Well what can I say from American Chef Supply, this company is really family oriented and I cannot complain on anything I have done to my recent restaurant build out. Especially with the young handsome gentleman Cesar. My god this kid is a rockstar, he may seem young but knows his stuff and educated us on our buildout from the measurements of our cook line for what we needed under our hood, to providing us a good selection and breakdown in the different values of our equipment. I found exactly what I was looking for from Amazon, but I wanted to shop at a local business. I went to American Chef Supply and again found exactly what I was looking for - but left it on the shelf. I could not stand to be in the "showroom" for another minute. The stink of cigar smoke hits you the second you walk in the front door. The whole place stinks of cigar smoke. One of the staff members here named Brigham, should definitely be considered for a 'bump' in pay at his next employee review. Two years ago I bought an Everest freezer from American Chef Supply for the non-profit agency I work for (we provide housing, and meals to families experiencing homelessness). We even upgraded the electrical outlet it would be plugged into beforehand, to ensure the buildings electrical system wouldn't be compromised, and the unit would function properly. About a month ago it stopped freezing, and I called ACS to address the repair since it's still under warranty. When I described the issue they pointed me in the direction of Everest - the manufacturer, who basically did everything they could in my opinion to avoid sending a tech out to address the malfunctioning part (which also had a warranty), ultimately saying because the freezer was at a 'residential site', and assuming we don't get inspected by the health department like a restaurant they couldn't help us. Long-story-short, when I described to Brigham that we are a business, and that we get inspected several times a year by the health department, in addition to how unsatisfactory it was for us to have a really expensive appliance, with (2) in compliance warranties sitting idle, he went to bat for me. His advocating on my behalf with Everest on multiple occasions got the freezer repaired today. That level of customer service should not be taken for granted, and for that I'm am extremely appreciative. read more

Stopped by about a month ago to buy some knives and cutting boards and noticed that this place is any chefs dream. They provide all types of equipment and accessories for any kitchen whether restaurant, bakery, home, u name it! It was truly a great experience especially with the service these guys give as well. Prices were extremely reasonable and fair and I was able to get help from both David and Armen who were very knowledgable and professional about all the questions I had. great service , as soon as i called i was greeted with a positive and upbeat attitude immediately i felt comfortable with the woman on the phone which is a huge plus on customer service. My boss was extremely happy with me for finding what we were looking for at a much cheaper cost than restaurant depot . I am a caterer and these guys are my go to guys when it comes to my chef supplies, every time I walk in here I get treated like family, David and Norman are a great team when it comes to supplying us with what we need. Now I'm battling with the health department like most people and needed more advice than anything else. David was SO good with everything.
