Honestly for a good steak at a better price you would be better off to head over to Golden Corral and get unlimited steak which is not like the Outback low grade steak. The waitress we had was very very attentive and sweet. The food was very disappointing though. Back at my parents' place in WI, they have a new outback so the food has been very good. But this place was a huge disappointment. My mother and I shared a salad and a BBQ rib/chicken breast combo. The salad was literally DRENCHED in dressing and the chicken was a piece of salt crusted nastiness. It was inedible. When we told the waitress, she quickly apologized and offered to give us a new entree. We refused then she offered us dessert. Tonight was the first time my wife and I ever ordered from Outback and it was meh. I love a good slab of ribs but the ones I got were tough to chew, to pull apart, and really were pretty lacking in flavor. I've had worse for sure, but I probably won't try them from here again. The bloomin onion I've always heard about was likewise just meh. The dipping sauce to us was gross but the onion would have been good if it wasn't quite as greasy. My wife got a shrimp pasta that she said was good, it just had an excessive amount of pepper in it. The Staff seemed nice enough, the sweet potato was phenomenal, and my daughter liked her veggies and Mac n Cheese. I probably won't eat here again myself, it's just too expensive for food I could have mostly gotten better elsewhere. read more

As you can probably tell I kinda love this brand.I stopped by twice recently at Twin Falls location and it was , well ... it was OK. I had an impression , that portion of blooming onions was slightly smaller ,than at other locations and overall the quality of service was not bad , but the quality of food was barely Ok. Last time my wife complained about the quality of her salad , this time she was Ok with her food, but I was not very impressed with mine.Our waitress was nice and we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks, but my salad lacked ranch , I can take care of my heart health myself, if I order salad with ranch I expect more than 3 squirts of it. Also for steaks, common gradations include rare, medium rare, medium, medium well and well done.Even before the last time I had an impression that my steak was more well done , than how I ordered it.I never eat my steaks well done.This time it was completely dried out. So if you still insist on dining at their Twin location I suggest you abstain from ordering salads and go with some kind of a meat , which should always come well done like chicken f.e.But , of course it does not matter if you pour some Australian wine , beer or good old whiskey to make your food taste even better. Their hours are much better , than the week end hours of the most restaurants in Poky though. I was not satisfied at all. I have visited this location twice now, and ended up creating a yelp account for the primary reason of warning people: do not waste your money here! Smells like urine (on both occasions I visited, even though they were a year apart). Overpriced for the low-quality food. First visit the steak was dry and bland. Second visit the soup was gelatin-y and the salad was bitter with old, wilting lettuce. Also, on both occasions I ended up sick to my stomach the night after I visited. The servers seemed like they didn't care about the customers or our experience in the restaurant. This is the nastiest place to eat in twin falls. The first time I tried it I got steak and lobster....it was an absolute joke. My wife and I decided to give it another chance and tried it again we both were very disappointed. We were so excited to eat here today. My husband found out they have the bloomin onion which he used to love at Chili's until they took it off the menu. We got there and there were only a few people at tables. There was a large party that was waiting for a table in front of us. We stood to the side waiting. And stood there. No one greeted us, no one said they would be right with us, it was as if we were invisible. Ate here recently and it was a TWO+ hour dinner. Waited for 45 minutes to get seated. Another similar-sized group was seated before us when they loudly said they would pinch their babies to make them cry if they got seated soon. Guess that works. Eventually were the very last people seated despite being the first there. The waitress messed up the food order. Those who ordered soda never had their drinks refilled and waters weren't refilled until after half the table was finished with their meals. It was also the first time the waitress checked on the food. One of the steaks was bad. On top of it being cooked poorly, it was obviously a bad cut of meat. First time to have a piece of meat that was so bad it was inedible. The waitress said she had to call a manager over. The manager was borderline condescending. A new steak finally arrives but at this point the entire table is finished with their mediocre food, cold from sitting under a fan (it was 10 degrees outside and they have a fan blowing inside) and more than ready to leave. This is when the waitress comes over and comments how 'nice and cool' our table feels (three people are now in their coats). Then, in a serious and whispered tone, tells us that she likes to have less tables than other waitresses so she can give more attention to each table instead of having more tables and getting more tips. I spent $30 a filet mignon. this was the worst cut I have ever seen, it was half as thick an a vain of fat through the center.the manager tried to sell me that this was a butterfly cut filet an the the one in picture was a lower ounce cut. I told her it was a vain of fat an watched it stretch apart. the fact that tried to BS me w/butterfly cut tell me she know it was a substitute piece of meat and I'll never eat ther again. I travel to Twin falls every month and this outback is really close to the hotel I stay in so I go here often. I have never had a problem dining in however I generally get something to go and eat in my hotel. I haven't done that once yet that there wasn't something wrong. Steak overcooked, missing items, missing ingredients. It's always something today was the last time I'll be going there. I ordered a pork porterhouse medium. It was pretty close to medium but old! The pork tasted old as though it had been sitting around for a week or so. The bread they gave me was so old, hard, and stale it was inedible. And to top it all off, no silverware. Not to mention that I waited for 10 minutes before anyone greeted me. I've managed restaurants for 25 years, I understand how things happen, but it's every single time!! Hostess was polite and quick to greet us. We were seated immediately on a Saturday night even though they were short a server. I asked for a water with my wine, no dice. Had to ask again. Water is almost a given, but thats okay. We ordered and then got a call from the hotel that our dogs were barking, so we asked for everything to go. When we got back to the hotel, quesadillas were missing. My Chopped Blue Cheese Pecan salad was NOT CHOPPED, just a basic salad with all the ingredients. The salad is completely different served chopped. I went back to get the quesadillas and there was NO apology, no refund offered, nothing. The Manager was right there. Terrible. We went here after a family gathering. My husband really Wanted to have a nice steak and we do go to Outbacks in other locations. We both ordered the filet mignon. He dug into his, but I took one bite, then another and realized I could not eat it. Recent health issues have changed my ability to eat certain foods and the peppered steak was just not going to go down. The waitress, Emily, came over and after we explained the problem- it really WASN'T the food, it was me- she offered a kids meal ribs with no sauce ( they brought it on the side, but it too was not going to work for me so I was glad it was on the side) The proprietor, Doug, came over and talked to us. I explained that , no we didn't want to send back my steak that we WOULD pay for it, that there was just a problem with ME eating it, and that my husband would probably finish it ( he did as he really enjoys the bold peppery flavor of the meat) Doug offered us the rib meal on the house which I thought was extremely generous given the situation. The kids ribs were just the right size and falling off the bone tender. I loved the garlic mashed potatoes and the steamed veggies that came with my original meal were just the right blend of al dente. Excellent customer service! I wound up leaving happy and for the first time in a long time FULL leaving a restaurant. GO there, they will treat you right! read more

Decided to stop here for dinner. We had been driving all day - left Boise this am to Salt Lake City this afternoon and we are now on our way back to Boise. We are currently seated waiting...it's 7:20 - was seated at 6:53. Waited until 7:15 to get water and an offer of bread. Was served our salad at 7:25 by the busboy - who just dumped the plates on the table and walked away. Didn't have enough dressing. Unfortunately was not able to ask server for more as she did not come to the table until we were finished. She was able to spend time at the table behind us - a group of people that appear to be locals. Got our steaks and veggies. The veggies were excellent. The steaks were meh and cold. So hungry we just wanted to eat and get the hell out of here. Went to the restroom - disgusting. Need to shower when I return to Boise. What sucks is that the service was just so bad! read more

I've been eating at Outback Steakhouses for very long time and used to love their choice of steaks. I've been noticing that as the menu prices go up, the quality and selection of food has gone down. Last night I ordered the "Bone-In" Ribeye, a 20oz $30 meal that you would think would be their Flagship steak. This steak was at least half fat and gristle, and it was tough despite asking for it to be cooked medium. I know ribeyes have fat (fat is flavor, right) but I've never seen one this bad. I think I was able to get may be 4-5 bites and then I was mad. Had the manager come over and he agreed that it was pretty fatty and said he would take care of it. He thought comping my wings and giving me a coupon for a bloomin onion would cover it....No way. I don't even like the onion and there was nothing wrong with the wings. Finally he came back and tried to make excuse that ribeyes have fat in them (I'm well aware of that), but this much is unacceptable. I told him the cook shouldn't even of served that, to which he said. The cook doesn't get to decide what he serves. Really, your last line of quality control has no say. You just serve what you have and the consumer needs to accept it. Sad, sad business model. Good bye Outback read more

I took my family to eat dinner just last week. Our server Millie made sure we had our bread (two loaves) and took our food order. I ordered the Aussie cheese fries and my wife ordered her steak as she always does which is well. Our food arrived hot and I noticed a couple of issues. One the Aussie Cheese Fries which were suppose to be a large order were kind of skimpy on the serving size. The second thing was my wife's steak was over done to the point it was leather. Upon ponting the steak out to Millie she quickly squerriled it away to the back and promised a fresh steak cooked right. After a short wait she arrived with a perfectly cooked steak and went on to tell us that she was going to give us dessert for our troubles. You may not thing this is unusual, but there was none of those looks you normally get when you send something back, there were no questioning our opinions of the food. Millie had a smile on her face and imediately took care of us. It was the SERVICE that so many resturants in our area can't match that had me overlooking the smaller than normal stack of Aussie Cheese fries on my plate. read more

Well today August 20th 2015 we went out to dinner at Outback in Twin Falls Idaho for our Anniversary. We ordered the 12oz prime rib dinner which cost $23.00. Well to say the least I was not happy with my order, my prime rib happened to be the end cut. I don't like the end cut and upon giving my steak back after the waitress took it back to get another one, the Cook took it upon himself and just trimmed it off. So I proceeded trim off some of it off as well, but then realized I was still not happy with the cut of the steak. So at this point I asked for the Manger. So the Waitress got the manager for me. I explained to the Manager by the name of Krista, that I was not happy with the prime rib cut, "she" then had the nerve to say well it look like you have eaten some of it. I had told her I had cut of a proration of the end cut; and did not eat any of it. I then proceeded to tell her that I'm still not happy with having the end cut. "She then went to say I like the end cut and most people do", that is when my husband said to her "well if you like the end cut maybe you should eat it. He also indicate to her that the potato soup only had (2) potato's in it, and he wasn't happy with it. I also asked her why the bake potatoes were so small, being in Idaho the land knowing for potato's why aren't they bigger, and she indicated to us that they sell them. We indicated that when paying $23.00 for a 120z prime rib, you should a good piece of meat, "not the end cut unless you ask for the end cut. The Manager was very rude, impolite and Snotty. We will no longer go to Outback after this. Your customer comes first regardless what you may think, they are the ones that can make your business or break your business. We went to dinner here tonight at 5:30 on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. Within the first minute, our server came to take our drink order. She was kind and very knowledgable about the menu. She offered us bread and butter while we waited for our appetizer. We chose the ahi tuna appetizer and it was perfectly prepared & delicious. As soon as we finished our appetizer, she brought my salad, which was fresh and tasty. Our steaks were brought out next and were cooked exactly as we had ordered them. The food exceeded our expectations, with the appetizer being the real star of the night. Our waitress visited our table appropriately throughout our meal, offering drink refills, condiments, etc as needed. We don't live in Twin Falls, but I would eat here if I was visiting in the future. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the prices were a little high for the portion size. The food and service was great! read more

My husband and I used to treat ourselves on a rare occasion to prime rib at this location . NEVER again. When we went, they had sold out of the day's prime rib but the waitress didn't bother to tell us until after we ordered and received our drinks and appetizer. When we proceed to order our entrees she then informs us they're out then tells us that she'll give us time to choose something else then walks away. We settled on rib eyes. When we finally get our meals, she tells us that they are out of mashed potatoes as well. Instead of waiting to bring our meals after they "nuked" more, she brings out my husband's full meal but my steak and only my steak. No apologies. After all was said and done, we spent over $70.... We aren't made of money and live from paycheck to paycheck so this experience was very disconcerting. We sent an email to the manager of the location and made her aware of what happened. We were hoping she would make things right but we only received empty promises that ended in her never returning emails and nothing made right. It's sheer principle. $70 that we will never spend there again. We will however go to their direct competitors. read more

We were driving through on a long trip and stopped here. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter suggested ways to get more for our money and adjusted the size of my drink when I saw that the standard size of the juice was more than I wanted. He was friendly and attentive without intruding upon our meal too often. The food was excellent and arrived quickly.
