While on a family vacation in the Midwest, Hello Kitty Armageddon dropped at Starbucks on November 6. Luckily, led by store manager, Nellee, the team at this Liberty location went above and beyond in customer service to effectively communicate and deliver the last two Hello Kitty plush toys for my girlfriend. This store, the busiest in the area, was so kind and welcoming to my girlfriend and made sure that they delivered great hospitality and newly-dropped Peppermint Mocha magic for us and the constant flow of customers all morning long. I just wanted to take a moment to personally thank Nellee and the female-powered team at this location for going above and beyond during this particular visit. The store is light, bright and stocked with holiday cheer, able to handle the hustle and bustle of walk in and drive-thru traffic as we kick off this busy time of year. Our hot and cold Peppermint Mocha drinks were tasty and personalized with uplifting messages to start our day. Plenty of parking in a busy retail storefront location. Lots of table space, clean bathrooms and well-stocked merchandise items as well...only a few less Hello Kitty items. read more

What ever happened to Starbucks correcting your drink when they get it wrong? Not at this gem of a store. Nope, if they get your $5 coffee wrong they hand you an extra cup with the ingredients they forgot and wish you luck. Never mind that the original cup is too full for the extra ingredients. And why did they get rid of their station with stirring sticks, extra sugar packs, half-in-half. It's like they lock you in to a terrible coffee experience. No modifications to there errors allowed. And how can a Starbucks have so many people working, so few people in the store, a short line in the drive thru but still get half the order wrong? read more

This place was packed (mostly the drive thru) when we arrived late morning on a Thursday. I sat in the lot and used my mobile app to place an order. I counted to 10 before leaving my car, bracing myself for what was sure to be a long wait. By the time I got inside (less than a minute) one of my drinks was being set down to be picked up and he was putting the lid on my second drink. I was impressed! Now, I know that I have the Gold status or whatever they call it that is supposed to get your order prepared faster, but I was very impressed with the speed at this location. read more

So I hand an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and my son had the chocolate chip Frappuccino. For lunch he had two bacon and Gouda sandwiches and I had a spinach and feta wrap. Starbucks isn't the trendiest caffeine emporium around but if we're being honest Liberty isn't a very trendy town so, I wasn't exactly on the hunt for a hipster hometown coffee shop to grab a quick brew. Starbucks was going to have to do. The first no-no, as a former Starbucks employee, was the bad decision to start hot bar training a new barista at 8:30 am on a weekday. Just why? Another no-no, I ordered a decaf tall brewed coffee, now I know decaf is not a popular bean and therefor isn't brewed as regularly as the other specialty brews (such as caffiene heavy Blonde), and was quickly rang out for such. However, a few minutes later out of the side of my eye I caught another barisita preparing a pour over, most of the time this would have been a major plus (fresh coffee at a corportate chain yay!) but today I was in a major hurry and pressed for time. So, I interjected and she offered me a solution, a decaf Americano. This is a fine compromise however, it would have been preferred to be told while ordering that the decaf wasn't fresh/was out so that I could have came up with a second drink. For these few reasons I suspect this Starbucks has a few training issues to iron out but the quality of my coffee met my expectations of what Starbucks is consistent with. read more

While going through drive thru we were having second thoughts on driving that far so we asked the sweet gal at the drive thru window "we are heading on a road trip do you recommend Texas or Chicago .. she hesitated a brief moment and said "Chicago" ! Don't bother placing a mobile order here. They only care about orders placed in store or through their drive though. Waited 30+ minutes in store for a mobile order I placed 15 minutes before even arriving. Saw multiple people place orders in store and receive their drinks before my own. I understand places are busy right now but disable the mobile order feature if your store can't keep up with them. Save everyone the trouble. Only redeeming thing about this whole experience is the cashier who was able to refund my order quickly. Just go to the one on Cookingham - I placed a mobile order as I was leaving this store and it was ready by the time I got there just 5 minutes up the road! read more

I just started a new job in Liberty and the convenience a accuracy and speed of this drive thru is going to be a bad thing on my budget. They say that location is key, well this Starbucks has a great location and is speedy to get my morning Venti Bold coffee with cream. I love Starbucks just as much as the next person does. I'm your typical white girl and some sweet flavored coffee that some people don't even consider coffee! This Starbucks is truly great. They are always fast and friendly. There hasn't been a time where I have waited too long, or an order messed up. This location I am even comfortable ordering over mobile because I know they don't mess it up! I highly recommend this location. Just like every typical Starbucks, it has free WiFi, good dim lighting, and lots of mugs to buy. My ONLY complain is the way the drive thru entrance gets clogged. But that's the designers fault not the Starbucks! read more

Poor quality and resolution options. I visited this Starbucks today and was disappointed with both drinks ordered. I got them for myself and to deliver to a friend at work. One was a white mocha frappe and the other was a caramel crunch frappe. Both had a strong gingerbread flavor. I didn't discover the problem until I had delivered while on break. I called the store and the guy that answered the phone seemingly didn't care much about service and pretty much dismissed everything as making the wrong drink. The only option for resolution was to bring back and get new. The drinks we ordered were completely different and really should have been made correctly in the beginning. I believe their cleaning processes are lacking and they are not cleaning/sanitizing in between orders. Drinks the primary product of Starbucks they should be correct and consistent. Furthermore, the options for resolving also need some work. Me going out of my way to drive back to wait another 15 minutes for them to fix an issue which should have never happened is very poor service. They need to do a better job read more

Aaaa, Starbucks. I very much have a love-hate relationship with Starbucks. I do not like supporting national corporations when I can go to a local place, but I very much like the consistency that comes with the corporate structure. So, with that being said, this place is a typical Starbucks: studio lighting, trendy, hipster music and art, and, of course, mildly comfortable seating options. But, it does have a spacious layout and a reasonably good outdoor seating area. The offerings here are not unique (it is a Starbucks after all), but the baristas here are friendly and willing to make customer drinks. All in all, if you're looking for a Starbucks, I recommend this one. read more

This Starbucks is infested with gnats. The case where they keep their food had about 20 gnats flying around. I still reluctantly ordered a drink only to sit down with my husband to be attacked by more gnats. We left due to all the gnats it was disgusting. Great customer service. I like how after a few visits, the staff starts to recognize you and call you by name. If the order needs remade or updated, they are more than happy to do it. While a bit noisy to work in the mornings, the bustle makes it interesting for people watching and meeting with friends. It's typically fun around 9 and 10, so finding a seat in the snug interior is tough. The large outside patio helps with that in warm weather. read more

It's hard for me to rate Starbucks locations. I feel I'm doing them a disservice by just noting that the location is just like the other 20,000-something locations (though with few exceptions, that's true). So, assuming you know about Starbucks, I'll just note the things that standout here. 1) It's difficult or impossible to spend any time there because the music is loud - and by "loud", I mean too loud to have a normal conversation with the person sitting next to you. I assume this is to keep people from staying too long. It works. 2) The parking lot is tiny (again, probably so as not to encourage people to come in and stay a while). 3) Drive-thru traffic stacks up from two directions so you have to hope everyone plays fair and tries to let people merge into the line according to who arrived first. It doesn't always end up that way, making for a frustrating experience. 4) I don't go there often but turn over seems high. It's unlikely you're going to find a barista that has ever seen you before. Sorry to my friends who run locally owned shops. People occasionally give me Starbucks gift cards that I need to use. read more

Starbucks isn't where you go for good coffee, I know to expect meh every time I go to one. But it's usually okay when I'm in a hurry and desperate. But this one is consistently the worst thing I have ever drank. I've given it a few chances and every time the coffee is burnt, my almond milk curdled and the store is dirty. here's the thing, starbucks serves decent coffee with a decent wait time. what really stands out to me about this location & about the institution in general is that i ALWAYS know what to expect. there isn't a single day i go to starbucks and have an unreasonable wait time or a messed up order. as a person who appreciates coffee, caffeine, and consistency, the C's of life, i feel that starbucks does a noteworthy job of fulfilling those C's. i would highly recommend starbucks, particularly this location, to anyone who doesn't already have preconceived biases against coffee corporations. read more

I have been going to Starbucks for YEARS. My two favorite drinks are an iced almond milk latte and a pinkity drinkity. I do love these drinks, but most of their stuff is way overrated and overpriced. There are so many amazing small, artsy coffee shops that don't get the recognition they deserve because of chain coffee shops like Starbucks. This is probably the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been in. The cashier grabbed one of our drink cups around the rim and then stuck her fingers inside my cup while writing on the cup. I asked her to redo mine, but she still grabbed it around the rim. There didn't appear to be a manager on duty, or I would have spoken with them. The cleanliness of the bathroom was marginal (I have seen cleaner at gas stations), and the parking lot was full of litter and cigarette butts. I will not be back. read more

The location is very convenient and they do well handling the large volume of caffeine-dependent suburbanites that pack the drive-thru.
