Made a couples appt for my husband and I for his birthday. My massage specialist was named Rita. I asked for a Swedish light 1-2 massage. Her touch was light, but surprisingly strong. She seemed to find all my sore muscles, working up to a strong touch, holding it then releasing. I was sore in places I didn't even realize! I loved my session. It's clear to me I need to come more often! The facilities are clean, and the rooms are dimly lit and soothing. Soft relaxing music played and we were given cool water and chocolates after. I think I finally found an affordable place for my massage needs! After a horrible experience earlier in the year by making a 90 mins massage at a place over never gone to before and then having it be painful as ever, I've been super skeptical of reviews on massage places. I highly considered going to some places that are priced higher, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. I had called on a Thursday to make an appt for Saturday. They had some but not a lot of openings left. I ended up having canceled plans on Friday and called first thing they opened to see if they could move me for that afternoon. I typically like getting a female masseuse but only a male was available. I was in so much shoulder pain that I didn't care at that point. Came to my massage right on time, small parking lot but was able to snatch the last spot. Filled out an intake and was on the heated massage table not much longer after. The oils they used were nice and warm too. Goal for the massage: get out the shoulder knots and relax. Goals achieved. Could I have asked for it to be more pressure? Yes, but it was perfect for what I needed. My only complaint was that I went on a weekday afternoon and it seemed that there is some loud construction happening, maybe warning customers beforehand? Didn't bother me too much because I really enjoyed the massage. A bottle of water was offered after. For $65/hour (paid cash), which is almost unheard of on the westside, and great service and quality, I will be back. read more

There's a parking lot in front (shared with other businesses) that you can park in during your treatment. I found Overose because I was eating in the area and saw their sign. Right after they opened a car hit their entrance which is why it's a little under construction looking but do not let that deter you! They have great service - I've booked treatments in person and over the phone and they're accommodating and make the process easy. If you have a treatment prior to 2pm you get a slight discount too. Their treatment rooms are simple with mini space heaters, dim lighting, and heated pads under the beds. The beds themselves are comfy too. My most recent 60 minute massage was with Amy and it was seriously one of the best massages I've ever had. I had medium pressure and she continually asked if it was good or I wanted softer/lighter, and I was able to note which areas I wanted to focus on. It was a combination of massage and stretching which I loved! You can pay in cash or card (extra $2 charge) and they give you water and a little treat when you're leaving too. read more

It was second time I came here and I would like to recommend this place. It is between rose ave and overland blvd. People nice and friendly and rooms are clean. When I came here, I have overose massage which is signature from this place. It is similar combo massage but the therapy used aroma oil for massage whith staighting and added hot stones for released tie musel area while I will get relaxing from aroma oil. Writing an update of my previous review. I booked an appointment about an hour before the time and suddenly came down with a migraine and decided it was best to cancel. I called out of courtesy to notify the desk associate I would not be available and she had the nastiest attitude. I told her I was not feeling well and unfortunately had to cancel and she seemed very pissed off that I was canceling. I don't know what else she wanted considering I made an appointment last minute. I come here all the time and it was such off-putting of an interaction. She ended up saying "well next time you need to let me know earlier" and hung up. I just had the best massage I've had in a really long time. Overose Spa is a small massage spa tucked away in a little shopping plaza with a small private lot. It's in the same building as the Rose Market. Their waiting room is tiny but that's because they don't keep you waiting. They offer a few massage options, but I picked the classic 60 min Swedish massage and opted for medium to hard pressure. My masseuse delivered! The pressure was fantastic and she worked out the knots in my shoulder and neck area like I asked for at the beginning of the massage. I paid in cash to avoid their credit card fee. I also tipped in cash since I'm sure the masseuse prefers it. I was really close to falling asleep towards the end so I kind of wish I opted for the 90 minute version. Perhaps next time! read more

I decided to get myself a birthday massage! Booked the Overose Signature for 60m online with Windy. When I arrived the first person to greet me was super sweet and escorted me to the room. My first impression was that the room smelled good. She let me know that she was turning on the heat to help with circulation and if it was too hot I could just let Windy know. Windy was really lovely as well. It was my first massage and she checked in a few times to ask about the pressure and to reassure me that if it was too firm or not firm enough I could just let her know. The massage was delightful and the hot stones were my favorite part. It was a full body massage and I wasn't sure where to ask for extra focus, but Windy picked up on the fact that my shoulders needed the extra attention and focused there. As someone that regularly uses oils to moisturize I loved the scent of the (organic!) massage oil. When I went to pay they gave me a rewards/stamp card which I'll absolutely be using! It was a lovely way to spend the morning of my birthday and I definitely won't be waiting until next year to go again. read more

WOW. What an experience! I am truly in AWE of this place. REALLY easy booking where you can book online without a credit card hold. Always makes me more willing to book! The rooms are quiet, calm music, water fountains and very CLEAN. I had Amy and she was fantastic for a deep tissue massage and really pays attention to the areas you need. My wife and I sent my mom to get a massage here. The last time we were here was when it was Chiva massage back before the pandemic. The appointment making was so easy. Went online and booked time and date. It was super simple, plus I hate calling because never know when it's really busy. You can pick who you want as a masseuse ( female, male or by names of the masseuses). When I dropped my mom off for her appointment we were greeted by two nice female masseuse ( Amy and Cartoon, who was going to my moms masseuse). I paid and tipped her ( which you should always tip because I always hear about people complaining about tipping or not tipping at all). I gave cartoon a $20 tip which she was so thankful for. She was super sweet. My mom came back after her massage and was so happy. All I got was a higher end Thai style massage - a lot of back walking, massaging with feet and elbows - at some times harsh....the massage was more routine and mechanical than tuned in. I booked a one hour deep tissue massage with Hanna. She was fantastic. The spa was very clean and relaxing. Hanna and the other staff were so nice! During the actual massage she was very attentive and excellent with pressure and technique. She also stretched me out and gave me instruction how to stretch to help my back pain for the future. I got a Swedish with the $5 hot stone add on. This is probably my favorite part of this joint. They have TONS of add ons, all for $5! Overose Spa is truly a hidden gem! I've been coming here regularly for over a year! As of right now, for the current price, I think this place is very hard to beat. Pros: There's a small free parking lot out front; if it's full there is neighborhood parking. I usually don't have issues with parking They're very accommodating and I can easily book a massage last minute (usually for the next day or so) The pricing is very reasonable (currently $65 for 60 mins) for the quality of the massage. The massage tables are heated, have detachable head rests, and the rooms are clean and cozy They have a loyalty stamp card (amazing!)- for every 10 massages you get one free! The staff is very nice, responsive, polite and friendly! I've never had a bad experience! They can accommodate couples massages! Cons: There is a small fee for credit cards usually a few dollars so booking online requires you to pay a little extra (I usually call and make my appointment) It seems like they've had quite a bit of employee turnover over and a few of my favorite masseuses no longer work there not sure if it's just my luck or something else. The rooms are separated by walls, however the individual rooms have a curtain door rather than wooden doors, so at times you can hear people walking or talking but this is rare from my experience and not extremely disruptive. They are located next to a large street, so at times you can hear cars passing by There is a tip poster (suggesting $15 or $20 or $25 (?$30 tips) based on massage time and by percentage of the massage cost, the recommended tip is on the high side Overall, I'd still recommend Overose to any of my friends looking for a great quality massage at a reasonable price. The staff is hardworking, kind, super nice! Plus I can't get over the loyalty card/rewards program lol. The facility is clean, cozy but does lack the absolute privacy that higher end spas may offer. Overrose spa There are many aspects needed to run a business successfully. You can give halfway decent massages, but if you have bad business tactics and bad treatment tactics of people and/or discriminate against paying consumers, then you don't deserve peoples' business. Review sites are often skewed and I was not surprised to see already a few reviews that touched on some of the issues that this group has:: 1) Thé massage itself was halfway decent , except for the lady bruising me on my legs, arms and back. I had over clarified with her in the beginning to use a lot of cream and not oil but she seemed like she was in a rush when ironically I sat and waited for her as she was 15 minutes late for me (I arrived there 10 minutes early too). 2) duplicity: making all modes of communication accessible: they rarely to never pick up the phone but when they call, they never leave a message with their name and what it's regarding when my phone message specifically says to do so as a common courtesy if they want their call returned. Whenever I call, I had to have called five times at least every time, and let it ring each time for at least 20 rings each only to find that they hardly pick up 2) While I was happy to give a 22% tip which is higher than the normal 15% that is standard, this place's expectations of tip amounts is outrageously highway robbery as evidenced in the pic. Although I was half asleep from the massage, the lady was trying to get me to say ´yes' to turning on the lights so that I would see the sign indicating their demand for tip amount. I just don't have that kind of money to give out in addition to the prices for the massages. 3) Communication: Left a message (this time answering machine came on) that I had to cancel an appointment and asked for confirmation of receiving cancellation - they never acknowledged it- plus when the owner texts me later to cancel on me the session I had, also refused to give a reason why and refused numerous times to give their name as well as asking about rescheduling the appointment 4) Listening skills are very poor and they evade answering standard business questions for clarification. the first time I tried to set up an appointment, there was a road block by the police due to a bad accident and so there was no way I was able to get to location from my end in a timely manner - and yet, the front desk was still pushing for me to come, acting as if they heard nothing I just explained at least three times. 5) I am a very private person and while I was more than happy to give out my number, they insisted on pressuring me (more then three times) to give out my email address as well . No thank you to junk mail and more of my private info. Perhaps others might be okay with this one, but from my experience and gaining a great deal of wisdom from it, handing out private info definitely not the case for me. No thanks. 6) Refuse to leave messages on my voicemail despite specifying in phone message to do so and yet they expect me to do so if they call. Plus whenever I call, they never pick up anyway. Keep saying they'll change that but never do Thankfully most massage therapists and parlors 99% of the time are NOT indispensable, so I will be going elsewhere from now on- a multitude of other places and private massueses to pick from. I just don't have the time and energy for this for all reasons mentioned above and potentially additional that I cannot think of for now and clearly discriminatory treatment tactics and bad business practices are unacceptable among many others. At the very least, they need to PICK UP THEIR PHONE and return phone calls Time to get better massages and service elsewhere. This group can run the risk of being reported to the federal trade commission too if they don't change. read more

Overose Spa is absolutely amazing! Looks like they just opened up recently but once you go in you're in a total state of bliss. They have soothing waterfall sounds, calming music, woven baskets for your belongings, plush blankets and heated massage beds. They also have a really high quality rose oil they use during the massage. My therapists Lily & Amy even upgraded my massage and incorporated hot stones!! My friend bought me the gift certificate for my birthday gift. I decided to call them and book for 90 mins. The parking very convenience. You can in the plaza. Wow wow I'm so impressive when I step to the room very clean and nice smell like a zen style!! I like deep tissue.
