Probably the worst pizza I've paid for. Cracker crust and tomato can sauce. It's a cool place but the pizza is terrible.

We stopped in for a spicy seagull pizza and it was very good. The crust has some body to it with a nice crunch on the edges. Good premium pepperoni on the pizza and all the staff were friendly. The shuffle board was fun to play with while waiting for the pizza to cook. Wish they had beers on tap, or more (local) selections. We would come back again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would ! My friend and I took our kids to this place to eat on a Saturday recently. The place was clean but extremely warm and completely empty. We went to sit down and woman behind counter says " don't let the kids get up from their seats, because I will have to clean " I thought this odd as the kids are older 8 & 11 but ok that's fine.. we ordered garlic knots and pizza which only came in one size ( pre made apparently) she came out and said we only have half order of garlic knots , once again ok no big .. they were ok, they were wheat which it did not specify on menu and they tasted freezer burned. Pizza came out nice and hot but the sauce tasted like pure ketchup, I asked for ranch and she brought out 2 little cups , I opened one up and it had a cloudy liquid on surface, I stirred it and dipped pizza in it SPOILED! So called her over and nicely told her I think ranch is spoiled she said " put the lid back so I can take it back then" never did get different ranch. The very few pieces of pineapple that were there were nice and sweet but the pepperoni was so spicy none of us could eat it.. to top it all off the cook had his mask under his chin the whole time ... we did not complain but I wish I would have , the medium sized 2 topping pizza with half order of garlic knots NO drinks except lukewarm water came to $38.00 Very disappointed!!!!! read more

We've ordered pizza from this place twice. Both times the pizza has been piping hot upon pick up and on the scheduled 20 minute time. The owner is very nice, and the restaurant space itself has a lot of fun options to offer the small town of Yachats. The pizza isn't the best I've had in my life, but it's tasty, filling, and doesn't sit as heavy in my stomach as many other pizza parlors. I gave this place 2 stars. I would give 1 if the guy that worked there wasn't so nice. Ok first thing- it was dead on a Saturday night. Only one person there drinking. Second- cash only. So I basically paid 2 bucks more because I had to get cash from the atm that was located in there. Third the pizza smelled divine, however it's a tease. I used to work in a pizza place and know for a fact that the crust is frozen. Basically tastes like a Digiornos from the grocery store. Dead giveaway always the pizzas only come in one size. Toppings were good! But this is the only pizza place in town it looks like, however I think there is an Italian restaurant that I didn't try. Please just think twice if you are really craving a pizza. The price is like the price of really upscale pizza places in salem where I am from. We've visited this establishment twice before. Thus the return visit. When 2 pizza loving connoisseurs throw away the leftovers you know something has gone sideways. I'm not sure what fuzzy is skimping on, (I suspect the crust) but he really screwed the pooch. Fresh food.,! Salad competes well with our Italian places where we're from. Smothered in mozzarella.. delicious and fresh. Pizza was 1/2 Hawaiian (for kids), 1/2 pepperchinnis, pepperoni and pineapple.. slightly spicey .. crust was perfect and pizza delicious. They we very accommodating and made us feel welcome. We ordered a mushroom and pepperoni pizza to go. Help was friendly and efficient. The wait was tolerable, helped by the pool table and game room. (Pool table, however, has seen better days. Felt is shot. Ques are past prime.) The pizza was a disappointment. Absolutely awful! This was not a $23 pizza. Overpriced and craftless. It could have came from the frozen food section of any grocery store. Heck - it would have been better if it had. The dough was mass produced and stamped to size. It was thick and lifeless. It didn't have the feel or taste of yeast-risen sticky stretchy pizza dough. The taste was bland and it was under cooked, so that the ingredient side was moist and soft. Nothing crispy about this crust! We ordered pink sauce (tomato and pesto mixed). This had no bold flavors - again, tasting as if from a can. The toppings? Pretty skimpy on both the pepperoni and mushrooms. Again, not what I expect for a $23 pie. The cheeses were something else altogether. If I was given a taste while blindfolded I would have guessed it was the finest Velveta nacho cheese dip you could buy. This pizza was horrible. The experience, depressing. We had high hopes that Outta Gas would become our "hang place." Instead, they lost two customers with their outta gas quality. We ordered two specialty pizzas for dinner while on vacation. The pizza was fine - the best thing about it is the fresh basil. It is quite expensive - $24 for a 16 inch pizza which is their only size. We had one vegetarian in our family and it would have been nice to be able to get him a small or individual pizza. The red sauce is better than the Alfredo. I think the pizza would be much better if they had a better crust or maybe oven? If I could give this negative reviews, I would. I have no idea how the hell this place got so many good reviews. Hands down the WORST pizza I have ever had. No only did it take forever for someone to even appear, it took almost 45 minutes for our pizza to come out. Once we got our pizza, it was totally wrong (how hard is a pepperoni pizza with half pineapple, half jalapeños). The crust and pizza was so flat and it was completely burnt! I'm talking so crispy we couldn't even cut it with a knife. It also had the most sauce Iv ever seen in a pizza. I will never ever come here again. It smelled amazing, but the only edible part was the toppings. You know the crust is bad when a 7 year old, who's favorite food is pizza, won't eat it. The crust really is as bad as others have said. I don't think I've ever had a frozen pizza crust from an independent pizza restaurant. It is a strange, and unhappy, experience. My boyfriend and I had gone to the coast for a day on the beach for surfing and sun bathing. While we were on our way home there was an accident on the side of the road and we waited there for awhile and got really hungry. Lucky Outta Gas was right on the other side of the accident so we decided to take a chance and try it. First I asked for a salad and what was in it. I was told there was all kinds of stuff in it and it was fresh from a local garden. It was true that the greens were fresh, but it was pretty much just greens no carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, or anything that you would put in a normal quick salad. All there was in it were radishes... Then our pizza came. We ordered a pizza with garlic, olives, onions, and peppers. It didn't even look like we had any of those topings besides the peppers and they were mushy because all the topics were under the cheese. Who does that? And the peppers were so small. The onions were finely chopped like what you would get on a children happy meal burger from McDonalds, and I'm pretty sure that they used garlic powder instead of fresh cloves of it and the olives are the usual canned ones. This pizza was very disappointing especially for such a nice coastal town where you expect more than just okay dinning. This was worse than okay. Not to mention what kind of pizza place only puts red pepper flakes in all of their shakers? What does a girl have to do to get some cheap outta the can Parmesan cheese shred. As far as I could tell this is the only pizza joint in Yachats. Though the pizza was good (and what pizza isn't?), it was costly. We paid a total of $28 for a pizza with 1 topping and two half toppings and a salad. Though the price isn't the issue here, what is, is the fact that they only take cash. They offer an ATM machine but that is costing you $2. + the bank charge of 2.+ so add another $4-5 to the order. They should have a sign or someone tell you about this when you call in. When at the counter, I saw a sign that declared the city takes 5% of their sales so I figure the cash issue is just a way to short the city. If I were to live there I think I'd open a Dominoes or other pizza joint to compete at a better price. Walking in, there's a dead guy in the front. Made it seem very hospitable lol. Good timing on how long it took to get the pizza out. Only problem is it wasn't cooked all the way through. We came in at like 4:50pm, right at the beginning of the dinner rush. We were the only ones there. Besides the dead guy at the front. The only rush was to get out of there. 0.5 star if I could. Service was good. Pizza was 100% frozen, and then reheated when we got there. Hard to cook frozen dough. Gordon Ramsey badly needs to visit this joint. Looks like this place really ran out of gas. Ha. Was probably the least inviting restaurant I've ever been in. Blank white walls, no decoration in the slightest, besides the dead guy in the front. Lights were off when we came in, so they had to turn them on after we sat down. Just overall shady. Might call the police for the dead guy. There might be a homicide case here. Pizza is pretty good if that is what your wanting. Staff is very friendly. They serve beer as well. They also do a breakfast which goes til Noon which is affordable and awesome for people like me who don't get up at the butt crack of dawn, lol. For 3 people it ended up being like 20 dollars even. Most breakfast joints you pay like 15 dollars a person. So, for a cheap and delicious breakfast its the place to go. Its not a huge selection but you eggs, hash browns, bacon. The place itself is pretty cool as well. It has a awesome game room which includes Pool table, Shuffleboard table, Dart board, and a Huge projector screen for the wall. Where they play sports. So, we were watching a Football game, eating Pizza and playing games. Awesome joint I must say. Highly recommend if you are in or near that area. PS This is a Cash only place. Little Ceasars is gourmet compared to this product. It was $60 for three average sized pizzas. The crust is strikingly similar to Tombstone frozen pizzas in texture and taste, the cheese and bland toppings were used sparingly, and more than one person we shared it with compared the sauce to bad spaghetti sauce: thin, acidic, and tasteless. "Outta Gas Pizza" is a quirky little hole-in-the-wall place. It is essentially only a kitchen - it is 100% take out only. They ONLY do pizza, and only in one size, although topping choices are plentiful. Although the web site says they deliver, they were doing a rather extensive remodel the day we decided to use them and we had to go there to pick up the pizza.
