I'm a big outback fan! My husband and I went before he had to leave town for military training. We placed our pickup order at 4 pm for 5:40 pm pick up. We arrived at 5:40 pm and they got our name. At 6 pm they came back to say they are still working on it. It wasn't until 6:15 pm that we got our food and the lady said how it was on the bottom shelf the whole time. I have patience if we waited over 30 min for our food if it was going to be fresh and hot, but it just sat on the shelf. We got home and the chicken and steak were cold and they only gave us one side for the 2 potatoes. Okay first don't agree with this high rating. First time I've been back to outback in 5yrs and now I understand why. We arrived around 5 well before rush and there was a lot of seating available, however we, along with other patrons had to wait 10 minutes for some odd reason. Went to try it out after a bad experience a few years ago, hoping that it would have gotten better. Was not to surprise that it didn't change but it did get worse. Upon entering the restaurant the floors were sticky and didn't feel to clean. Once seated had to wait over 5-10 minutes to get our drink order taken. Their were only about ten tables that had people sitting at them. Then an additional 10-15 minutes for the server to come back with the two waters that we ordered. The server then took our order and we proceeded to wait for over an additional 30-40 minutes and still did not have our order and our waiter never came back to check on us. Two other tables were seated after we arrived. Both table's received their drinks, appetizers and as we were leaving we saw that they both had received their meals. We were pleasantly surprised with our family dinner. We went early Sunday evening and they only had a handful of tables. Seated right away. Drinks came no issues. Ordered a bloomingonion came out in a timely fashion cooked decently well. Then we sat, noticed a few tables who came in after us getting salads and such. Waiter noticed us looking and ran over to inform us he forgot to put in our order. We sat down around 5:10pm and didn't receive our food until right at 6pm. Normally this wouldn't be to big an issue. Our 4 year old was getting bored. And when a 4 year old gets bored they annoy everyone in eye sight. When our food did come it was good! The only one who didn't like their dinner was our 4 year old who filled up by eating a whole mini loaf and half a bloomingonion. Located somewhat on the edge of town, but along a major thoroughfare, the Outback is hard to miss with its standard massive side. The interior was the same as every other Outback you have ever seen. Still, it was clean and we were seated quickly. The server was attentive and brought me a refill without even asking. Our cheese fries were over done such that the cheese was kind of crispy on top. Also, my burger was sort of over cooked and dry. The service was fine and the patrons seemed happy, but I have to take them down a star for the incorrectly cooked fries and less than stellar burger. Me and my family decided to go out for mother's day this year even though we knew it was gonna be busy. We were very patient because we understand how it works on holidays. We get there and wait patiently. Finally get sat down and was immediately greeted by my server Stevi and it was all fun and good times the whole time. Then with only serving 2 tables, she gave us the wrong ticket and swiped our card. She then comes back and says I need your credit card again because that was the wrong ticket. Own up to your mistake and deal with it. So you charge us twice and tell us that she promises that the first charge will be voided. Um... With your track record, I would like to see the voided ticket. So this takes another 10 minutes for whatever made up excuse. Totally disappointed with the service. Don't have any desire strong enough to go back. There's a dozen more chains that have comparable food... But wait staff make up a lot of the dining experience. Outback Steakhouse... For a $70+ meal for 2 adults and a 1 year old... Not worth all the extra headache. Make sure you retrain your staff and throw in a class on customer service for your 'manager'. Very surprised at how my family's meal was considering we arrived around 8:30 PM on a Tuesday. Waiter was very attentive and brought out the yummy breads and butter. Even though we waited a bit, ALL our food came out hot and delicious which was unexpected being that it was late. My sone had kids meal with yummy cheeseburger with fresh fruit. Havent been to Outback since '09 because of horrible service but that was in GA. Decided to give it a shot since its been a while and in a different location......I will never go back. When my husband and I arrived we were told that they needed time to get a table ready but when we looked around it was hardly anyone in there. When our table was ready and we were seated, the lady that seated us came back and asked us to move to another table which we didnt know why. We ordered and was told they were out of mashed potatoes so we went with a baked one. In less than 5 minutes, the waitress came back and said they were out of baked potatoes as well so we went with mac and cheese. Finally got our food which was not hot, the mac and cheese was dry and bland, asparagus was over cooked and the chicken my husband ordered barely had seasoning. The tea seemed watered down and my son's chicken tenders looked over cooked as well. The only thing that was good was the waitress's hospitality and the steak. Overall this place is too overpriced to be receiving the experience we received. Save your money or take it elsewhere because this place is not worth it! read more

Went to this one in Lawton... my steak was not cooked, my coconut shrimp had raw batter inside, not once but twice. When I received the bill they did not give us a discount or offer to comp a dessert. I've had far less problems at my home Outback in Hurst, Texas and had my entire meal comped. Terrible experience. Started with a dirty bread plate, then our appetizer never came! After about 30 minutes, our waiter came and told us they ran out of mashed potatoes (but offered us baked potatoes ‍). Once our meal came, literally every steak was over cooked (I can handle a steak that's a little over or under, but these were waaaay over). Manager came over and offered to recook everything while we picked at the plates they already gave us. I should have sent the whole plate back because I found a hair in my baked potato.
