Tried the chocolate martini and the eggs Benedict for breakfast. The eggs Benedict wasnt anything to write home about, but definitely wasn't bad! They had a good green hot sauce to go with the side potatoes, which was needed because they were very bland. With that being said, the Chocolate Martini was not good at all. It tasted like they made it with nesquik and had a nasty glaze around the top of the glass - would not recommend that drink. All in all, food was ok, but nothing special. This place is amazing! We loved the staff especially our server Tony and host Candlea. We made a reservation on OpenTable- it was not needed on a Tuesday at 5:30 the day after Christmas. By the time we left it was bustling. We brought our nearly 3 year old- the location and menu is not exactly kid friendly but we felt welcome- she happily munched on chips & guac and bacon (70 pesos each). This would be a great night spot- eclectic furniture and dimly lit with lots of cozy corners. It is gorgeous inside- exposed wood and top notch menus and branding. Happy hour was 2x1 and I enjoyed the Watermelon Farm Julip. The menu is tapas style. I loved the Carrot tostadas and Mini BLTs. The deviled eggs were spicy and outstanding. Our damage for 4 2x1 drinks (about $11 each) and 7-8 dishes including 20% tip was $77- which I thought was super reasonable. I can't wait to return for AYCE brunch this week- I will update when we go back. The food is so fun and whimsical. I will gladly return several times during my 2 week trip. read more

They had barely there diluted soap in their bathroom, which is how I suspect we got violent food poisoning that very night. Zero stars and completely unacceptable. Also, the server was visibly unhappy about us using the credit card to tip, so we chose to tip him with cash on top of the credit card tip. I never had this experience anywhere else here in Cabo where they deliberately pressure customers to tip with cash. Unethical. read more

We loved this place so much, we went 3 times during our one week stay. The atmosphere alone makes it worth your while even if you just want to grab a couple drinks. One day, for brunch, I asked for drinks and food based on the waiter's recommendations and was NOT disappointed. The smoked margarita flight was such a fun experience with unique crafted cocktails that look like they belong on the food network. Underwhelming..... Was excited to try this sister restaurant of flora farms hoping they've fixed their kitchen ops. Got there early and ahead of our reservations, they were nice enough to set it up early so we got some drinks at the bar while we waited. Drinks were good, I tried the flora farms favorites. Were recommended food by the bartender while we waited, he said tacos were what people came here for and he highly recommend it. Our tables were then set up, service was unimaginably slow, eventhough the main waiter had 2 or 3 helpers. They were out of shrimp, turns out we couldn't order the tacos eventhough the taco tray was on the dinner menu-very deceiving! And very disappointing! Food was ok.... nothing to write home about. Our group ordered the cheese plate, enquites, chicken burger, sea bass catch of the day, filet mignon, rib eye, octopus, and Panna cotta. Octopus was tough, panna cotta is not what you know it to be this is just straight up jello. Do not recommend, go elsewhere. read more

Oh my!!! This place was spectacular. We ordered the margarita trio. They weren't my favorite but it was fun to try & share with the rest of our group. Our server gave us some little avocado tostados on the house. They were yummy. Between the 4 of us we had the carbonara, chicken sandwich and the quinoa salad. All were very good. We used the Cabo passport card for a nice discount. We also had a magician come and give us a little entertainment at the table. LOVE this cute restaurant in the middle of town! We have been to Flora Farms several times in the past and this was a nice treat because the farm is so far from the Marina and our hotel, so we were not expecting to go on this trip. As we were walking through town, we were so excited to see they have opened up a smaller version in town. Same quality ingredients and adorable decor/setting. Food and drinks were incredible. Definitely pricier than a typical dinner, but it was a nice dinner to celebrate our anniversary. About $90 for two plates and drinks. Will definitely be back! read more

I don't want to be negative but will start out by saying maitre d said they just fired 2 cooks. So there was one cook in kitchen. We waited a loooong time for our food and it wasn't that busy. I was going to walk out when they asked me if I was ok. I explained our wait time was unacceptable. On the upside, they really wanted to make things right [hence the four stars]. They rushed on the food and brought over a few drinks on house. My beet salad was lovely. My daughter's steak was very good-extremely tender she said. Hubby had raw fish of the day- sea bass. It was just ok he said. I do not have pics because of my frustration. But they did make amends and REALLY try to make up for the blunder. So customer service was over the top. read more

We all shared one of the tasting trios of the Flora Farms margaritas. Hisbiscus, Coconut, and Charcoal. Great presentation and mixology. The Coconut was the fav of the table. I personally witnessed our drinks sitting on bar for 10 minutes without being served to us. The food quality and presentation was excellent but was served to us stone cold. I suspect it sat in the kitchen waiting on the waiter. The music was loud and continuously cut in and out. It was very annoying, no attempt to moderate the impact. There was no obvious management, quality control or expediting. This was our fourth visit and last. Too bad. read more

This is our second time at Outpost - and again the food was delicious. We had the citrus ceviche which was very unique - much bigger chunks than I am used to, felt more like a salad - but it was very tasty. We had the carbonara and the OP Burger. Both were very good - potato wedges could have been cooked longer - but still tasty. The churro dessert was yummy. But the true star of the show was the Passion Margarita - we had to order another, they were that good! Regina our server was delightful - and we were asked by several other staff through out the meal if we needed anything. Excellent dinner, though Pedregal-level prices (which it's very close to.) The Mrs. and I came here for an early dinner. For starters we got the hibiscus taquitos which had innovative excellent, fresh ingredients, but fell short because it was simply too tart. It could have used something like an agave sauce to balance the acidity. I also got the tuna tartare/sushi style appetizer plate which is thinly sliced tuna arranged around the dish with a delicious lime squid-ink dark sauce/marinade in the middle. This was seasoned nicely with fresh tuna - yum. My main course was the duck breast which is served over a lentil and pasole (white hominy) bed and a curried puréed sauce. Delicious, nicely cooked duck breast with a crispy, salty fat skin that moistens the duck. I highly recommend you pair this with a glass of one of their Mexican red wine selections. This place is highly touted and I think it generally lives up to that reputation. The rooftop dining area is also lovely. Great dinner experience. read more

Literally: "Never judge a book by its cover". We went to this location because it looked cool. But as we say there reviewing the menu, we became concerned as the menu itself looked out of place- like something you would see at a generic take out place. With that we made the decision to have a drink and try someplace else. On the recommendation of Jorge, we tried the watermelon mojitos, and our intention was to bolt immediately after. Once we received and tried our drinks, our perceptions immediately changed. These were some of the best drinks we ever had. So we revisited the menu. We shared the spinach salad. My wife got the catch of the day, sea bass, and I got the chicken. It was the absolute most delicious, freshest, meal I can remember ever having. By the time we finished our dessert, this seasonal pumpkin treat, we were planning our next visit (next year). Lesson learned: Do not let the type of menu deter you. GO TO THE OUTPOST. read more

Brought my wife and mother in law here, this is a true experience with the organic ingredients of Cabo. The herbs, sauces, cocktails, and proteins are prepared in a way that makes you pause and think how far the Cabo food scene has come since this first rockstar planted his flag here on the spring break bar scene. Our server, Ray, walked us through the origin and recipe of every dish and drink. He explained how the origin or a dish came to be, and the mixology behind each drink. This is an adventure, albeit booze cruise for the foodie. We loved it so much that we came twice in three days. Make a reservation, ask for Ray, and enjoy the adventure. read more
