Nonna approved! The pasta is made in the restaurant and is more fresh than Will Smith in the 80s. The Alfredo is actual Italian Alfredo instead of the usual food equivalent of Adam Driver's accent in Ferrari. The portion sizes are as perfect as the middle bowl of porridge is hot. The desserts will make you regret your GLP-1 like Ryan Reynolds regrets Green Lantern. The view of the water is also lovely!

Wow , We finally stopped into this Fish restaurant as we have passed it many times on our jaunts…read moreup and down the coast. This place is Amazing ! The fish for their fish and chips is the freshest as it's caught right in Seal Rock area! My wife got the cod fish and chips and I had the Halibut fish and chips and Oh my ... They were the best I've had, Ever ! And I've been up and down the coast for years and it had been recommended to us, but we are always going by to Newport and back down home so we are so glad we finally stopped here ! If your looking for the best fish and chips anywhere on the central coast of Oregon, Luna Sea should be your top choice !

Ordered halibut fish and chips, Luna Sea combination plate and a small salad. Never saw the salad, but weren't charged, so a wash. Took our order and we never saw her again. Halibut was a little fishy, albacore was dry, but the salmon was really good. Portion sizes were good, but dry and fishy don't cut it. We saw lots of rave reviews, so we gave it a shot, but it's one and done for us. On the Hook fish and chips is significantly better, for less money, but it's a food truck. Still, better flavor and portions. Sorry Luna Sea, did not live up to the reviews.

Clearwater restaurant came highly recommended and now I know why!…read more With beautiful view of the pier and sea and fishing and tour boats passing by, but most of all the sea lions located just in-front of the restaurant. Besides the view the food is exceptionally fresh and delicious, I ordered the New Seafood platter so I could try a lot of different items on the menu. The chilled Dungeness crab was very good and tasty. No need to add anything! The fresh shucked oysters were tasty and fresh and clean. The crab dip was exceptionally good with chucks of crab meat to eat with the fried won ton chips & crackers. The ceviche was okay and also the spicy shrimp salad. The clam chowder was very good and flavorful and it was okay on the thicker side, came out nice and hot not warm. My wife had the Halibut & garlic fries which the French fries were very tasty and crispy and the halibut was great with a lightly breaded batter. Service was great and waiter was friendly Restroom they have 1 on the 1st floor and another one on the 2nd floor to be shared by both men & women. Restroom was clean only thing with the amount of customers they can accommodate you most likely have to wait to use the restroom. Entrance is about 4 steps to enter with hand rail on one side, did not see a wheelchair accessible ramp. Pets are allowed. We saw couple of retrievers seating outside with their owners.

We tried the straberry/watermelon salad to start, and that was absolutely delicious. I had the filet mingon for dinner and that was well prepared. We thought it was great. The only odd thing was the waiter never cleared any of our dirty dishes. So our salad plate sat in the middle of table for the entire meal, which was kinda strange.

The food is fresh and artfully prepared, and everything we've ordered in several visits has been delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is great, the view of Alsea Bay is stunning from the lounge as well as the main dining area, and while I'm at it, I should mention the drinks are excellent as well! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is there is a little trick to finding it in the midst of the Bayshore development, which is probably why they aren't packed to the gills every night. As much as I'd like to keep this place our little "locals secret", however, they deserve more folks making that turn at the convenience store just north of the Waldport Bridge and following the main road down to the bottom of the hill. It really isn't that hard to find! So consider this a five star review after all!

I appreciate his efforts to get the business up and running. My only suggestion would be to consider hiring a waitress, although I understand that can be challenging for a new establishment.
