He walked me through all of the features, and let me know that they delivered. So perfectly convenient! I couldn't ask for more. Other stores wanted the entire balance paid months in advance, which felt pretty crazy given that ordering and delivery timelines had a five month spread. But because they ONLY sell appliances, their "small" stature soon grew to big when you consider the size of the appliance department with bigger stores. I have to say after my own frustrating search, I was not hopeful. I have a 100-year-old house with many restrictions, plus I don't want what most do: I don't want induction, I don't want convection, I want all electric, and I require a storage drawer. I wasn't finding ANYTHING like that (with perhaps the exception of an $6,000- $10,000 range) and held little hope. Oran Fine asked me if he could help. I had no idea just how much! He went right to work on it. I live close by, and had a tight schedule. So, I listed my needs, my budget (not big!), gave him my e-mail address and by the time I got home (10 minutes?) I had information from him. The PERFECT range for me. At a very good price. I was able to buy it through his e-mails, and when I told him the price of a refrigerator I wanted on sale at a Big Box store, he matched the price in both the appliance and warranty. Oran went so far as to check with me as to what type of outlet I had for my current range and when it wouldn't work with the new one he texted the specs and the actual picture of the plug and outlet it needed to my electrician. (Even my electrician was impressed!) He also got the length of the refrigerator power cord for me (who does that?) so I would know if that outlet also needed adjusting. The day of delivery I was given a 2-hour window, and then called with a "be there in 10 minutes" arrival time. The installers were FABULOUS. My house is hard. Lots of nooks and crannies and tight hallways and sharp turns and they did not let it deter them. They worked hard and efficiently and left everything in perfect order. I called Oran the next day to thank him and he said he would connect with his team and they would do all the warranty paperwork and send me the information for me to keep. WOW. Can you imagine a Big Box store doing all this???? SO pleased I went there. HUGELY better service, GREAT price match, and thinking through the whole process with you (as in texting specs to my electrician). Can't imagine going anywhere else for my next appliance need. I have already turned on one friend who was also impressed. She too had been on "the search." Now, with Oran's research and direction, her delivery arrives tomorrow! We contemplated a drive to Home Depot but decided to stop by MD Appliances to see what they might have available. Over ten years ago, we purchased a Wolf stove, SubZero refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher from MD Appliances and we never regretted it one bit. I still remember the installer, Jay, who did excellent work. We were greeted by the owner, Dan, and we informed him what we needed and he showed us the latest LG products in the showroom. It was an easy decision for us to make the purchase there. We placed our order and waited for delivery. I spoke to Dan when he gave me a delivery date which was today. He said his installers Guillermo and Arnold, would call a day prior with the delivery time, which they did and call 30 minutes before the delivery, which they did. Guillermo actually called earlier than expected due to a cancellation so we were able to get our appliances 4 hours early. Dan also said the installers were very good and that I should have no concerns. Well, he was wrong, Guillermo and Arnold were EXCELLENT!!! They were punctual, professional, friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. I fretted about how they would get our two old appliances out and the new appliances in our small washroom with a narrow doorway and up a small porch. Our home is over 100 years old so entrances are smaller than today's standards. Well after I showed Guillermo where the appliances were to be installed, he said it would be no problem. And it wasn't!!! They arrived at 9:30, completed their work, cleaned up and drove off at 10:30. I was truly amazed and impressed. I called Dan immediately to express my admiration and appreciation for these two polite and thoughtful men. Our experience with MD Appliances was a complete success and we are so pleased with our new washer and dryer. Kudos to Guillermo and Arnold for their pride in great customer service.

They didn't show up to deliver then scheduled the next delivery for 2 days later when I wasn't available. All phone calls are routed to the Philippines and no one was able to help me. I cancelled that order and went to MD Appliances. I went in feeling so angry and frustrated with this situation and was treated with such kindness, I left feeling so much better and I also left with a new washer/dryer! They were even able to arrange same day delivery because I live so close. Their prices are the same as the LG site. The store is very clean and welcoming. Definitely a high end appliance store but with reasonable prices. The delivery guys are GREAT too! Super professional, knowledgeable, and fast. My only regret with this whole experience is not looking to buy locally first.
