OUTBACK what happened? Bread, awful - warm, but was it microwaved? Butter even changed - not very sweet. BUT who needs that many carbs anyway. For years tables would order bread over and over, today bread just uneaten on the few tables we saw. We were there for lunch, portions underwhelming - and overcooked (which we never experienced before). Salad topping - so many thick spines of romaine and the toppings - dry not fresh tasting. My spouse ordered luncheon meatloaf, let's just say, buyer beware. The taste, just odd, texture dense, plated so unappealing!!! I could go on, but not worth the effort. Just expected to have a delicious lunch - the only thing that was delicious, fun, was reading the menu! Happy we were only there for lunch rather than an expensive dinner. Service was horrible. My family and I was sat at 9:15 and for the hour n half that we were there we only saw our server 4x. No check backs, we sat with glasses empty several times to where we had to ask someone to find our server. For a Saturday at a restaurant it wasn't that busy when we got there so you'd figure that the server would have more time to actually take care of his table but that wasn't the case. I have to say I was very impressed with this resturant!!! I didn't like Outback for a few years when I was younger. I thought the food was not great, the steaks would be dry and the service wasn't the best. However, this is the 2nd time I've been to Outback and I have to say the food was amazing!! I came here on a Sunday to meet up with someone, so while walking in the hostesses greeted me right away and even gave me the choice of choosing where I sit. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, very efficient and gave us some great suggestions on what to eat. Every time he came back to our table, he always had a smile although my friend asked him 50 million questions and had him running back and forth lol. It was just a great experience all around and Outback has definitely changed my perspective on dining there in the future! read more

Came in to our area outback, my wife ordered Tilapia which is normal, no real issue except, no color on the plate. I ordered the Steak House Philly sandwich with a Wedge salad. Salad presented well, I was eating with my eyes and no issue. The Steakhouse Philly arrived and it looked like a small burrito, on a very hot plate, wrapped in parchment paper. Talk about being disappointed and put off. Which corporate genius decided this is a menu item. If I was the cheap, I would kill myself sending out this mess. read more

I love Outback (as far as chain restaurants go)! I don't come to this particular one often but when I do it is always a good experience. The service and food are always great. Wife want the outback since it was local and we had a coupon which is always handy when taking the family out . I had the center cut sirloin which was cool to my liking but served cold ! My fries we're correct but cold too ! Wife had a salmon dish which she said was good but once again mashed potatoes were cold . We didn't see our server and it was late so we dealt with these issues . My daughters burger look and tastes like a hockey puck so she shared with us . This is probably my second time ever eating at an Outback and I'm honestly just not a fan. I did enjoy the drinks, but that is about it. I didn't eat, but my friend did. She ordered the bacon cheese fries and for her entree the bone-in rib eye mac & cheese and baked sweet potato. Now the appetizer came out in good time, but that entree... Maybe we were talking a lot, but I felt like it took too long for the food to come out. Ahe said it didn't come out the way she asked for it and it was a bit tough. And she didn't like the mac & cheese so she sent it back for grilled asparagus instead. Outback now delivers! While this should seem like an answer to my prayer because I love this place so much, it's more like a nightmare. My family orders delivery from here quite regularly, unfortunately every single time we order something is wrong or missing. For example, 75% of the time they do not include the ranch dressing with the cheese fries regardless of how many times we remind them at ordering. Lobster tails come without butter. Alice springs chicken comes without honey mustard. Sides are not included in the order. The list goes on. If you call back, they do bring you your missing items but for small things we normally do not bother making our experience less than ideal. This is a place I used to frequent when I lived nearby ...Since I was in the neighborhood I decided to drop in again ... The Outback Steakhouse menu has really changed for the better... There are a lot more choices and combinations to choose from .You can pretty much customize it to your liking by adding toppings like Sautéed Mushrooms, Grilled Shrimp etc.. Of course there's an added fee...They still have some of my old favorites like the Blooming Onion, Coconut Shrimp, Salmon and Steak...and the Wallaby Darby ( this is a signature drink.) I was seated immediately,by my hostess named Na'kyera L, she was very accommodating and friendly.... In the past I've always had to wait so it was a nice change..There is usually a long wait on weekends..... Outback does offer call ahead and you can put your name on the list for a specific time but usually there is still a minimal wait... This helps to really cut down on the wait time...or you can order and pickup.. Special parking spots for pickup only...( always recommend checking your order before leaving.) Once seated, I was greeted by a nice waiter named Nick... Nick was a very happy waiter....Extremely friendly , very knowledgeable,and very attentive. I found out he used to be in the Navy... Nick made me feel very welcomed. The one thing that always impresses me about this Outback is the staff here is very well trained. After looking over the menu I decided on the 12oz prime rib... I had a choice of two sides so I chose the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus ...I asked for rare prime rib and Nick my waiter made sure I got exactly that... My prime rib was tasty the Au Jus gravy gave extra flavor ... I really enjoyed my Garlic Mashed Potatoes, they were really creamy and had a nice balance of butter cream ,and garlic ... My Grilled Asparagus ... was cooked perfectly not mushy.... For my drink I ordered the Raspberry ice tea it was really good... I didn't even have to ask for a refill, Nick was on top of it and brought me a second one.. My friend chose the Sesame Salad.. She got Grilled Salmon on top... The flavor of the salad was very good along with the salmon... I would've preferred that they made the salad more interesting by using different types of lettuce, maybe some kind of nuts like peanuts or slivered almonds etc. for added texture... The salad was a little to boring for my taste...but great flavor... I loved the warm Pumpernickel bread with butter that was served in the beginning of my meal. I have never left 1 star before. I love outback and the food was good. The problem was the service. I also have never left a bad tip but i did today. It was lunch time so know one was there. Our waiter seemed to be having a bad day. Seemed annoyed that we were even there. Lol... My son and i said to each other "its almost like he knows us and we did something bad to him". Love outback .. walked in on a Saturday night around 8 waited about 10 min an then me an husband were seated and bread was brought to the table in minutes ! This was our first time at this Outback and we will definitely be back the hospitality from Manager Felix along with Kyle the bartender superb service inviting and welcoming. Felix was very attentive to us and checked in on neighboring tables. The food and appetizers were delicious! We had the shrimp on the barbie as an appetizer one of the two entrées we had the Salmon & shrimp was moist and tasty, 2nd entree served to perfection was the fillet mignon with lobster garlic mashed potatoes & vegetables... scrumptious and seasoned to perfection. Felix was a hands on Manager who know to make customers feel welcomed and steps in to help with service and orders, he served us and checked in a few times along with Kyle. Great team work! So, we came in on a very busy Friday after our 5.5 hour drive became 8.5 hours. Met Scott at the front who got us a table so quickly and then won our hearts. Servers were crazy busy so he took our drinks and dinner order. Drinks is a flash, dinner shortly after. Checked on us and made us feel so relaxed. Unfortunately super underwhelmed with everything at this location and frankly feeling ill post-visit. Server had an excellent personality and we appreciated how she dealt with a problem table behind us. That's where the pleasantry stopped. For food, the appetizer came out after all the rest of our food. The Bloody Mary my husband ordered was so warm that we had to ask for an additional glass of ice. Both the men and women's bathrooms were really dirty and a server walked out past me in the restroom WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. Came here for my Mom's birthday with the rest of my nuclear family. We were greeted by the hostess and seated within 10-15 minutes. We just had to wait for them to clean off a table to accomidate our parties size. When we were seated, we were immediately asked about drinks and appetizers so, the staff was attentive. Pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. We went to Outback for a late night dinner and it was close to closing time. However the waitress was very nice and attentive providing hot fresh bread promptly. I ordered the full rack of ribs with French fries and my babe ordered the prime rib. The ribs were very tender, hot, and fresh as well as the fries. The prime rib was very juicy and flavorful. Went to this outback for the second time. I should have rated it when we went the first time and experience was fair enough to give a decent rating. I wish there was an option for separate ratings. Our waiter was good, very prompt and routine. However once a party of 4 older gentleman were seating behind my husbands booth, (our daughter and I on the other side) it all went down hill. They seemed to have been moved from the bar to a booth. Their food was already at the booth when they sat down. They seemed to regulars.. right away they starting carrying on. Insulting other waitresses under their breath, talking loudly amongst each other about other women in a profane, DISGUSTING WAY. They went as far as making a bet amongst two of them that went something like this: "I'll give you $100 and pay your hospital bill if you go over there and tell that guy he's a lucky guy". I assume they were referring to the gentleman's wife. My husband nor I turned around to see exactly which other party they were referring to..This carried on for about 20 more mins, with additional insults amongst each other about other patrons In the restaurant. Their waitress stopped by to check on them, with another tables desert in her hand and when one of the men asked what it was she quickly put it on the table and said "here, take it", and explained to them what it was. By this time, we received our food (I had to send mine back because it was a bit too rare for me but it was no big deal). Our waiter was very understanding. The men behind us continued to carry on, until a few bites into our meal when they were asking for the check to leave. My husband over heard their waitress come back and say something along the lines of "the bill is $160, so you gonna walk out on it or give me a tip". One of the gentleman went as far as saying "just the tip". And she agreed. At this point my husband had enough. We asked our waiter for boxes and we packed up our food which we barely touched anything. We didn't have the time nor way it the setting to ask for a manager as we were with our toddler daughter. This was the absolute WORST experience at any restaurant by far. We will never be back to ANY OUTBACK.
