Food was good. Flavorful. Service as expected- kind and attentive. Ambience was hustle bustle and kind of loud. Not sure why all the conversations traveled to create that atmosphere. High ceilings created an airy open feeling but the noise was just there and is amplified when busy. I'm guessing the food quality makes up for it. read more

Given the rave review of the fried chicken and waffles by TLC, I was excited to try it. The description says it comes with a hot sauce maple syrup, but really it came with a pat of butter on the waffle that didn't cover the entire waffle when I spread it, and I was handed bottles of syrup and Cholula to put on myself. I don't mind dressing it myself, it's just that I was looking forward to what sounded like a really delicious spicy maple syrup. This place rocks! We had a group of seven, and had such a great time at brunch. The food was delicious, with very generous portions - and everyone loved what they ordered. But the best part was the staff! Our server, Kaitlynn, we cheerful and engaging, and didn't mind taking the time to answer our questions about the menu or her opinions on favorites. The manager, Alexa, was kind and welcoming as well. In fact, all of our interactions with staff there were uplifting. Should've ordered a more location appropriate meal i.e. Southwest/American etc.... I went for the loco moco, a Hawaiian classic! The gravy was not even close, flavors were just not to be what's expected... I understand that there are unique takes on some things but don't mess with something that's not broken. Also my friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, gravy was actually quite nice but the ratio was off, need more gravy and biscuits were hard. Service was nice, people were friendly and attentive, atmosphere was also very good. Coffee and Food was amazing. Normally breakfast places dont focus too much on good coffee but the coffee was great. I recommend highly the breakfast burger and chipotle aioli on it or dipped in it. sweet potatoes were great as well and the basil melt was great too. David was a great server, very attentive and very nice. Food was really nice. I loved the overnight oats and omelet I had. My grandma had the corned beef hash and she really enjoyed it. Our server was clearly either having a bad day or just not a person cut out to be in customer service. I'd rather believe she just woke up in the wrong side of the bed the Sunday we went in. Let me first say my server was new and she was outstanding (Mikayla M.)!! The food was great as well until there was a piece of hair found in my avocado toast. Mikayla attempted to take the meal off my check, however her manager Dalany wanted to argue over a side of mushrooms that they said they would have removed from the bill. Mind you, I didn't ask for a discount because at that point Mikayla was so amazing, I didn't want her to feel bad. However, Dalany was rude, argumentative and snatched the bill out of my hand. I can deal with mistakes, but horrible customer service is a NO for me. Because of that, I will never return to this location! read more

Very pleasant breakfast on their patio this morning. My wife had the California Chicken Wrap and I had the traditional pancake eggs and bacon. She liked her meal and so did I ... I appreciated the excellent pure maple syrup for which they do not charge extra. We plan to go back soon ... a number of different menu items is on our list to try next. Had the California omelette recently: it was average. With water it ran me around $17. Too much for something average.

I cant get enough of the downtown location! I stop by here 3 times a week. All their staff along with Alexa make the experience awesome and very welcoming. My coworkers also became regulars. My fav is their pear mimosas, avocado toast and a specialty pumpkin french toast for dessert. Bummed there getting rid of the pumpkin french toast but Alexa said there's exciting new dishes coming in January. read more

Tried this as a new option for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Guy Fieri poster prominently displayed. TLDR - Average food (did not try DDD dishes). Maybe 3.5 Service - Poor 1.0 - Asked for utensils (sorry, we ran out). Food arrived without them. Asked for cream - arrived after two requests and after coffee cooled. No attention to things like warming of coffee. Waited about 10 minutes for check to arrive. Food - I had California Chicken sandwich. Plenty of chicken. In fact, stacked so high it wasn't really a sandwich. Can't complain about the portion but it was a little unpleasant to eat. Would try something else next time. My wife had an omelet with home fries and toast. OK, but pretty average. Won't be back. We kind of scouted it out for my daughter's family. It's not set up for more than 4 people, so her family of 5 wouldn't find it all that inviting. Too bad since we like to find new places near us. Hopefully, service will improve with time. read more

We love the foods. Just don't care to have the waitress stand over you while your trying to do the check. We have to manually add our tip on the sub total. Your tips are based on the whole total, not the sub total. Which it should be the sub total. Most restaurants do subtotal. Other than that, it's a great place, and clean. read more

If I could give 4.5 stars I would, 5 stars was not possible today. Family of 5 seated really quickly, booths are comfortable, inside and out is clean. Ordered drinks, they took a little bit of time to bring them out. Now we ordered... This is the bad part. Food came in 15-30 Mins. Everyone got their food. But me. Our server was really nice about it she says something like "Your food should come out in a little bit" to me. Maybe 30 mins later food still has not came out (I ordered Chilequilez) she apologizes she says "I talked to the manager and were taking it off the bill" Finally my food comes out! All food is really good server was super nice she gave is my food and the coffees off. I really do recommend you coming here. We have definitely had better breakfasts and normally go to Butters pancake house but this was closer. Coffee was hot but our food was not. I had the brioche French toast with strawberries I know strawberries are not in season right now, but at most restaurants they at least edible. The syrup seem like it was watered down. The butter was still cold so you couldn't spread it on the food. My Husband had the biscuits and gravy also just warm and bland. My son had fresh squeeze orange juice, which normally sounds delicious, but it was room temperature not even cold. He was smart and just had toast but like the syrup the jam was watery. Our waitress was on top of things but not very friendly. Host was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Definitely going to Butters next time. read more
