Whoa...how can it be no one has Yelped this place yet? I couldn't wait to get home and start extolling the great crepes and coffee from this brand spanking new establishment in Liberty. You know how it feels when you get a good vibe the minute you walk into a place? That's how Overflow is. It doesn't hurt that everything is clean as a whistle and too cute for words. For a book-lover, the cozy corner with a little library and nice overstuffed chairs is a definite plus. The handmade signs displayed throughout also add to the warm ambiance. All those excellent points aside, what I love about this place is their commitment to be a force for good in the community. Buy a t-shirt or mug and half the cost goes toward a good cause that I've already forgotten. Feeding the homeless? Books in the library can be taken home for whatever donation you choose to leave - and that money also goes toward helping needy. Good food and a great looking room to eat it in are one thing, but it's just so much better when you know you're in a place that cares about more than just making money. A place that recognizes that they can make a difference in the community. May Overflow live long and prosper! Oh...and the food. I came with a friend and we split a savory crepe and a strawberries and cream dessert crepe. Confession: I'm a bit of a crepe snob and I can be rather picky about the taste and texture of what is served. These crepes were just the right amount of eggy and springy. I am impressed. My friend had been to Overflow a week before and says that the Nutella banana crepe is also excellent. I can't wait to go back and try the lemon blueberry variety. There are all kinds of specialty drinks. I ordered a lavender latte and wasn't disappointed. In fact, it was so good, I wish I'd ordered a bigger size. Next time. I didn't meet the owners but two of their "kids" were working that day - a brother and sister duo. Both were friendly, helpful, and obviously proud of their family restaurant. Over Flow is the perfect spot to meet with friends or study. Customer service is out of this world. And they sell Messenger Coffee!

I have been looking for this place for 15 years. Every time I get a sitter so that I can get some work done, I have a near panic attack, because I have so much trouble finding a place where I can relax and focus. No more. Now I've found Over Flow, and it is WONDERFUL. You walk in, and the lighting is just right. Not too gloomy, not too bright, not fluorescent feeling. The music puts you INSTANTLY at peace. There is a perfect mix of tables and also a large corner with bookshelves, a love seat, and an oversized rocker. I have had SO much trouble finding any cafe with a couch. The staff is super friendly. I stepped outside to take a call and got such good news that I was crying. One of the baristas asked if he could pray with me afterwards. It was awesome. Oh, and did I mention the coffee was great and the food looks good too? I'll be back! read more

I really want to like this place but was disappointed after my first visit. The staff was friendly, and the location is cute. The pastries all looked quite delicious, but I decided to go with a Latte and the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Crepe upon suggestion. The Latte was very weak and lacked any flavor. I came home and whipped out my own espresso machine cause I needed my caffeine fix. The crepe was beautifully presented, however the crepe itself was gummy. I was also a bit disappointed at the use of a microwave to cook parts of the crepe, however for the sake of time you got to do what you have to do to make the wait short. I hope to chalk this up to a bad day and will opt for some of the fresh baked goods next time. read more

Really cute little place. Worldly decor makes the place feel really homey, and the staff was all very friendly. The coffee was good, and my friend really enjoyed her chai. Slightly disappointed that milk alts are an extra dollar, seems just a little steep. Not very many people were in this morning, so I didn't feel rushed to get in and out like some coffee shops feel like. Nice place to sit and chat and have brunch. I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I admit it. My standards are high. Let me tell you, these people know how to pull a great shot of espresso. They understand how to create a spot on pour over. If you order a latte, cortado,, cappuccino, or anything else, they are all consistent and excellent. Others have mentioned the great atmosphere and service and I would agree, both are exceptional. Opted for the a Nutella and Banana Crepe, pretty good. Would recommend. We went early in the morning so was pretty empty but the decor and ambience are nice. There's a cozy little corner in the back with a donation library. These aren't dog-eared books but all in pretty good shape, if you like to read you can grab a bargain. Two coffees, one crepe $13, and it was worth the money. Will be visiting more often. read more
