This is a review for the curbside service. Tonight I ordered the ribeye with a baked potato. I clearly in my order specified no bacon. They gave me bacon bits in with my chives and cheese rendering those toppings inedible as I do not eat pork. That was a drag and also everything was not hot. I don't understand this because the food was ready 25 minutes after I ordered it, why do I feel like I had leftovers from lunch? This was supposed to be giving myself a rare treat, but instead I am angry at myself for getting this carelessly prepared lousy meal that is not like how I remember Outback Steakhouse. I will start by saying this: I hate chains and franchises and really will usually go out of my to avoid them 99.9% of the time. That being said, the Outback I go to gets a pass. This place is always clean, quick, and accurate. The waistaff is young, but they hustle and do a good job. I got seated immediately on a Saturday night even though it was busy. Our drinks, bread, and food all came out quick and was just as we ordered it. The waiter was an ace, and I never had a chance to ask for a refill on my drink as he seemed to fill it at just the right time. What else can I say? Everyone knows what the Outback is all about, and this is a good one. The 5th star is absent just because, like I said, I detest chains... PS - Another bonus is they have a GIANT parking lot. You never have to look too far for a spot. read more

A steakhouse that can't cook a steak properly. I ordered the Porterhouse medium rare. I received it well done. All brown inside. I begrudgingly sent it back. I received a second steak...well done again! I asked the assistant manager if their cook knows how to cook a steak. She explained to me that they use a machine to cook their steaks! Their menu has nice pictures of cook temperature. Medium rare is displayed as warm red center. My steak was fully brown inside devoid of flavor. Outback used to be a decent chain restaurant to get a good meal. It has now become the McDonalds of Steakhouses. So sad. I will never be back. read more

I was a regular at the Manhattan facility for a long time and always liked it. Fast forward 7 years to 2022. Currently, at best, the steak can only be described as mediocre. Stopped in to have what I call the Infamous ALICE SPRINGS Chicken while I was in the area, and upon entering was met with some of the most personable staff. Danielle was my 1st contact and treated me as I if I was a regular, just asked where Id like to sit and promptly accommodated me. Then comes Nicole and Danielle who both said they would take care of me together, and they most certainly did! I watched how everyone worked together....a real TEAM ! Even the person that brought me my entree was so Courteous in making sure I had everything I needed. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Talk about the Love....you want to feel as if you matter, and get a delicious meal to boot, please go visit this Outback! The restaurant is very classy and quiet. The food is amazing and close to our resort. They have a beautiful farmers market close by as well. They have 5 dollar drinks that are very fruity. It's been awhile since I've been back to an Outback because of a previous negative experience, but we wanted to use up a gift card we had so we stopped - and so glad we did! Hands down the BEST experience we've ever had! We were greeted and seated right away by this incredibly nice hostess, and were given a very spacious booth. The complimentary bread was beautifully crispy and warm and tasted sooo good. The steak was absolutely awesome, mashed potatoes really well done, and the salad was so fresh. We also sampled the premium Mac and cheese which is so good that it should be illegal to give such a big portion. The cherry on top for the evening was our server - Amy Ricotta - who was just the absolute best the whole time. Really quick, responsive, and friendly. She dealt with out indecision very well and is overall just a very nice down-to-earth person. (Side note: it was really hard to not make any cheese puns while writing this) I would HIGHLY recommend stopping by this Outback! read more

Came here recently and was quite disappointed to find out that they seem to have stopped using those little beeper thingies to let waiting patrons know when their tables are ready. Not too sure if this something new this particular location is trying, or if its a company-wide policy. Either way, big mistake. Without the beeper thingies, this is basically just an Australia-themed Applebee's, or Red Lobster (minus the lobster obviously). When I came here recently I was so upset about this that I could barely even taste the food. I simply nibbled on the free bread, nursed a glass of water and glared at the hostess until the experience was over. Next time I come here (if there's a next time), I will flat out refuse to give my phone number to the host/hostess. If I am not handed a cheap plastic box with a flashing red light and told to sit and wait on an uncomfortable wooden bench, I swear I will walk right out the god damn door and go eat at Ruby Tuesdays. read more

I asked them to hold the salt, instead the steak was so salty I had to dab it with a paper towel before it was even pleasant enough to eat. Even the steamed broccoli was very salty. I paid extra for garlic butter, but it was so salty I didn't end up eating it at all. The only pleasant part of the meal was the sweet potato, which they didn't add salt to. Visited after doing some Christmas shopping and we were starving. Parking lot was full so we were a little concerned with having to wait but luckily, place was busy but we didn't have to wait. Our server Amy, was a very sweet girl and very friendly. She was very attentive when we needed her. One great thing my husband pointed out was the food was brought out perfectly. I had an excellent time at the outback steakhouse this evening. i was politely greeted and served by a handsome and stunning young man named josh. excellent service from this stud of a man. i got the blooming chicken sandwich with the fries and it was absolutely delectable i think i might come back here every night to see josh and get that chicken sandwich. personally i think josh deserves a raise for being so handsome and kind and you should be happy that someone like this is on your workforce. 10/10 experience will definitely come back to visit josh. :) read more

Just ate here for dinner tonight. The place exceeded my expectations which is not common for a restaurant chain. Alexa our server was very friendly & attentive. The decor got a nice facelift since last time we ate here. Nicely polished but not over the top or pretentious. The beer I ordered was cold & fresh with a perfect head to compliment the Sam Adams IPA. Probably one of the best Sam Adams I have ever had & I've tried a lot of them. Our meals tasted good & were still hot which always concerns me on a busy Saturday night. The Bloomin Onion is still as good as I remember it. Maybe even better. Whoever was preparing & cooking them brought their A game tonight because we didn't leave behind a crumb. The cesar salad was swimming in dressing though which made it inedible. If you're looking for an upscale dining experience you're in the wrong place & their prices reflect that. They don't try to be something their not which is satisfying. All in all if this place continues to execute the way they did tonight I will have no problem passing up their competitive neighbor next door to visit this establishment again. read more

So what can you say about a chain restaurant? I can tell you that a dining experience here is as good as you can expect at the best Out backs out there. But what really sets this one apart is their management's dedication to top customer service. We have only ordered curbside for the last few years, but do so about 4-5 times a year with large orders. There was an issue where a couple of ordered items for the birthday girl were not in the bag in July when we got home, and they worked out a nice credit via the phone for the next time we called. Fast forward to my birthday, totally forgot about that credit for Outback, but even though they don't usually take a coupon when a credit has been used, management did and our meal was incredibly reduced. Came here for dinner with the fam, we started off with a bottle of chardonnay and chicken bites for apps. My parents got the regular grilled salmon whereas i got the bacon bourbon salmon. My siblings got two different kinds of burgers. We all enjoyed our plates, the food was really good honestly. I haven't been to Outback in a really long time but I must say, this restaurant is stellar. I came here for a planned event and I wasn't disappointed. We had a sampler of many menu items and everything was really tasty. We started the night off with the steakhouse quesadilla and the bloomin' onion. Both were really incredible. The signature sauce gives it the right amount of kick too. Then I sampled the baby back ribs and I must say, the sauce on the rib was spot in! Sticky and sweet. Just perfect. These ribs were so tender that the meat just fell right off the bone. We also tried a new menu item, the Toowoomba shrimp topped Salmon and it was simply divine. The salmon was rich and velvety served with a creamy sauce topped with shrimp and mushrooms. Just when you think you are done, out came 3 different types of ribs on a platter, a rack of BBQ ribs (my fav), honey sriracha, and one with a dry rub. All I can say is Wow! Absolutely delish!! I will definitely return to try new menu items because each meal seems to be better than the last one. II can't say enough about Mark (manager) and his awesome staff. They were knowledgeable, attentive and most of all very personable. They really added a positive spin to the dining experience. I shall return! read more

Wow! Outback has really improved the quality of food and service since I last visited about 6 years ago. Make sure you try their new menu! Steakhouse Quesadillas are out of this world, 3 Point Rib Bloom is delicious (Blooming Onion stacked with cheese fries and topped with BBQ ribs). The Steak Salad is delicious. I had it without steak bc I was eating a full course meal... It has blue cheese, candies pecans, mixed greens, thin crunchy noodles in a vinaigrette - very yummy. We were then served a Salmon with Mushrooms and Shrimp in a creamy sauce. I am not a Salmon person, at all, but I did sample it and liked what I tasted! The sliced steak (which I believe was the Center Cut Sirloin) the steak was cooked to perfection, was seasoned perfectly and melted in my mouth. The 3 different ribs I sampled were all delicious: BBQ, Dry Rub and Honey Sriracha.. Warning!! The Sriracha sauce is hot! For dessert we all were served the Mini Dessert Parfait which was Oreo Cookie pieces mixed with Chocolate Pudding, Chocolate Syrup and topped with Whipped Cream, Chocolate Syrup and Cookie Crumbles. Mark and his team were on the ball with everything heh served us. As they put the plates down they even informed us on each plate. I felt like I was a judge on food network star! I have never seen a more rude or obnoxious waitress than Allison at this restaurant. My wife asked her for a glass of water 3 times and finally we got water. At that point she refused to serve us and went about her shift happily chatting with the other customers. The rest of the staff were extremely nice to us because they know how rude she was. I did get a survey after I left that didn't seem to amount anything so I figured I'd put it here and suggest if you go there make sure you don't get her. read more

Love going here, one of my faves, HOWEVER, the music is so awful I actually hesitate going, and we're there sometimes once a week! Know your demographic. Lunchtime till at least 8pm, that I know of, the age group is 40s and up and families. The music played is so NOT conducive to a relaxing meal after work. Ambiance needs serious work. This restaurant is by far one of the best franchise restaurants in the area. The management and wait staff are very friendly and attentive. It feels more like a mom and pop restaurant where the owner knows your name and employees remember your face rather than a big chain restaurant. It's the little things that the staff does that sets them apart. For example, holding the doors when we come in and leave. I've seen the owner cleaning tables a few times. It shows that he takes pride in his restaurant and helps out in all aspect of the business. As for the food, the chicken wings are delicious, the steak is always cooked perfectly to my request, and the kids chicken fingers are very flavorful. The dry rub ribs are tender and delicious as well. The drinks are also very good and the portions for drinks and food are generous. Only reason I am not giving this restaurant five stars is because the last two times, the servers forgot to add my visit to my rewards program which is a bit annoying because I've been to this specific outback over 5-6 times and I still don't qualify for their customer discount since the wait staff never registered my visits.
