I was looking for a really good rum and stopped in at the same time a tour was happening and they graciously let me join, even though I was late. I've been on quite a few distillery tours, but this was the most comprehensive, informative, and fun tour I've been on. Our tour guide, the owner, gave an extremely entertaining overview of different types of alcohol and the distilling process for each. The staff was extremely welcoming and appreciative of everyone visiting and went out of their way to make sure everyone had their questions answered. The tour ended with a tasting and there wasn't a single variation I didn't like. They specialize in whiskey and rum and emphasized how much pride they take in the quality of their product which is very obvious when tasting their product. Their liquor flavors are creative but not overwhelmingly sweet, smooth, and very clearly made with high quality ingredients. My favorite was the Moonshine which is a delightful combination of rum and whiskey. I've never tasted anything like it, but it's quickly become one of my favorite bottles that I'll repurchase for as long as they make it. They were also very knowledgable and helpful about everything in the gift shop and extremely patient with the dozens of questions I had. I also appreciate that they support other local businesses by selling their products in the gift shop. They sent everyone home with a shot glass and it was very clear everyone had a good time which was evident because everyone stayed well past when the tour being over. I only came here to purchase liquor, and did not attend a tour, but will update my review once I have! I do have to say that they seem to have a great product. I'm not a big drinker, but I bought and tried the spiced rum and it's quite delicious. The prices are also very reasonable, between about $24-$29 for any of their products (standard 750 ml). I'm very intrigued by the coffee rum, and would like to try that next time. They also carry regular rum, white whiskey, bourbon whiskey, and moonshine, along with various apparel and shot glasses. They currently have an offer on Groupon for a tour that ends up costing around $12.50 per person, and includes a T-shirt and shot glass. I believe their tasting is $6.00. I have some friends who did the tour and enjoyed everything. They said it is certainly not polished, it's more like a set up in someone's garage, but I think that makes it even more interesting to learn about. The woman who assisted me was very friendly, and there was also a gentleman that was getting ready to start a tour, and he seemed very nice as well. It is in a business park, so not the most convenient spot, but it's right off I-15, so no biggie. If you are interested in the process or just like checking out good liquor this is a great way to do that, and support a local business at the same time. I'll definitely be back. read more

The wife, dog, and I were out for some Saturday errands and we found ourself near here -- and they were open. I'm surprised how little I knew of them. They are too far under the radar. If you see this, come and see them. Unfortunately, at the moment, the State's new rules to "make it easier" to allow tastings is keeping them from being able to have tastings. That's par for the course when it comes to the legislature in our "Pretty Great State". You can call ahead to check because that should change shortly. I just bought some of the products and have enjoyed them after getting home. They are very fairly priced. Meeting Kirk and Denise was a joy. Kirk spent more time than necessary talking distilling and about the local distilling scene. Denise was kind enough the watch the dog, and then spent time visiting with my wife while I bored Kirk asking questions. read more

I cannot stress enough what a *gem* in Utah this place is!! Incredible small batch hand-crafted liquors made by a family business (I happened to be lucky enough to be 'unofficially' introduced by grabbing one of their bottles at a local state store) - plus, it's an actual distillery, which means they MAKE EVERYTHING THEMSELVES - from selecting each ingredient, to putting it right in the bottle with that cool wax seal (learned this thanks to their extremely interesting & educational tour of their crafting process!). $6 for a tasting - INCREDIBLE. Whether you grab one of their bottles at a local store or head to their brick-and-mortar location I'd recommend this high quality company to anyone & everyone!! I bought a Groupon to do a tour here and had a great time. It was extremely informative and really fun to learn about how all the different alcohols are brewed. You can pay for a sample and they are served in tiny little sacrament cups, hilarious! The owners are a married couple who recently got into distilling and it was motivating to hear how they went after their dream. During the tour, and afterward, I've purchase several bottles of their alcohol. The coffee rum is amazing! The rum is steeped in freshly roasted and ground Bad Ass Coffee, with no artificial coloring or preservatives, which is rare for a coffee rum. To the owners: I would recommend offering a throwback for people who have a hard time drinking alcohol straight. Just to have a sip in between samples. read more

I read that they make an award winning spiced rum, so we stopped in to buy a bottle. We ended up doing a full tasting and enjoyed all of the products. Dan, one of the distillers, gave us a great overview of the process while we tasted in the operations room of the distillery. Very fun and educational stop! I also appreciate that they truly do grain-to-glass distilling in Utah with a regulatory environment that's not exactly welcoming to small craft businesses as well. read more

We randomly stopped at the distillery after buying the Groupon. We spent 2 hours and a half talking with the owners. They are passionate and love talking details about the rum/whiskey/moonshine process. Small facility, very interesting to see the very start of a new business. He was very knowledgeable and kept everyone interested with his fun facts and stories. I was floored by the spiced rum!! It had loads of flavor and I would likely drink it for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, couldn't think of a better morning pick me up than the coffee rum. The owner said he wanted it to taste like black coffee and MAN did he hit the nail on the head!!!
