I stopped by on a Friday and it was crowded but not so much that I couldn't find a seat. There was actually some seating available both inside and out. I chose inside and enjoyed my cold brew with oat milk and got some work done. A couple of friends met up and they noted we were in "productive mode," so we limited the chat until our lunch break when we headed out. I'll definitely return to Pilgrim Coffee on future visits to the area!

Of the 4 shops we visited this was by far the weakest of the presentations and offerings. We received a 4oz sample of their Ranger Maple Latte and a 5 minute presentation on the business. The drink is tasty but definitely not on the same level as what other shops were providing in the amount of different products offered for samples and certainly not for quantity when focusing on only one product. I was surprised to learn that Front Range is owned by the "Made in Kansas City" retail chain. No offense to the presenter, she was welcoming and friendly, I just think a more detailed presentation of the company as a whole could have been given. I look around, take in the atmosphere, smell the coffee in the air, and just let a smile happen. The vibe matters to me, and so do the baristas. You can feel when they bring a warm presence - it makes the whole experience better. Anyway, back to the coffee. I was there with a friend, took one sip, and instantly knew... For reference, my top coffee places for the greater KC area are: Hi Hat, Good Karma Coffee, Blip, and the Roasterie. I like balanced, smooth, medium-roast espressos that aren't too acidic. I also enjoy adding oat milk to my coffees. Of note: the place is microscopic, so don't plan on drinking there or meeting with friends there. Treat this place as a to-go stop, and you'll be golden. They have ample plug-ins, small tables, larger tables, two non-gendered restrooms, and an area with bar seating. The staff have always been lovely, and the place has always been super clean. Note: When you enter the cafe, there are a set of stairs you have to walk down to order and get to the seating area. There are no elevators, and I did not notice any ramps. You may have to call to ask them what your options are if you have different mobility needs. For parking, it usually not too bad. It is street-parking, but they're the diagonal kind on either side of the street where you can back into/pull into. They are also free (no meters) without a time limit. Good Karma has easily become one of my favorite spots for coffee and coworking in KC. If I was a mean person, I would be gate-keeping this one!

Pour offers several varieties and packs alllll the freshness and flavor inside those tortillas. You could even pair one up with one of their baked goodies and you're in for a treat. Hint: try a handmade Pop-tart. Parking is super easy, pricing is pretty fair, and the service is local & friendly. Their outside seating is unexpectedly cool as the strip center isn't exactly made for a patio, but Pour placed several tables on the front sidewalk and around the side in the shade for a nice touch. Inside, the space is small with four or five tables outer side of the shop and a bookshelf with various book genres. As you go in, you will find the coffee counter and some more tables for seating. I enjoyed my time here, looking at the decor and fine atmosphere. I had a cafe latte, a London Fog tea with vanilla syrup, and a slice of cinnamon bread. The drinks and bread tasted okay, but nothing special. The service was fast and the staff was very sweet and kind. I would still suggest this place to everyone more for its atmosphere than the food and non alcoholic drinks.
