I ordered the **smash burgers** and the **triple chocolate pizookie**, and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish--largely thanks to the fantastic hospitality. * **The Smash Burgers:** Packed with flavor, perfectly seared with those classic crispy edges, and incredibly juicy. Every bite was spot-on. * **The Triple Chocolate Pizookie:** The absolute star of the show. It came out warm, gooey, and intensely rich. Combining that warm, decadent cookie with the cool ice cream is pure heaven. * **Our Server, Maddie:** She was absolutely awesome! In short, this meal has met expectations, but not a "wow, it's great to be back after all these years!" The last time I went to BJ's was when they were still open in Chandler Mall. They were still serving pizza back then. I don't remember seeing it on the menu this time, plus my diet has changed, so I went straight to the higher protein option. Without the dressing, it fit my diet! The fish and chips is also good. Erica was our server, who seemed to be working a very popular section at the time, so at times I felt like it took her 2 extra minutes on things, like extra seasoning, swap out a dirty fork, and extra napkins. She did come back and check on us during our meal. A runner also stopped by with a to-go order that didn't belong to us. When we paid it was also on the bill by mistake. So it took her longer to fix the bill. Overall good vibes with a good playlist. Again, not memorable. Also would like to point out the dusty ledge by our seats (pictured) and the not-so-clean bathroom with only 3 stalls (it was a busy weekend; had to wait for 5 minutes). read more

Great location with daily specials. We ended up here after a long week and nothing defrosted to make dinner. It was a last minute decision but we were able to grab seats at the bar. Definitely we were in luck because they had $12.99 burger special with unlimited fries. We both got burgers and I got spicy Margarita. Burgers were good and the fries were crispy. My boyfriend and I went to BJs for the first time at this location and its been years since we've been to a Bjs. The one close to us closed and I've been craving a pazookie. And let's be real, BJs is known for their pazookies! I was genuinely blown away by the customer service by our server, Will. He was attentive, charismatic, and absolutely wonderful. He cleared dishes right away, kept my strawberry lemonade filled, and asked my boyfriend if he wanted another beer when he was about finished on the one he was working on. I honestly can not remember the last time I was impressed by customer service at a restaurant. Will sets the bar high! It was also very busy on a Sunday evening. The food was delicious and I was so stuffed I got my oreo pazookie to go. The only thing that threw me off was the guac. The photo in the menu looks so smooth and creamy but what I got was super chunky. It was almost like chunky guac salsa. Still tasty just very different from what I expected. A friend & i split 2 appetizers: Spinach Artichoke dip served with tortilla chips & the garlic shrimp with buttery, melted parmesan toast. The shrimp & bread appetizer was SO DELICIOUS we decided to ordered the shrimp scampi entree. BIG MISTAKE‼ We should have just ordered a 2nd appetizer. The shrimp appetizer was so flavorful & the entree was sooo BORING - it tasted like plain buttered noodles. Even the garlic knot was disappointing after having the yummy garlic cheese bread. They should remove that entree from their menu -OR- use the recipe from the appetizer because that sauce & bread is divine!!! Others enjoyed their salads, burgers, & soup. We had an early dinner at BJ's tonight for the Prime Rib. Soup and salad plus 2 sides and dessert (pizookie) included for $37.99. We had a 4:15 reservation. The restaurant was busy but we were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. Our waiter Reed was attentive but not overly intrusive. Let's get to the Prime Rib. Cooked to perfection ( my choice is rare). The seasoning was spicy but was surprisingly tasty. The au jus was a little watery and real grated horseradish would be a plus. I took my Mom here this weekend for the prime rib meal, and we both enjoyed the food and the service. We arrived just after 5pm, and they were busy. We had about a ten minute wait for a table that was not bad considering the volume of people. Neither of us had room for the cookie and ice cream deserts, so they boxed them up for us to take home. Another good part of this visit was I got to try their in house brewed Orange Cream soda. It's not the Orange Julius I used to love as a kid, but it's the next best thing, and theirs is very good. Not overly sweet like most. Next time I look forward to trying a hard rootbeer. I am thinking about trying one of their family meal deals, and adding the extra pizza for $15. I am surprised to report this was my first visit to this location. The menu is extensive which is why I like them. I decided to try the Korean fried chicken sandwich. I can't resist a crispy piece of chicken, and it was seasoned nicely. Yummy sauce and veggies with a bit of a bite, on a soft bun. The fries were cooked nicely and seasoned. All that with a cool lemonade was the perfect choice. Service was on point, good without being intrusive, which allowed me to catch up with friends. Came in on a busy Tuesday night but got seated within 10 minutes of waiting which is great. Welcomed in by friendly staff and met with a cordial demeanor from our server. My highlight from BJ's is the honey sriracha brussel sprouts along side the 14oz ribeye. My steak came out exactly how I like and the brussel sprouts were delicious with their crispy exterior and the sauce sweet absorbing into the core. A lowlight of my experience is with their shrimp protein bowl, the flavors were fine and balanced but the portion for the cost of 22.99$ was not worth it in my opinion. Mozzarella sticks were a 7/10, nice crisp bite with the marinara sauce but definitely ask for extra to finish the rest of the appetizer. Lastly for dessert, the strawberry shortcake pazookie mini sized, not too sweet with the taste of sliced strawberries to contrast to the vanilla ice cream. Great finisher to all the food we had. We only had drinks and apps for happy hour, but I have to say, the food, drinks, atmosphere and employees were a delight. It was a bit on the loud side, but you expect that for happy hour. Our server couldn't have been more friendlier, checking in on us at nicely spaced intervals. We ended up staying longer than intended, eventually just getting drinks while we waited for a friend to meet up with us after his work, and no one made a stink about us taking up a booth, which was unheard of. He came in, ordered a full meal, and we continued with drinks. We made sure to tip our server well for her patience with us. If you've ever worked in a restaurant, you know. I just learned BJ's changed their pizzas in Nov 2025. I thought the last pizza I ordered in February was just a bad night in the kitchen. Tonight I was there ordering and the waitress explained the pizzas have been changed. She was very friendly and helpful. But I doubt I'll order the pizza again. The cupped pepperoni is just nasty. The stewed tomatoes were a great flavor. Now they don't offer. Crust was dry. Not even a good pizza. It was bad. I'm sorry but they took a great pizza and downgraded it. read more

Angel was our server tonight, super friendly, knowledgable and attentive, very attentive. It wasn't packed when we got there at 5pm as it was on our last visit, but by 7pm every table was full, which is great, love to see them getting lots of business, and it's never too loud or hectic, even with a family birthday party next to us. The place is well lit, not too bright or dark, just feels warm and casual, not cold at all even when it's chilly outside. We indulged heavily in happy hour food and drinks tonight. $7 house margarita was very good, opted for the sugar rim instead of salt, was a good and tasty choice. With mostly ice in the glass (got it on the rocks) $7 was about the right price. Tasted a few beers on the darker end of the spectrum, they were very good, went with the amber ale which was well balanced, not overly hoppy, perfectly chilled and a great value at only $5, and a bit lighter than the stout beers since we were having fried and Italian food. For food we ordered the chips with guacamole and salsa. The chips were great, salty and crunchy, the guac was excellent, super chunky and flavorful with chopped veggies, and the salsa was also excellent, well balanced, lightly spicy, smooth and chunky at the same time, great flavor. The grilled potstickers were mediocre, wouldn't order them again, sauce didn't taste great. The personal 3-meat pizza was excellent. The thick crust was soft with just the right chew, meats were delicious, great sauce though a little bland, and the cheese was great, a little browned/burnt on the edges, yumm! The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly plentiful, there were 10 or 12 of them in a serious stack, they were thick and stretchy with light batter, fried perfectly Dipping sauce was a bit bland (guessing it was the same as the pizza sauce) and needed to order a second, but worth it! All that food, which included 4 appetizers, and 4 drinks, was only around $50. It's an incredibly reasonable deal in my opinion. This is an easy, nice, comfortable hangout with very good food, great service and reasonable pricing that I plan to visit more often. I definitely recommend BJ's and hope you enjoy! read more

Having to be Gluten Free, I wasn't sure on what I would be able to eat but here we go to check it out. WHOA!!! They had a GF menu. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of my GF pizza because it was so good. I got the pepperoni extremes and it was loaded with crispy pepperonis. Thin crust and absolutely amazing. We also order a berry cider they have on tap and it was amazing. We ate at the bar cuz the wait was long but amazing service at the bar, good TVs to watch games too. Clean location. Mozzarella salad was good as well. Service was so, so. I would say it is a step above a Chili's or Applebees and has a more open and modern vibe. I came on a Monday night and got a large deep dish to go. My order was not at all the quality I am used to from BJs. It had practically no tomato sauce and no seasoned tomatoes. I actually double checked my receipt to make sure I hadn't accidentally removed tomatoes (I didn't - they were supposed to be on there). The order was also done much faster than the norm for BJs. Normally that would be a good thing, but once I saw and tasted the pizza, I realized it was because they hadn't put much effort into making it. I considered driving it back to the store but didn't want to take the time away from my family. I genuinely wonder if the restaurant was purposely cutting corners because it's a Monday half off deal night. Regardless of the reason, I don't plan on returning. I notice that the location seems to reply to negative reviews on here and advise them to contact corporate. The non-BJ's beers are a bit pricey though - $9 a beer - yikes! I love pizza, both thin and stuffed, and they do a great job for both - go when on special! Service is usually good but sometimes server dependent. The bar staff is consistently good. As others note, it can be a bit loud in the dining area. read more

My husband and I love to visit certain restaurants for our birthdays and life celebrations. This week was my husband's birthday so he chose BJ's. The franchise closed the location in Chandler, so we ventured out further to go to this location. We made a reservation for 6pm, but arrived 30 minutes early. We ended up waiting for about 45 minutes. The host stand was a mess- there were 5 hostesses and they all seemed flustered by how crowded the lobby was. The waitress was hard to find and we had to sit without items for several minutes before she brought them around. We ordered an appetizer but it came out after our entrees. We waited an additional 40 minutes after paying to get our pizookies to go. The customer service wasn't there and we felt like the staff were avoiding us. This was a pretty disappointing experience overall. The food was okay- everything was greasy and heavy. I do not feel like the price and time spent there was worth it. When it's a busy weekend night, I usually don't mind waiting a little bit, but this was excessive. The serving staff need to be more present and aware of the customers in the space. read more

I tired the Mahi mahi tacos and they were nice flavorful juice. Very well seasoned and the slaw was amazing that goes inside. The salsa was nice and fresh, the avocado spread or guc was a nice touch as well. Black beans were well seasoned as well. I placed my order, and was prompted to let them know my curbside spot, for curbside to not be an option. This is my second time at this location. The second time "curbside services weren't available". When I go in for my order, they don't have partial of it and ask me if I'd like something else... I'm very reasonable, had this have been prompted to me before no issue. But only advising after I've been sitting, and waiting, mildly inconvenient.. The staff are quite pleasant just not a fan of the process in regards to orders being fulfilled (car side/curbside). I'm very glad I didn't submit this before receiving my order to be very clear there is a young man that works curbside who is doing his job ! He doesn't seem to be getting much help, though. Random server walked past me stating "I think we should just fire Colby" I'm assuming "Colby" the cook had enough because he comes from back stating "he can't do it anymore" the manager I assume states to him to "please just stay". They leave to the back. The girl working upfront car side should maybe be moved to another position, consistently had her back faced to customers doing ???? Love BJ's and go to CA locations all the time so when I was in AZ for work and wanted to watch the Dodger game, I headed over to BJ's. Like most BJ's, the service is always great. I really enjoyed the Pot Stickers and because I was there for so long, watching the Dodger game, I also had a pizza on their Happy Hour menu. The quality is consistent and always delicious, I guess that's why I come here. Oh yeah, and the Nutty Brunette! They have some other great beers I like [Jeremiah Red & Tatanka Stout to name two] but the Nutty Brunette is one of my favs. I sometimes get the Jameson on the rocks for Happy Hour but really wanted the beer today. Great vibes all around, had some great people that I was able to meet while watching the game and seemed like a very friendly crowd. Someone mentioned that this is a Pilot store so that they get some stuff that we don't see back in Cali. One thing i did notice is that HH ends at 6 PM here compared to 7 PM back home. read more

I ordered three kids meals and two kids pazookies and when I say there was something wrong with everything but the pazookies u would be livid too . Pizza kids meal ... they literally put no sauce on the pizza at all !!! No mariners just veggies bread and cheese . It was cold and doughy and barely melted . Side of mashed potatoes was cold and missing the butter --gross check the photos Chicken tenders with smiley face potatoes and root beer glaze dipping sauce --- mold was in patch right in the middle of the sauce ... MOLD!!!!! And the chicken was so hard and old it was crumbling . The smoky faces had white patches which is a clear sign of being in a hot table way to long or being freezer burned . And kids soda was flatter than a pressed hairdo Spaghetti kids meal - was supposed to be noodles and mariners ... what was received was. Pasta with old chick thrown on top that looked to be sliced ... it was clearly a request for no protein and there It was ... talk about the worst food ever ... we all went to bed hungry because of this joke of a restaurant... Waiter was nice place is clean but the steak and shrimp was a total fail. Steak was served with blue skin and was totally dry and over rested. Baked potato was dry.
