( gosh I hope I got that right)- we're behind the bar but what a great team they made as beer tenders and servicing the whole bar. Got a beer and sat a bit , got another then realized the food I was waiting for I hadn't ordered yet. !! I guess that's a sign. Really - only 2 beers in... So- Ordered the filet (MR )and lobster with mushroom and asparagus as the sides. For $30, this is a great value and the steak was a perfect MR, great clarified butter for the lobster , good crisp asparagus- very nice job! I always get the sautéed but heads up- they now have fried mushrooms. All was spot on and met the owner/Manager ( Tyler - I hope again ), super nice guy, great manager as I watched him assist the team all night . Not one of those managers that sits back, but hands on , there for the team. This is what it's all about. I like it when a chain has great management , a team that seemed to all like their jobs and their teammates , good chef, rare site these days. Even Jade brought me out some blue cheese I like to sprinkle over the steak and all again was a well oiled machine. Thanks guys for a really nice dinner and evening. Highly recommend and when I'm back in Burlington , I'll be back here for another great night. I want the fried mushrooms next and maybe a Ribeye!

I can't remember our waiter, but he was great. We started with the fried pickles, they were very salty but in a good way. Something you definitely eat while drinking. I had the NY steak cooked to medium and it was cooked to perfection! With a side of broccoli and baked potatoes. I was a little weary when we went to pack up the rest of the fried pickles and under the parchment paper was a French fry. Made me wonder do they wash and clean them or just throw parchment paper in the basket. All in all it was a good visit. I would definitely be back.

The steak also didn't taste like it had any finishing salt on it. The baked potato and corn were good. Staff were great.

There was an employee there chit chatting with a customer while we waited. She then walked away and said someone would be with us shortly. The stand was unattended and we weren't even sure we were in the correct spot. The opposite lot was full so we parked on the south side and thankfully got it right. It would be helpful to mark the entrance in case we parked the opposite side. The turn in going south has one turn on the opposite end. Plenty of parking. The place looks brand new: nice decor. Server Chelsea was very nice and helpful. She got a chicken pasta Alfredo and I got a shrimp and crab cake sandwich. The pasta was way overdone and mushy. It was even very watery. The chicken was sweet. Sweet chicken and Alfredo was pretty terrible. They said all the chicken has the sweet marinade. They should have specified that on the menu because we would have never ordered sweet chicken especially not with Alfredo sauce. The dish in my opinion was pretty bad. I would give that a 1.5/5. Mine was decent. I liked the dill sauce. The bun was sweet and small for the patty but it was ok. The fries were over salted but they came out piping hot and fresh. Would I eat there again? Probably not. It's a small menu with a lot of chicken dishes. Their signature sweet chicken sauce was a turn off for both of us. It was reasonably priced and the server was nice. Overall I have to give the place a 3.5/5. The waiting when we went in and having ro listen to an employee chatting with her friend was off putting while we waited. Had she acknowledged and said someone was coming would have been fine but she completely ignored us until she finished her conversation before saying anything and that was a good 2-3 minutes. The food was a 2.5/5 and the service from Chelsea was excellent. I can't say the same for the lady that ignored us. I give it a 3/5 for that reason. Rounding it up to 4 only because it was so clean and Chelsea's attendance
