If you're in Phoenix and craving a Philly cheesesteak, you need to swing by here. I got the supreme with squeeze cheese and provolone. Tastes like I just got it straight from Philadelphia. If you in the neighborhood stop by. Service was great and dining room area is clean and cozy.

So I don't want to go full blown on bad review on this place, because I actually didn't eat here. And for once I wouldn't even care if Yelp pulled this review, I just want to warn people looking for an authentic Philly cheesesteak, that you won't get it here. The place inside was clean, the people are nice, but I asked if they had cheese whiz, and they don't. I asked if they use amoroso rolls for their sandwiches, and the lady didn't know she showed me a bag of rolls from like the bakery at your local supermarket. On the menu, they only have one "authentic" cheese steak, and only with provolone, but I've never had a real cheesesteak that comes with tomatoes lettuce and mayonnaise? Yeah, hard pass. I agree with the other Yelper from jersey, who actually tried it. Which is the reason I was skeptical. I had a gut feeling walking into this place, and I stood by it walking out. Burgers may be good, but this is definitely, DEFINITELY not a place for authentic cheese steaks, and I think they should omit that from their signage and marketing. Oh, and not a single person in there was from anywhere even remotely close to the East Coast.

Good service and great food, stop here and give them a try. I got The Sonoran and it was great.

Burgers, Chicken burgers, Philly Cheesesteak?? Say less. But then the best restaurant onion rings and fries? We couldn't find a reason not to go to Philly Steak & Burger. Everyone loved each order. I couldn't believe I could get a DOUBLE patty burger combo at a very affordable price. We even ordered fries and onion rings. The people didn't think we had enough in our order and were kind enough to fire more on the spot for us. Everything is made to order, made fresh, and absolutely delicious. Also, if you're a ranch person like me, get a side of ranch. Fries dipped in this ranch was mouth watering.

I have to say everything about this place is worth a visit! It's small so not too loud. We stumbled across this place on a roadtrip back home and when it says Philly cheesesteaks and burgers it has to be good right? The service was amazing and the food was absolutely incredible. I decided on the burger called the "Monster" and it is by far the best burger I've eaten in a VERY long time. It was juicy and so tasty. My wife got the steak Philly cheesesteak and loved her food as well but didn't finish it because she decided she needed to eat my burger too because it was that great. The burger was big enough for us both to eat it with some fries and half of a cheesesteak lol. My daughter loved the chicken tenders kids meal. I will drive 20+ minutes to get back here way too often. The pricing on everything is very reasonable for the portion sizes.

Wow this place is amazing food was cooked to order fresh and Philly steak was excellent lots of meat bread was superb nice and fluffy just perfect fries were very good also not sure what there coated with but very tasty mmmm price not bad sandwiches run about 10 bucks and if you make it a meal add additional 4.25 it was worth every penny hot fresh food I'll pay anytime I can't wait to go back and try there hamburgers cooked to order also dining area very clean looks like the had dessert also I saw cheesecake mmmm cya soon

It always feels like one of those mom and pop spots I grew up with in the Bay Area. Great customer…read moreservice and always helpful with the menu and recommendations. You can go wrong with the steak or chicken in your cheesesteak. The pizza is always a good option. It feels like you're in another world with all the Philadelphia sports memorabilia and a Rocky or Creed movie playing. Definitely worth the trip and it's Food Jones foodie approved.

I ended up at Corleone's Cheesesteaks in Phoenix, AZ purely out of necessity and mild desperation…read more I was staying in the most random part of town, and for reasons I still don't understand, my hotel did not have a real restaurant. Well... it technically did, but it was a BBQ spot and I just wasn't in the mood. So, naturally, I turned to Yelp like the modern traveler I am. After scrolling through nearby options, nothing really spoke to me... except cheesesteaks. And once that idea entered my brain, there was no turning back. I immediately thought, "Heck yeah, I'm in." Keys were grabbed. Car was started. Mission accepted. When I arrived, I noticed it was a smaller shop, but that's usually a good sign. I walked in and was immediately distracted by the pizzas displayed in the window and the massive pizza oven in the back, very promising. Then I checked out the menu and locked in my order: a regular cheesesteak with Whiz, onions, and green peppers, plus a side of fries. Simple. Classic. Correct. The fries came out first, and let me tell you, hot, crispy, and exactly what fries should be. No soggy nonsense here. Then came the cheesesteak. I asked the manager for some pepperoncini's, and instead of just handing me a few, he pointed me to this full-on condiment bar. I'm talking pepperoncini's, pickles, and a whole lineup of extras. A choose-your-own-adventure, but for sandwiches. Loved it. The cheesesteak itself was really good, flavorful, satisfying, and hit the spot perfectly. Paired with those fries, it was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel and questionable hotel choices. I will say the service was not that great and not very friendly. I felt like I was imposing on them when I walked in to the time I left. Perhaps they were all having a "moment" that day. Bottom line: great cheesesteaks, excellent fries, and zero regrets. If you find yourself in the area and craving something hearty and comforting, Corleone's will not disappoint.

Just tried this place for dinner. Outstanding food and eating-in experience…read more Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

I was looking on Yelp while she was in an office taking care of business and saw this place. When she and my granddaughter came out I asked them how they felt about it. Granddaughter was hesitant because she claims she doesn't like fish but daughter was open to it and I could see online that they had hamburgers and chicken nuggets also. I got the two piece fish with fries and she got the three piece fish with fries because she thought the two piece wouldn't fill her up. The pieces were generous and delicious and the fries were good. She wasn't even able to eat her third piece so she let me bring it home for leftovers. We also got six wings to try out, three lemon pepper and three honey barbecue. We each had one of each flavor just for an appetizer. They were good, a little chewy but wonderful flavor. My daughter and I were both impressed with how good the fish was and neither one of us could finish what we were served. The teenage granddaughter ordered the hamburger special for $6.99 that included hamburger fries and a kool-aid. She wasn't crazy about the Kool-Aid so we brought it home for other family members but she kept exclaiming how delicious her hamburger was! She liked the wings also and we all liked the fries. All in all we were happy with our food and the service was fine, very friendly. The final decision was that it was a good choice! It's inside an old convenience store and does have a lot of items a convenience store would have but we just went for the food. Don't let the outside deter you, the food is worth it and a very very good price. For me the only disadvantage was when I asked for a receipt it just said $40.32 but didn't itemize so there was no way to double check it and I have found so many places make errors that I like to look over my receipt and see exactly what I was charged. I do know that we paid $6.99 for the hamburger special at least that's what it was listed for and my two-piece was $8.99. I think my daughter is three piece was $11.99 but I can't remember for absolute sure and I don't remember how much the wings were but they were reasonable.

This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package…read more On a recent trip to Phoenix from my home base in Chicago, I got a serious craving for fish and chips--something crispy, hot, and satisfying. After a quick internet search, I ended up at a place called Speedie's Fish & Chips on McDowell. Let me be real with you... when I pulled up, my first thought was: Am I in the right place? From the outside, it's giving more "corner vape shop meets convenience store" than seafood spot. But hey--hunger (and curiosity) won the day. I walked in and discovered exactly that: a vape store, a small market, and tucked off to the right, a humble little lunch counter. No frills -- just a guy behind the counter doing his thing. I ordered the Fish & Shrimp Daily Special ($11.99) and waited a few minutes. When the food hit the counter, WOW. Any skepticism I had about the surroundings vanished in a cloud of fryer steam and crispy golden goodness. The fish? Hot, flaky, and perfectly battered. The shrimp? Juicy with just the right crunch. The fries? Fresh, piping hot, and generously portioned. All of it was straight out of the fryer--no limp or lukewarm bites here. To top it off, they gave me four sauces--ketchup, cocktail, tartar, and ranch--which turned this into a choose-your-own-dipping-adventure. Each bite was better than the last. And guess what? The next day, I went back and ordered the exact same thing. No regrets. Bottom line: Speedie's is not about ambiance. It's not Instagram-worthy, and it might not even look like a restaurant. But if you're in Phoenix and craving solid fish and chips at a great price, don't let the exterior fool you. This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package.
