Noah was right on time and cooked the best low country boil for our friends gathering. The food was fresh and delicious. We loved their unique cocktail sauce (it can be purchased at their business) and they also provided fresh drawn butter. We were not advised of 2 additional people show up and one with allergies. Noah was quick to accommodate our situation and made the meal so special for us. He cleaned up quickly, put leftovers in a container for tomorrow and took the trash with him! Delicious, generous portions, and easy to order, pickup and cook. And you get a souvenir pot. All the seafood in the boil tastes fresh and flavorful, and the spicy sausages are a nice addition. We upgraded to a boil with crab, clams and mussels, turns out our toddler can eat basically an entire crab by herself, but the rest of the boil (we placed an order for 2) was plenty for the parents. We added corn bread muffins, which were very sweet, boil beer, which was a nice beachy pilsner, and an entire giant key lime pie, which was a delicious citrus. read more

We tried your business for the first time. Even though the food was very tasty we were a bit dismayed by the quantity. If we hadn't had appetizers prior and a pre-made lasagna to go with, there would not have been enough for us all. I had also asked for a milder sausage to be subbed out and was assured it would be. We ordered clams for four people. Nine dollars for a 1/4 cup of shellfish was not what we were expecting at all. Needless to say they were no 'leftovers'. The thing most surprising was that Daryl brought his young daughter with him and she was looking for a playmate. She proceeded to ask for our wifi, and then do several cart wheels next to the dining table. This was supposed to be a feast night and I was embarrassed by the main offering. Great boil last night! The company comes to your house/rental and cooks the seafood in his mobile kitchen. He then transports it to your dining room and dumps it on your tables. In coming to the Outer Banks for 28+ years, this was something we had always wanted to do but had never gotten the chance to try till this year for my father's 78th birthday surprise - it was worth the wait and more! We went with the catered option because the value was great for the price point and was a bit of a cooking reprieve for the rest of us - they bring it to you, they set up, they cook, they entertain (shout out to Josh for being awesome and for the cool stories and laughs - you rock), they serve the fresh hot food, and even clean up and bag the leftovers (which you most definitely will have)! What an awesome experience. As a family who mostly works in the food and hospitality industry ourselves, this really knocked even our old socks off! The birthday boy has been raving about the experience ever since. Not only was everything delicious (highly recommend the scallops which were the perfect combo of sweet and fresh), but we had a ton of fun! Highly recommend. Bottom line: In coming to this beach for decades now, we have seen a lot of places come and go. We have our favorites and visit our old restauranteur friends every time we're here, but this year we wanted to try something new and special. This was it. This is truly the ultimate seafood at the beach experience and probably our most delicious and memorable experience we have had in years. If you are on the fence, just do it, I promise you'll love it. Kirk came by on a rainy night, introduced himself, told us what to expect and invited us to watch and chat. It was a rainy night but he said he found a dry place to set up. Very pleasant guy and set up the table and brought the food by when it was cooked. Excellent quality! Shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage were excellent, we added on crab legs and (local) scallops. Scallops were outstanding, the sauces and seasonings were excellent. We also added on corn muffins (kids loved them) and 2 key lime pies. Wow. We hired outer banks boil company for a dinner at the house during our family beach vacation and couldn't have been more impressed. If you can, ask for Scott. He was an amazing cook and really allowed us to participate in all parts of the boil! We had food for 10 people and didn't come close to finishing it.
