Went to the outlets and visited my friend. We decided to go get dinner and we were immediately seated. It is always a great atmosphere I love when they do the dance with a certain song. I can't remember our waiter, but he was great. We started with the fried pickles, they were very salty but in a good way. Something you definitely eat while drinking. I had the NY steak cooked to medium and it was cooked to perfection! With a side of broccoli and baked potatoes. I was a little weary when we went to pack up the rest of the fried pickles and under the parchment paper was a French fry. Made me wonder do they wash and clean them or just throw parchment paper in the basket. All in all it was a good visit. I would definitely be back. read more

Theres a lot to say here. Terrible experience. The waitress did great as far as being attentive and keeping everything full and was very polite. However there was an issue with almost every order. My parents were with us and my mom had to send her steak back to be cooked more. I had a 20oz bone in rib eye and it had about every temperature cook possible. Some of it was rare all the way up to a good part of it was well done. My oldest son ordered the mini burgers and couldnt chew and swallow them because of how dry they were so we sent them back and they re cooked them. They were more burnt the second time. They did take it off the cost of our order but then the bills get into a whole different issue. My parents had a coupon for free appetizer which they didnt take off and they had to adjust and then our bills was about $52 and we had a $50 gift card and for some reason only $36.99 was take. Off via the gift card and the waitress didnt give it back to us. We have the gift card receipt that says it had $50 on it so we were out about $13. I dont know if she didnt run the card right or mis charged us or what. We should have looked more thoroughly and didnt notice till we had left. We trusted they deducted the $50. We left a good tip (my parents and I because service was good but now feel like maybe they stole $13 from us). The place was extremely loud which wasn't a great atmosphere for the whole family (our 4 year old and 5month old struggled). We were happy to get out of there but regretted the choice to go. We went right before the Dinner rush in a Friday night and were seated immediately. We had just enough time to pick our tickets for our steak of the case. I picked a Ribeye and she picked a NY Strip. We ordered the Fried Pickles and the came out piping hot and true to form they were on the salty side. When we were cleaning up to make room for our dinner, I littered up the remaining pickles and put them with the rolls and found a fry in the bottom of the basket. I guess we either got a dirty basket or..... The steak was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were tasty, however the onions not so much and I'm an onion eater. My family and I had one of the most disappointing customer service experiences we've ever had at this Texas Roadhouse. Just to add I have a newborn and a five year old. We arrived with a party of 11 during a severe thunderstorm and were told the wait would be approximately an hour and a half. As we stood in the entryway for a moment trying to decide what our group wanted to do, the hostess abruptly and rudely told us that we could not stand there to figure it out. I explained that it was pouring rain and storming outside, and her response, in a very condescending tone, was simply that we could "wait in the car." At that point, we decided we would just leave because no one should be treated that way. Instead of attempting to apologize or show even the slightest bit of concern, she replied, "That's great." Her tone, body language, and complete lack of hospitality made it abundantly clear that she couldn't have cared less whether we stayed or left. As a group of professionals who work with people every day, we understand that customer service can be challenging. However, treating guests with basic courtesy and respect should always be the standard. There was absolutely no empathy for the fact that we were standing inside because of dangerous weather conditions. We have always been loyal supporters of Texas Roadhouse and have enjoyed many great experiences over the years. That is exactly why this experience was so shocking and disappointing. Unfortunately, because of how we were treated, we will not be returning to this location. We sincerely hope management addresses the lack of professionalism and customer service displayed, because no guest should ever be made to feel like an inconvenience for simply trying to stay out of a thunderstorm read more

Today we arrived at our favorite steak house to find that at 12:15 pm they are OUT-of Prime Rib. This is unacceptable and very poor management ! It's Sunday, right after church!!! It's probably in the oven and not ready or they are using up what was left from last night!!! AGAIN poor management !! Having been a restaurant manager for 35 years I just find this ipsetting when you drive 45 min for lunch. Jenelle was our server and was EXCELLENT! Our order of Rib Eye and Filet came out excellent .... Salad is always great. See vice was great but the server who brought out the steaks was not friendly and did not ask us to check out steaks our server came right away and checked. The restaurant is alway neat and clean. 4 adults, 2 children and a baby called ahead at Texas Roadhouse Burlington. They initially seated us at a small booth. Gave us our drink order and a high chair. They then had to move us to a bigger table because of the fire hazard the high chair posed. They told us they would move our drinks for us and we were to leave them. They left us sitting at the new table for over 30 minutes without our drinks. They then brought out salads but we had no cutlery to eat with. Finally they brought us some and had to take drink orders again. I felt sorry for the new server who was caught up in this mess with little guidance from her management and did a really great job providing excellent customer service to rectify the dissatisfaction. The Caesar salad was crisp with the right amount of dressing. The Onion Blossom appetizer was delicious and disappeared quickly. The chicken fried steak with Green Beans was delicious and expertly marinated and prepared. All the meals were very good and the quality of the food and the great service from the replacement server earned a 4 star. I recommend this restaurant, all the food is good. read more

We came in on hump day. A shopping center with bbq place close but we've had our fill of NC "Q". This Texas Roadhouse was semi busy for 5 pm . My ribeye was very good as were my sides baked potato and fresh vegetables. My wife was going to get the prime rib but here it's only offered on the weekends. Anyway. She got the sirloin with shrimp which she liked . Ambiance is casual with country music blaring. A little too loud but not enough to knock a star. As soon as I stepped in today I heard two of the host speaking in the most disgusting manner about their boyfriends! When the couple in front of me was sat even they seemed uncomfortable with the way she was speaking. Texas Roadhouse is a favorite of ours for the food and the check-in app. Or that was until they took the check-in app out of Yelp and have their own version now. You can't check your place in line now, which was handy before to gauge how long it would take to be seated. The service is hit or miss, and so are the rolls- they're either soft and pillowy or slightly overdone. The ambience is always loud. I'll be honest, it's great to take a young child here, as then they can sleep through anything, or if they are loud, it just blends in. The steaks are good. It felt dry and tasted more like fish than chicken. The full rack of ribs could have used a lot more bbq sauce. The sides of corn, veggies, and mashed potatoes were fantastic. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience last night at Texas Roadhouse was an absolute trainwreck. Let's break it down. First, the bread. The first batch they brought out was raw. When I pointed this out, the waitress actually told me, "That's how people like it." Excuse me? I've had plenty of Texas Roadhouse bread over the years, and I can promise you, raw dough is not a delicacy. She came back with new bread--burnt to a crisp. At that point, I started to wonder if this was a hidden camera prank show. It didn't stop there. She managed to spill garlic butter all over our entrée--a complete mess. And what did she offer to fix it? Nothing but offer more butter. She just addressed it casually and walked off like dumping melted butter on someone's food is standard service. No apology, no replacement, no gesture to make it right. As if that weren't enough, I asked for a Caesar salad with dressing on the side. What I got was a bowl of lettuce swimming in ranch--nearly all dressing, with wilted lettuce that looked like it had been swept off the kitchen floor. If they wanted me to lose my appetite, mission accomplished. The one bright spot was the steak--it was good. But even then, I couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that something was off. After everything we went through, I started wondering what might have gone on in the kitchen before it hit the table. All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Between the raw-then-burnt bread, the careless waitress, and the sad excuse for a salad, this visit was nothing short of a disaster. Texas Roadhouse, do better. I won't be back. Texas Roadhouse is always our go to restaurant for birthday celebrations and tonight was no different. We had put down a party of 5 as we had one person that was trying to come. We know it's much easier to have an extra person in a party that doesn't show than trying to add one. When it was time for our party to be seated, the hostess had asked how many and we confirmed it would only be 4 and not 5. As we waited in space one, right at the hostess stand, we can hear the hostess very loudly saying to the girl who was going to seat us (with an attitude) "ask them if they have 4 or 5 people in their party because I'm not doing this shit!" Mind you, we had already told this hostess it was 4 and not 5. The attitude, the cussing, the rudeness was absolutely uncalled for and set my mood for the dinner. Walked in there with my fiancé after a movie to enjoy a nice dinner walked in the receptionist barely talked to us then pointed to go to number two. We stood there waiting even though the restaurant was completely empty and no one came to seat us then we tried to call And let someone know and they said oh I don't know why they didn't seat you and then we called corporate and they didn't even offer any compensation. Inexpensive and reliably good, in spite of a long waits and sometimes slow customer service. We were able to join the waitlist via Yelp on our way over. It's a good thing we did, because we ended up waiting for about 30 mins at 3pm on a Sun. It seemed like the wait got way longer after we got in. The seating process was reminiscent of a Disney world line situation, where we were ushered to different numbered spots on the floor. It was well organized though and we were seated with hot yeast rolls and cinnamon butter. Our server was pretty quick, but there were other diners near us who were distressed by the slow service. We got a an onion blossom as an appetizer and it was delicious. The dipping sauce has a little heat, so we asked for ranch as an alternative. For an entree, I opted for the 5oz salmon, a Caesar salad and fries. Everything came out quick and as expected. Their fries are basic no-frills steak fries, but they were cooked well. For the prices they charge, it's hard to beat Texas Roadhouse. They don't usually knock my socks off, but the value for money is consistently good. read more

Service and food were not an issue. Was there at 5 o'clock on a Friday night and the music volume in the restaurant was so loud I could not even hear my server talking to me. Manager came around at one point and asked how everything was I explained to her the food was good. Service was good, but the music was just too loud to even have a conversation with my server, much less the rest of my family at the table. Was told it would be turned down and 30 minutes later still no change to the volume. I understand having music at higher volumes helps with turnover, but it was pretty excessive to the point where I pulled out a sound meter app on my phone and it was reading over 85 dB. read more

We went out for my mother in laws birthday. We had a party of 12. We called at 4:00 to see about putting our name on the waitlist. They said with a party so big, we had to wait until we got there. When we arrived at 4:30, we were told 45 min to an hour wait. We waited patiently outside with 4 kids for an hour. At 5:20 we started asking about our place in line. We were informed that they were waiting on the table before us to leave. We waited another 10 minutes. At 5:30 I went inside and asked about our place in line and the hostess seemed perplexed that we had waited so long. She made it seem like they would make sure we were seated very soon. A few more minutes went by, and then my husband went inside to ask. They told him the big table was paying and they would clean it asap. It was 5:45 at this point. We went back in and they said the table had just paid so they would be leaving soon. We waited and saw the big party leaving by this time (outside going to their cars). We waited a few more minutes, thinking they were cleaning our table and they still never called us!!! We were so upset by this time so we left. We received a call about 5 minutes later stating our table was ready. We told them we got tired of waiting and left. There were so many other parties in and out before us & even being smaller party sizes, there could have been better communication about everything going on!
