Really cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, tasty food and drinks; friendly service. (I appreciate that they take reservations!) Parking is not too bad... there's some spots right in front but there is a structure that validates for 2hrs. Yeah this place is actually pretty good. Arrived on a Friday at 1145am. Instantly seated for a party of 5 (work lunch). Take a look at the menu. It's a pretty good menu. Breakfast items and lunch items until 3pm! Damn good food. You can literally eat a pancake while eating a burger. How rad is that ?? Ok so ... what did I order? The burger. It's $19. Yeah it's steep compared to In-N-Out but does it beat most burgers? Yep. That wonderfully cooked egg thrown on top of the burger that oozes down as you bite into it. Oh yeah, be sure you have that napkin in your lap or be prepared for egg yolk to splatter all over ur pants, panties, shorts, or whatever else you're wearing haha. But for reals, the burger is a little steep, but it's great. Oh it had a little bit of Cole slaw on the side too. lol but who cares - it's the burger that wins it all here. I just brought My office staff here for lunch today and was reminded of how awesome this place is! The food was great and Katie, our server was amazing! The weather outside was perfect and there is a canopy cover that made it so perfect and pleasant. Also, everyone here is so cool. It's a great vibe. The Aussie twist on the food is really unique. I was super impressed during my last visit: great food, ambiance, and service. There's a fabulous patio area. Altho I remember it was pricey. Sadly, this visit was far from stellar. Two of us met for a late lunch. It is kewl they serve breaky until 3p. With that, my table mate ordered the very popular blueberry pancakes. A stack of 3-4 cakes. Seemed to be good as she finished her set I guess. I order a grilled chicken pesto sandwich. It was more like a chicken melt on grilled toast. It tasted fine however seemed really greasy. Probably due to the tons of pesto on the Sammy. The side slaw was very nice- tho prob for garnish, more of that would have lovely. Overall, meh at best. For Dessert we had the hot ganache and a piece of key lime pie. Lacking in any key lime (there was a hint of citrus) flavor was one thing but, com'on... $12 for a piece of pie?!! A server read the dessert list- no prices offered before ordering. While our original server started out friendly, he was MIA until our check was delivered. He confirmed he went on a break after he took our order but clearly didn't communicate that to others, including us! The tip reflected the service-- $70 for lunch? Will I go back? I ordered takeout from here. There's some parking out front but it gets quite congested, there's also a parking garage close by. There's indoor and outdoor patio seating. I got the Hollywood Salad and added salmon. I had to get the salad without goat cheese as I'm dairy free. I sadly did not enjoy the salad. It didn't have enough flavor at all, the dressing flavor profile was nearly absent (just lemon?), it sort of felt like I was just forking into my mouth raw leaves which no one wants when eating a salad. Also it's odd to say this but the salmon was really fishy smelling in a bad unappetizing way. This is coming from someone who makes and eats salmon all the time. Clearly people love the place as it was quite crowded when I came, so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Bummer! read more

We have been coming here for years now and we would usually get the same staff which were absolutely wonderful but of course, staff changes from time to time. The newer workers aren't as attentive and friendly. Also, they've changed the avocado toast a little bit. It used to come with a side of cherry tomatoes and didn't have cheese on top. Now it does have shredded cheese and comes with a side of dry coleslaw mix which is underwhelming. My fiancé loved his green juice, as usual. And the mimosa flight was just okay. This is a fun little restaurant to go to. We decided to have breakfast here after coming from the airport... They have great outdoor space as well as a very large indoor space dog friendly . It's an Australian owned restaurant . So they do things just a little bit differently. The avocado toast was delicious, thick and filling. I had one of their bowls, which, unfortunately, had way too much arugula, a very nice egg on top with some butternut squash . I asked for the blueberries in the blackberries and walnuts to be on the side. For some reason I didn't want that to be on top of my bowl. They serve your hot coffees or cappuccinos in a handle less cup. I've found it a little bit difficult , to drink out of it without a handle, as it was very very hot to hold the cup. It's not a typical scramble it was overcook folded eggs with a huge side of raw spinach, a couple slices of avocado, and chorizo with not much flavor. The steak was good and you can't really mess up fried eggs so there's that. Presentation wise the food looks delicious. The place itself is self is nice a lot of natural right and outdoor seating which is almost always full. Prices are on the more expensive side. There's limited parking spots in front of the establishment but there is a structure and they will validate parking up to 2 hrs. The food at Outpost Kitchen was genuinely good. However, my experience was impacted by how difficult it was to accommodate a large party. This was my first time visiting and the seating and overall flow didn't seem well set up for bigger groups, which made the experience more stressful than it needed to be. Unfortunately, most of the experience was consumed by issues with seating and difficulties during the transaction process, which took away from the overall visit and would make me hesitant to return. Thank you for the response. To give more context, I did have a reservation for a party of 11. Although it was raining when we came, in my opinion the rain was not a factor in my negative experience at your establishment. There were two tables side by side that easily could have sat my party, but instead we were taken to two tables that were back to back. It was most frustrating that we were here to celebrate a birthday, and do the in adequate seating we weren't able to all sit and be together. To top this off when we had questions about our bill/ seating our server wasn't very pleasant, and it was quite obvious other workers were aware yet no one helped to address the situation. read more

It seems the staff prioritizes getting groups seated and ordered, which is awesome! We ordered the Aussie Scramble and the Katsu Plate. Our drinks were served first and then they brought out the hummus. While small, this is a sharable appetizer. I think I could have eaten it all by myself but I waited for the steak to be brought out.
