Great find off the main marina area -- much better than getting tugged at to eat or buy stuff in that strip. It's still close to the marina where the tenders drop off. We enjoyed a late afternoon snack of flat iron steak tacos and guacamole with chips. Both were very tasty. The service was good and we loved the outside eating area too. It was decorated with cacti and overall very nice. It was a quiet break from the cruise experience and the much louder touristy bars.
Because of the strong reviews for this Cabo restaurant, my brother and I made it a destination during our visit from the cruise ship, Ovation of the Seas. We found the service to be top-notch, the views from the upstairs patio to be worthwhile, and the food and drink to be good. As typical, it was a hot and sunny day in Cabo so my brother and I were tired and soaked in sweat from walking around. When we entered, we were greeted warmly by the manager/proprietor. When I asked if we could sit upstairs, he gave me a big smile with an accompanying 'Of Course'. After climbing some narrow stairs, we were greeted with a nice patio with umbrella shaded tables, overlooking the main street of Cabo. While we were looking over the menu, the same manager delivered to us 4 ice soaked towels to cool off. It felt really good putting it on the backs of our necks, and started our visit really well. We ended up getting three things. bottle of mineral water (138 pesos) - Cheese board (299 pesos per person) - Ritz crackers, green grapes, strawberries, different cheeses. Was a good way to munch when really not hungry. Margarita Trilogy (919 pesos) - three different full size (415 ml, mostly ice) of hibiscus, avocado, and black margarita. It was presented with a smoke show, and our server suggested we film it (which is what I did). All three were tasty...couldn't really taste any alcohol, which for my brother was what he wanted. It was a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of time to talk to our server. We stayed a bit longer than intended. Paying was easy. Tipping is easier with cash, but the server did an additional charge on the credit card for the amount that we wanted to give. I could definitely imagine how lively this location would be as the night progressed. That was the original plan (to visit a lot later in the day). DIdn't turn out that way, but still a good visit.
If there's one place you eat at in Cabo, let it please be this. Preferably dinner (though we went for lunch) because it's right outside the marina which gets so beautiful and lively at night. When we reached, there was an obvious heat wave going on and we all looked stroke prone. They graciously offered us the private seating room and blast the Ac on. They gave us a bday flan and accommodated all our vegan vegetarian and nut allergy restrictions. They know how to do avocados - avocado tempura taco will blow your mind, even as an avid avocado hater. So will the avo margarita. The hibiscus marg and the shrimp are next! We loved the vegetarian curry and rice, gently thai inspired but oh so flavorful. They have so many mocktail and beverage options. Their service is unbelievable. Go here. Now
Staying nearby (marina) and needed some lunch while waiting for our room to be available. Patio was nice and service was friendly and attentive. We started with the margarita trilogy, which comes with a smoke show. All were good but my favorite was the hibiscus mezcal. We had a bowl of ceviche for an appetizer which was fresh and bright. The salsa they bright with some chips was really good with the ceviche. We moved on to the pastor shrimp tacos and the short rib tacos. Both were tasty but the short rib was really really good. Definitely the winner. They were kind to bring a complimentary flan to celebrate my birthday. Nice touch!
Stopped in Cabo during our cruise and found the closest place with good reviews and it didn't disappoint! The front patio was very shady and a relief to from the humid Mexico sun. There were fans blowing on us and inside had A/C. Service from Alberto was fantastic! He gave us great recommendations and was extremely attentive. My favorite dishes: 5/5 Margarita Trio. The avocado margarita had coconut cream and it was so refreshing! Hubs loved the hibiscus with mezcal. The blackberry was also good. The presentation was phenomenal. 5/5 Esquites was prob one of my favorites 5/5 short rib tacos 5/5 catch of the day 3.5/5 shrimp tacos 3/5 guacamole 3/5 aqua chile Will return for apps, drinks, AC and service!
We found this place through trip advisor on our vacation stay. I was able to park my car near by and we were able to safely walk over to enjoy our dinner here. The ceviche was delicious and we had orders some tacos on the side - the grilled shrimp and a steak ones were really flavorful and was what I remembered. I did order the fllight of margaritas and they were huge. I thought they were going to be small but the glasses were huge and they were refreshing!! They have upstairs dining and like an organic garden upstairs. Very quiet and nice up there. The chef, owner and waiters were very hospitable and checked in on us frequently. I would def recommend this place!!!
Our favorite spot to go to when visiting Cabo! Whether it's for breakfast, smoothies, lunch, drinks, or dinner... you can't go wrong at the Outpost! Flora Farms level of cuisine and freshness without the long drive. All the cocktails here are refreshing and made with care. Their food captures the best flavors of Mexico and their staff is always friendly. Special thanks to Beto for always welcoming us. We look forward to visiting the Outpost every time we are in Cabo. Our last night in Cabo couldn't have ended on a better note. We had dinner at Outpost and it was truly exceptional. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, the creamed spinach was rich and comforting, and every drink we ordered was spot‑on. We sat on the rooftop around 6 PM while the sky was still light, and by the end of dinner the lights around us were glowing beautifully. The whole place was filled with laughter, conversation, and that relaxed Cabo energy. A must‑do when visiting.
The dude, sister and I came to the Outpost on 11/28/25. We stumbled upon this place and loved the ambiance so much greenery! The staff and owner was so fantastic. The hospitality was top tier. I was helped with my drink option which I opted for the passion fruit margarita and my goodness...food in Mexico is no other. The best cocktail in my life. It tasted real and didn't leave me sluggy. The vegetarian chilaquiles were out of this world! So fresh and flavorful. One of the best dishes I have ever had. The dude had some delicious drink with bacon. We were tended to really well. Chatted with the owner about this beautiful place and we really enjoyed ourselves. They take pride in the vegetarian options! Highly recommend. It was filling up when we came in too. Loved the decor. Food was delicious and fresh. Nothing tasted processed. We are coming back in April 13 to 21st so we will definitely be hitting this place up again!!! Can't wait!
It's a last night here in Cabo. We decided to try Outpost. We ordered the burrata salad to start it was amazing on fresh sourdough bread. Then got the pork chop it was cooked to perfection. The bartender made amazing drinks we loved the lavender martini. Don't even hesitate run to eat here. The place is also so pretty and the bar area is beautiful.
Cute spot in the heart of all things. The bathroom is very cool, check it out. The food is yummy but I would admit there are other spots with tastier options. We also didn't try dinner. Their smoothies are yummy but quite small. All fresh ingredients. The avocado toast was okay. Again, fresh but lacking something. We would try again. Maybe dinner. We also heard the drinks are great. Service was okay. Not too attentive and they weren't really busy but we were on the 2nd floor. Another couple was too and we also noticed their lack of attention.

Our server Rolando was excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The layout and ambiance is very chill with lots of potted plants and hipster decor with lights. Personally not a fan of the rosemary smoke on things, it looks cooler than it tastes. Maybe mesquite would be better or a dry ice trick that is flavorless? Presentation should not undermine flavor. Edit: on that last note, a dried inedible mushroom and piece of fresh rosemary does not belong on a margarita prepared in Mexico. focus on food/drink with flavor not food/drink for photos read more

Went here twice; once for brunch then again for dinner. Vegetarian friendly. Order the French toast for brunch and Veggie Curry or Veggie Burger was dinner. Brunch - 10/10 We sat outside because the decor was super cute for the daytime. Food and service both were amazing! Dinner - 10/10 it's a vibe! This place has such a cool vibe we loved the look the DJ was the perfect thing to make it feel fun! We had dinner here one night and it was soo flavorful we had to return for breakfast. I will say that every single item had this smoked flavor, including the margaritas. Over powering smoked taste was a bit much for my taste which is why I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars. On a perpetual quest for a particularly tasty and memorable Margarita through my many travels throughout Latin and Central America - I clearly met my match at a tucked away gem of a restaurant in Cabo, Mexico. After walking for miles while reading reviews looking for a place to eat, I found a recommendation for this place called Outpost. Just a stones throw away from the Tesoro resort. Farm to table, okay, they had me there. The ambience itself was completely different from all the other local typical taquerias, seafood on the wharf, traditional restaurants. Once you walk through the door you might feel you're in Cannes and not in Cabo. Rich colors, a great beat playing in the background. Textures and colors, rich setting of velvets and wood. Careful attention to detail. The menu often changes, everything is fresh including herbs growing along the back of the bar used to decorate each craft cocktail. A hip and knowledgeable staff led me to all my great choices. Everything was so great that I went back a second time. Met many regulars there, this hidden gem for locals "if you know you know" nodding heads as you enter. Hands down the handcrafted Margarita presentation cannot be matched anywhere! So beautiful that I tried three of the theatrical masterpieces over two days! See videos! You will not be disappointed! I live in Florida where the quest for a decent Margarita continues, never quite right. Outpost takes the global trophy ! Back to the food. The Sea Bass Ceviche with fresh citrus was so fantastic I was tempted to try it again but the staff convinced me to go with the home made Burrata and pesto toast the second night. Although these are both listed as appetizers they were good sized portions and I wanted to save room for dessert. Tried both the churros and the stuffed French toast. Definitely the French Toast turned heads as it was brought to the table. This restaurant is all about aesthetics and service and the food and craft cocktails tie it all together! Came to this place because I saw it on YouTube. I really liked the atmosphere and decorations. They grow their own garnishes and herbs. Their drinks are really pretty too. I loved the appetizer dip and chips. I'm rating 3 stars for this experience because I thought the tacos were a lot messier than normal, all of the tortillas fell apart as I was eating. They were definitely pretty looking, but I think there are better tasting, and cheaper tacos at the other restaurants in the area. We also had a weird misunderstanding with the manager, we asked for the check-in margarita that you get a voucher for from the Yelp app, but they gave us the $45 USD margarita flight. Luckily we didn't drink them and cleared up that we wanted the Yelp voucher margarita. They didn't know what it was though, and we never got it. read more

This is our new favorite spot in Cabo! Great vegan and vegetarian options. This is an offshoot do flora farms which we love! So happy that they have an outpost right in Cabo. The restaurant itself was decorated nicely and had a great vibe. Service was amazing here, came in for breakfast and our party of 6 was sat immediately. All the staff was super attentive and accommodating. We ordered the pancakes, chilaquiles, and the huevo rancheros; everything came out in a timely manner and tasted delicious. Woohoo, saving one of my favorite restaurants for my 50th Yelp review, more to come! Quality quality, their bite size goodies were really really delicious! Good presentation too! The mini burgers, the mango tuna tostaditas, petite smoked tuna tacos, all with fresh ingredients and savory flavorful secret sauce. Each of them was around 200 Peso each and the portion was really small so it will probably cost an arm and a leg if you want to eat those for dinner. Fortunately, they had a lunch special for 600 Peso all you can eat so that was a steal! I wish they have a restaurant like this in the Bay area! Since it's not happening, at least not yet, I will just fly to Cabo for outpost I guess! read more

QUICK NOTE - they have a reduced COVID menu, with no small bites. We had an excellent experience here! We came in for a later evening dinner, their complimentary valet took care of our car. The service was great, very friendly and knowledgeable, and despite having several couples around us we felt that they socially distanced very well and were very attentive. We had a great time with one of the waiters involving an ice bucket and magic tricks! The restaurant was also really cute, from the spiral staircase and the tree it is built around, to the herb garden, and a cute outdoor rooftop dining area. The food was amazing. We aren't big fans of modern cuisine in general, but the great reviews brought us in. We ordered so many great dishes - the smoked salad was amazing, as was the green civiche and the guacamole and caprese. For main dishes, we got the filet minion, shrimp pastor tacos, octopus, and young chicken, and everything was better than the last! Only complaint are, while the panna cotta dessert was amazing, the tres leches was only ok and the s'mores were not with $6, and several of their cocktails seemed somewhat overpriced. I love OUTPOST! This spot never disappoints, I got the gluten free pancakes that came with fresh fruit and it was amazing! I also got an iced coffee that I loved. The service and staff are always so friendly, nice and considerate! Alberto was our server today and he was very nice and attentive!
