Ugh! I don't know why I keep doing this to myself. Outback's food is just so mid as the kids would say! Which is sad because, at this location, the service is amazing. I was getting my car serviced around lunchtime at the dealership next-door and thought, "Why not? I'll swing in and have a quick and easy lunch." I got a wedge salad and a hamburger. The hamburger was actually pretty good. The wedge had all the components correct but it was just so much lettuce. I love a wedge! I get them anytime I can. They just need to edit this one a little bit. $22 with tip. They also have a military and first responder discount, which is fantastic! I'm sure I'll be back because my wife loves a blooming onion, but I'm not going out of the way to come back myself. That's not reflective of this outback by the way. We had a pleasant dining experience on Saturday evening. We came pretty early, around 5pm and the parking lot was a lot more full than we expected. Our wait was only about 20 mins, and the weather was lovely so we didn't mind at all. They have a nice outdoor seating area with music playing. Once we were seated, our waitress was there right away to take our drink orders. I have to give a special shoutout to our server, Amanda, for being fantastic in every way and going above and beyond for us! She was super friendly and consistently attentive. We had a gift card, and when she noticed it was a special kind, she stopped to offer us guidance on how to use it which was extremely helpful. She noticed us struggling before we even had a chance to ask her for assistance. As for our meal, we started with the bloomin' onion (duh) which is always great, and of course the rye bread. I ordered a new menu item, the chimichurri filet which comes with bloomin onions and 2 sides. I had a loaded baked potato and house salad. Everything was exceptional, my steak was cooked perfectly! I ordered the Grilled chicken Caesar salad because like most it comes with Croutons unless otherwise stated. I know that it comes with Croutons because I ordered it once before and it came with them. I thought it was pretty good. I ordered to go and spent $30.94 to get home and it wasn't a good salad. It has a shrimp taste although I didn't order shrimp. I also ordered the fried onion which I never tasted before which was soggy rather than crispy I am a foodie and the question is would I suggest this location in the future, is No! First time at this particular Outback and first time at the chain for a few years. Easy to find, thanks to GPS. The building is nice and the parking lot good. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and sat promptly for lunch, busier in a Saturday than I thought it would be though. Both the waitress and the good runner were lovely, helpful young ladies. We were served our warm bread and drinks almost immediately. Started off with the Blooming Onion, my personal favorite. It came out piping hot, crisp, and oh so good. My side salad was next, heavy on the dressing, but the tomatoes, cucumbers, and other items were crisp and fresh. My husband had the Kingsland Pasta (steak & shrimp on Fettuccine Alfredo. The spicy shrimp & steak were cooked nicely, and pasta & sauce were very good. (An herbal butter sauce was served with this dish. Not really needed.) I had the 8 oz. center cut sirloin, cooked to a lovely medium rare. Tender and juicy, I loved every bite. My loaded baked potato was just as enjoyable. Went today for my grandfathers birthday celebration. Food was exceptional, steak cooked perfectly. Most of all the service was top tier. Our waitress, Alexa was very attentive and constantly checked in on us while attending several other tables. I got here ahead of the crowd. The dining area was very clean and tidy. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. As much as i go somewhere for the food quality, i also take into consideration the service. You can great food and poor service and it diminishes the experience. So ordered the coconut shrimp for dinner and when my wife's food showed up waitress told me don't shoot the messenger, but we don't have any OK no problem. I understand things happen So I ordered the tuna my wife's completely done eating and I get the tuna. I just stopped by this Outback Steakhouse for lunch and with it being a chain not thinking very much if it but I was surprised. The place is really big with a pleasant décor and comfortable atmosphere about it. I was immediately greeted, taken to a booth seat and introduced to a young lady who, as a waitress, was a true professional. As I had already made my mind up to have a steak so I couldn't have been more delighted than to see that their special was a 6 ounces center cut sirloin. Then, it came paired with their "Aussie Fries" and a 16 ounce domestic beer, all at $9.99 which to me was an amazing bargain. When served the steak was perfect as order, had a good solid meat flavor enhanced with reasonable season. We stopped at this outback on our trip to Florida last night. I had the barrel cut 6 0z. Filet with mushrooms and salad, he had Prime rib with salad, mushrooms and onions and asparagus. Our food was absolutely delicious. The service was great. When we walked out to the RV, we had a flat. I called the restaurant to tell them we would be in the parking lot for a while. Consistency is key with a franchise. Thank you Outback for being able to provide that when you need lunch close to the interstate. Mom and I had the Alice Springs Chicken cooked perfectly. Mom had the veggies with a generous portion of perfectly cooked zucchini, squash and carrots that she could not finish but had no seasoning or flavor. I went with the house salad with blue cheese. Always fresh, a plentiful portion with the best croutons. Dad had the grilled shrimp which were small, over cooked and looked strange served on a thin slice of their bread that is served complimentary. His side of potato soup was generous and delicious, a nice topping of cheese and made up for the pitiful serving of over cooked shrimp. All our food came out quickly and was plated well except the grilled shrimp. Our server was kind, attentive and made sure to keep our tea topped off and offered tea to go. The hostess was very nice and friendly. The bathrooms, parking lot and restaurant were clean. Have been here for dinner several times but they recently opened for lunch. Decided to try lunch one day about two weeks ago and was pleased with what I found. Not everyone realizes that they are now open for lunch so it is not crowded. Staffing in in accord with number of patrons which shows good management but at the same time, is more than adequate to meet the flow. Walked in and promptly seated. Server was excellent and continued to periodically check in with me through out lunch. Very attentive. Looking at the menu, chose the Crispy Chicken Sandwich along with my customary tea. Out in about 10 minutes which is about right and it was very good. Not excellent but much better than what I expected. Turned out to be a great lunch experience and I recommend to anyone. read more

Ordered delivery-my food was ice cold, not a shred of heat! I followed my UberEats driver online. He was fast. My steak, while a good cut, was over cooked, the smear of butter and cinnamon for my "everything" sweet potato was a joke, and my blue cheese chopped salad which I paid extra for was laughable, just bagged grocery store iceberg lettuce with almost no blue cheese on it and no There was nothing "chopped" or special about it. I was in Statesville for work and this restaurant was closest to my hotel. I had not been to an Outback in years, but decided that efficiency was more important than exploring for local restaurants. I went here on two consecutive nights for dinner. Each time I ordered ridiculously cheap 22 ounce draft beers that were $5.75 each. Where I'm from, one 12 ounce beer costs more than that. Each time I also ordered the house salad and found it average, but with a little too much dressing. Service was good on both nights. My first night I ordered a teriyaki grilled salmon filet (forget what outback called it). The salmon was very good. It was well cooked and flavorful. It came with a side of steamed vegetables, which were good. The second night I ordered NY strip steak. I liked this meal less than the salmon. The steak contained a lot of inedible gristle to the point where it was hard to cut, let alone eat. This seems to be happening more and more frequently at steak restaurants recently. I am willing to deal with fat in a steak, which it is supposed to have, but inedible gristle bothers me. As a result I was only able to eat about half of the steak. What I could eat was properly cooked to medium rare and well seasoned. The steak came with a side of dirty garlic mashed potatoes. I just got the 8 ounce sirloin with a side salad and broccoli. The steak was cooked MEDIUM RARE but was so tough, I could not eat it. I have video of trying to cut it with my sharp knife plus a bite that I chewed but was never able to chew up. You have the most fun at the bar. The bartenders aim to please and they always do. The food is great. It does get busy on the weekends but that means people are willing to wait for their spot there.
