I paid 7.50 for a 16oz yuzu tonic. It wasn't filled to the top. I guess they charge for the dehydrated lemon ( not yuzu) slice they use for garnish. If I want to overly critical of the drink itself, it's sour tonic coffee. But there was enough sweetness from the yuzu syrup to balance the bitterness of the espresso. I do not like the new sipper lids that they use. It feels like my two front teeth will hit the hole as I drink the coffee. No outlets along the circular bar seats. The atmosphere feels like a school study room rather than a cafe. So if you want to relax and talk with a friend, this is not the place to go. Ironically, my complaint is that they're too busy. Not like bustling busy, like squatter busy. These customers are in it for the long haul. I've been here before and me and my friend had to sit in the adjacent stairwell connecting the cafe to the offices of the plaza. If you're nostalgic for the cramped, anxious feeling of finals week in college, you'll feel right at home. The one shining spot of the cafe is the service. Well actually the tall girl with the hoodie was really nice and friendly. She has a mole near her cheek. The other girl didn't even bother to greet me. Finally Diamond Bar has a good Coffee spot with excellent coffee. The vibe is cute and clean. I ordered the Outpost , which was a house coffee cold brew with and oatmilk cold foam and a dash of sweetness. It was so good, and perfect balance of strong and smooth. Francisco was took my order. He was a gem! He was passionate of the coffee and had great recommendations: so we picked the outpost coffee, the jalapeno bagel & salted cookie. Everything was 10/10. My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday around 1pm, the cafe was filled with students busy studying. We ordered a banana matcha, hot chocolate, and the turkey and cheese sandwich. The food was pretty amazing and worth the price, and the drinks were pretty good. The service however was okay. The girl who helped us at the register barely spoke to us and looked like she didn't want to be there, pretty much only asked if we were ready to order then told us our total at the end. But when we picked up our order a different girl handed our food over and let us know where to grab any napkins or utensils and was very nice. Been here a handful of times and noticed this establishment hasn't been getting recognized for their customer service I came in tonight 9/15 and was greeted with such a warm welcome from the cashier. I normally don't write reviews but the young lady, Jimin, who helped me out, made my iced vanilla latte perfectly with a smile on her face. New coffee spot and we are loving it. Just got the outpost latte which is cold brew with a cream cap. Very well balanced when it comes to the flavor of the coffee, the sweetness and the creaminess. Heads up the banana caramel latte is extremely, extremely sweet....I asked for less sweet and it tastes like straight banana syrup flavored milk, pure sugar and squeezes of caramel. I can't imagine what regular sweet tastes like. Sad because I hate sweet coffees where the sugar flavor masks all hints of coffee. If you just like drinking a sweet treat (like banana milks!) this is great for you. If you want coffee, 100% would not recommend. I unfortunately threw out my entire drink after a couple of sips. The service was good and timely. The interior is clean and they had a lot of seats, perfect for conversing or studying. The baristas were all very kind and the drinks came out quick. And you have to try their outpost latte! My friend got the outpost latte and I got the yuzu sparkling ade, which was solid btw, but when I tried my friend's outpost latte I had to get one for myself. (02/15/26) My girlfriend and I live down the street and decided to try Outpost after seeing so many positive reviews on social media. The customer service was nothing like we saw online. When we went up to the register to order the barista (dark hair, bangs, dark rimmed glasses) greeted us with " What do you want". My girlfriend asked to sample the Outpost latte and her response was " what do you mean". After the sampling situation we each ordered our drink and she asked for a name for the order, set the credit payment up and walked away. No hello's or thank you's. I was a big fan of the Mugs and decided to try Outpost that replaced it! I tried the Outpost Coffee, which is a creamtop coffee as well as the Dirty Thai, which is a thai tea with a shot of espresso! The creamtop was one of the best I've had in LA, and the Dirty Thai was such a unique drink that balanced out the sweetness of Thai Tea!
