    This what I ordered

This takes the poor to go service to a new low. I have had many problems ordering from this location but never bad enough to review it but please see the pictures. They actually gave me some else's leftover food while the rest of the food was cold. Worse yet it's not close to my house and I had to go back. Edit: now that I've returned with the first dish made up I got to look at the second and sadly the 18oz steak was literally fat as you'll see in the picture. Look the staff was nice but this is inexcusable for a dish they charge $40 for

They cook a perfect chain steak everytime. It's science. I don't get the low reviews. The duo at the bar were amazing. Quick to take my take away order and get me a cocktail. We got filet & pasta. 4.0/5.0 Pork chops 4.5/5.0 Loaded taters 4.0/5.0 Asparagus 4.0/5.0 Salads with bleu cheese 5.0/5.0 Brownie cake 5.0/5.0 Staff were 5.0/5.0 I got take away and tipped 30%. We will be back.

I happen to like Outback. I normally have a great meal. The service was kind of slow. We must have sat at our seats for about 10 minutes before anyone came to speak to us. The place was not packed, which is why I was a bit annoyed by the slow service. Once my meal came, it was ok. The lobster tail was amazing!!! My prime rib was not so much. The meat was flavorful and butter tender, but by the time i was done, my 12 oz steak wound up being about 7 oz edible meat. 40% of it was fat. My wife loved her steak but mentioned that her shrimp was dry and tasted old. I gave a 3 because of my past experiences, but honestly, I could go 2 stars.

Was seated quickly and waitstaff was on point and the food was very good. Will definitely go again.

Our groups cocktail fav for the night: the Smokey Old Fashioned.

We had a terrific time with friends, great food, and drinks... the Smokey Old Fashioned was a group fav! A special thanks to the Outback's proprietor, Scott Villari, for his above-and-beyond hospitality. The great variety of hot appetizers and salad were absolutely delicious. Scott truly went the extra mile with the help of his awesome staff. As the coordinator seeking a venue for our group of 20 neighbors to gather for a casual meet-and-greet with cocktails and conversation, I'm filled with nothing but gratitude and praise. We'll be back!

Food was great ! The Steak was well made with good flavor. The French onion soup was amazing, one of the best I've ever had, the cheese was perfect and there was so much flavor and great size for a side. The service was ok, we called ahead to reserve a table but still had to wait 20 minutes. But our waitress was really nice and fast. The vibe was great, very welcoming and a nice spot for a quick family dinner.

Came here for a quick family lunch because I had a gift card for this restaurant. Definitely not a fancy steakhouse. Place is casual and a bit dingy, like many chain restaurants. They serve tall mugs of ice cold beer for just $5, which hit the spot on a hot summer day. Waiter was nice but didn't offer much assistance with the menu. Expected us to know exactly what potato and sides options there were and didn't try to explain anything more than was directly asked. They serve complimentary warm wheat bread and whipped butter which was comparable to Cheesecake Factory - quite good. Steaks all came out perfectly cooked, tender, and nicely seasoned. Broccoli was fine but the zucchini and carrots tasted old / frozen. The potato sides were tasty but were all loaded with butter - wish I knew that so I could ask them to put the butter on the side or hold it all together. Prices are quite reasonable. Overall, probably wouldn't go back but it's not a bad option if you're hungry and in the area or just looking for an affordable steak night.

Despite the moderately upscale ambiance and clean, contemporary aesthetic, the emptiness made us wonder: did we miss a memo? Was there a sudden local embargo on Mediterranean food? Luckily, the dining room eventually filled up, saving us from eating our dinner in a complete echo chamber. My dining companion and I started off with the Hummus appetizer ($11) served with a modest side of toasted pita. It was tasty and definitely hit the spot. We both decided to keep things light and ordered salads with a side of grilled salmon. I went with the Marouli salad ($16) -- crisp romaine lettuce, dill, and scallions with a lemon-olive oil dressing -- and my companion chose the Greek Village salad ($19), a shepherd-style salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, Holland peppers, feta cheese, olives, and Greek dressing. Both were fresh, well-prepared, and hit the mark. The salmon was also delicious, which is a good thing, because it came with an $18 upcharge that was not listed on the printed menu. For dessert, we ordered the baklava ($13), three pieces of an already intensely sweet treat that had apparently been subjected to an excessive dusting of powdered sugar. As for the service, our server and the food runners were competent but not overly friendly towards us or other diners. I also noticed that the staff tended to take care of tables out of order in which they were seated.. resulting in diners who arrived after us being served before us. Overall, it's a perfectly fine 3-star experience. I'd gladly go back if someone else was picking the spot, but if I'm the one in charge of dinner plans, I'll probably cast my net elsewhere in the area. PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home or stop at the Wine Shop liquor store located on the opposite corner of the intersection of Main Street and Millburn Avenue for some adult beverages to enjoy with your meal. EVOO & Lemon is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: EVOO & Lemon does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking and municipal lots nearby. Use the mPay2Park app for the pay-by-plate meters ($0.50 per hour). Meters operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm; all street meters are free after 7 pm and all day Sunday. If the street is full, the Essex Street parking deck (24 Lackawanna Place) is a reliable backup.

Fortunately, I can say not much has changed. * Inviting atmosphere, a nice tone for a "casual formal" meal - low lit but not overly elegant. * Prompt and friendly service, refilling water whenever requested. * I asked, they delivered: refills on bread and garlic bulbs if you wish. Back in the day, we'd get a bunch of garlic pastas and entrees to pass around. The only caveat: no garlic desserts. I've had garlic ice cream before at garlic festivals. It can be done, Rose. Make it so. The verdict: Make sure to invite the whole family, otherwise you'll be sitting alone for a few days.
