I'll take it as an off day because it was a little busy but not too bad. The service was spectacular, from the servers (Lettie and I believe Kayla) and the manager (Justin). Our food came out very spaced out and the check got COMPLETELY disoriented. We advised that we'd split it (party of 14) prior to ordering and they agreed it was fine. After we ate it took an additional hour or so just to decipher who ordered what. I had chicken and shrimp pasta...chicken was dry/overcooked and there was not enough pasta sauce for all the noodles. My loaded baked potato soup was DELICIOUS, wish I had gotten a crock and not a cup. Kid friendly, typical restaurant noise. Other family members said they enjoyed their food and drinks. They definitely have the fountain carbonated just right. I'm already not a huge fan of Outback, but it wasn't my choice. We did enjoy the service and some enjoyed the food. Bring your patience. Waited over an hour and a half to get our food. This is after having to ask about our salads that were ordered. Came yesterday for lunch at 11:30 while working in the area. No musty smell inside like some other outbacks. Was seated right away. Had the filet mignon with veggies and potatoe. Everything was yummy! Kaylee was my waitress and checked on me often. Even the manager came and asked how my meal was. Bathrooms were spotless which is also a great sign for a restaurant. I made a yelp account just to make this review. Seriously this place gave us a horrible experience. Customer service was bad, we weren't checked on and waited 30 minutes just for them to take our order at the table, asked for sauce and nothing. Food finally came out, we got there at 12am exactly and it was 1:20pm by the time we got our food. The food wasnt cooked right and although my partner ordered her steak medium, it was rare. Will not be going back to this place for as long as I live. Might've as well just thrown money out on the street for the type of experience we had. read more

Really nice experience here - our server was terrific! So friendly and professional and really attentive. Stopped in for a late lunch - we all got steaks since this is our main meal today, almost 2:30 pm. Keep in mind, due to Covid, adjusted hours and limited menu now. Seated right away. The brown bread was yummy, as always. Side salads are so good here. Steaks all around, all very good. Broccoli cooked just right! Coconut shrimp appetizer was delicious! Ventured in while visiting a friend in town. I haven't dined at Outback in quite some time. I was somewhat nervous because it didn't seem like there were other customers. I was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant to be extremely clean. The highlight of our evening was our server, Jack! He made sure we had an exceptional experience. We all enjoyed our food - to the point my Dad (who HATES to dine out), took what he couldn't eat home! Davis was our server today and we came early so we could enjoy our meal. It's been a while since our last visit and we saw what a rainy cold day it was. So we got that special cheese and steak appetizer and drinks came right out. Very good. We were impressed to have two managers stop by during our meal and we got to tell them how much we enjoyed those sweet potatoes and steaks. But especially how well Davis took care of us throughout our meal. We felt welcomed by all staff and we enjoyed seeing how they treated folks as they arrived and when they left. I visited here on 4/12/21 for a late lunch. My friend was taking me out to celebrate my birthday early. As I'm doing keto, outback has pretty good options! I got the steak and grilled chicken with broccoli and green beans. I then got the toowoomba topping for my steak and chicken. My food was delicious!! No complaints at all. The waitress was fairly attentive In the beginning but slacked off a bit towards the end. My friend got the strawberry lemonade and said it was nasty. He ended up getting a regular soda instead. fantastic service. we had a group of 16 and our experience was fantastic. first and foremost, our server was top notch. friendly and efficient. he was exceptionally attentive, friendly and provided phenomenal service. we couldn't have asked for a better server. the food was really good. I personally think Outback should take a bit of the spicy seasoning out of their recipe but that's my personal opinion. the food was great and served very quickly. the manager came by to check on us a few times. she had a great personality and very friendly. we did have a longer than expected wait time to be seated bc of the size of our group and there was a party there before us that stayed and talked for a bit. the manager offered different solutions to get us all seated quicker but I insisted on us all being at 1 table. I did appreciate her offers and her hard work. the hostess that I talked to the night before to get in the priority list was very friendly and helpful as was the hostess on shift when we arrived. all of the staff that we came into contact with great. our experience was perfect and we thank all of the staff for helping make our event perfect. read more

Let me start off by saying, the outback here in Greenville, has certainly improved it within the last few months to a year. Tonight, we went to eat dinner and had an incident in the parking lot which was handled in due form. The manager took great care of us in the situation and our waitress. Hannah had great hospitality. We came here as a team and they seemed very prepared for us. The salads, bread and drinks were all ready when we got there. The bread was not as fresh and warm as usual but it was good ( I predict it was day old). The servers were nice and friendly. However, the entrees came out a bit scattered. It is difficult because we are such a large group though. All of the orders eventually came out and they were correct. A lot of the team ordered steak and they really varied a lot. Most people orders medium and everyone's looked very different. Some looked like they were straight from the cow and still mooing on the plate. Others looked like they had been forgotten on the stove. Therefore, it was difficult to know what temperature to ask your steak to be cooked to. The sides were all tasty though! read more

The food is good, but after ordering through delivery several times we always have something missing. Whether it be a side or toppings incorrect. For example tonight part of my order included Alice springs chicken without mushroom. The sides I ordered were correct but the chicken had mushrooms. Also, it is supposed to come with a side of honey mustard and that was missing. We also did not receive our bread. I must say the bread was the bomb. We came in with a large group so it took awhile to order. It was a long day so we kept going at the bread which was very filling. We also got the blooming onion which was amazing. Tasted better than the ones at the state fair. By this rate I was already getting full and tired of waiting. They had a $9.99 special on Wednesday night for a 6 oz with fries and a bud light. I don't drink beer so I tried to substitute it with a special beverage but they wouldn't let me so I got a sprite. If I known I didn't have to get a beverage and just stuck with water it would've been $7. The waiter wasn't clear on that. The sprite ended up being $2.99 which was the same price as the special beverages which didn't make sense why I couldn't get it. The steak was a bit chewy and I didn't really touch the fries. We decided to order take out on this busy Valentine's Day. It was crazy and they could not find my order at first, but the sweet lady in the to go section went above and beyond to help. When she could not find it, she reached out to the manager and he went into the kitchen and found it for me. It took an additional 15-20 minutes to finish cooking the order, so I made my way to the bar for a drink. The manager escorted me over there and made sure I had a seat. The two bartenders were very kind and attentive. When my food was ready, the manager came over to personally let me know that it was ready. I wish I had gotten everyone's names, but I did not. Our drinks were NEVER empty, we always had food on the table, and it was genuinely a friendly environment. We had a party of 10 that called prior to going to the restaurant to see if we could get on the wait list. We were told about 35 minutes or so. We got to the restaurant after about 10 minutes and were told the table we would have was eating and once they were done we would be next. We patiently waited outside for an hour. When some of our party saw the table was leaving some of our group went in to wait to be seated since the hostess had said we would be at that table. The hostess ended up sitting another party at the table. When we asked why they got seated when we had been told it was our table she kept making excuses. She said that group was supposed to sit at another table but it didn't have enough room so they gave them our table. I asked for the manager and she was no help so we left. Boyfriend ordered Porterhouse steak medium rare with raw horseradish on side. She brought food without horseradish and then took 10 minutes to bring it, at which time while waiting...realized he got a pork chop NOT steak. So disappointed. Didn't have Sprite for my drink, so got Prosecco which had no bubbles. No plates provided for shade app. Steak was cooked medium rare as requested and would have tasted ok if nothing cold. My husband had to cut it for me as it had that tough membrane through it and so tough. My baked potato came with no butter or chives which I ordered, but had cheese which I did not want. I asked for butter but never got it. The potato was as cold as my steak so butter wouldn't melt anyway. My husband liked his steak and rice. Waiter was nice, but not super on top of it. The restaurant is typically clean and while the staff doesn't always seem to remain the same, they are still all typically good at their jobs. My husband's current favorite is the bacon bourbon ribeye. I always love the outback special (sirloin), no rules parm pasta, and/or grilled lobster tails. While they have more choices for appetizers, we typically still with the blooming onion or bacon cheese fries. I've found that a lot of friends that don't want a steak will get the Alice Springs chicken - so if you're not into the kind of stuff I like and want to try something, that will be your best bet. You know the steak is good, because it doesn't require sauce. Alcoholic beverages or desserts are also typically a good option as well. read more
