Overose Spa is absolutely amazing! Looks like they just opened up recently but once you go in you're in a total state of bliss. They have soothing waterfall sounds, calming music, woven baskets for your belongings, plush blankets and heated massage beds. They also have a really high quality rose oil they use during the massage. My therapists Lily & Amy even upgraded my massage and incorporated hot stones!! Amazing service & one of the best deep tissue massages I've had. Even got some cute bath salts from them. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Overrose spa There are many aspects needed to run a business successfully. You can give halfway decent massages, but if you have bad business tactics and bad treatment tactics of people and/or discriminate against paying consumers, then you don't deserve peoples' business. Review sites are often skewed and I was not surprised to see already a few reviews that touched on some of the issues that this group has:: 1) Thé massage itself was halfway decent , except for the lady bruising me on my legs, arms and back. I had over clarified with her in the beginning to use a lot of cream and not oil but she seemed like she was in a rush when ironically I sat and waited for her as she was 15 minutes late for me (I arrived there 10 minutes early too). 2) duplicity: making all modes of communication accessible: they rarely to never pick up the phone but when they call, they never leave a message with their name and what it's regarding when my phone message specifically says to do so as a common courtesy if they want their call returned. Whenever I call, I had to have called five times at least every time, and let it ring each time for at least 20 rings each only to find that they hardly pick up 2) While I was happy to give a 22% tip which is higher than the normal 15% that is standard, this place's expectations of tip amounts is outrageously highway robbery as evidenced in the pic. Although I was half asleep from the massage, the lady was trying to get me to say ´yes' to turning on the lights so that I would see the sign indicating their demand for tip amount. I just don't have that kind of money to give out in addition to the prices for the massages. 3) Communication: Left a message (this time answering machine came on) that I had to cancel an appointment and asked for confirmation of receiving cancellation - they never acknowledged it- plus when the owner texts me later to cancel on me the session I had, also refused to give a reason why and refused numerous times to give their name as well as asking about rescheduling the appointment 4) Listening skills are very poor and they evade answering standard business questions for clarification. the first time I tried to set up an appointment, there was a road block by the police due to a bad accident and so there was no way I was able to get to location from my end in a timely manner - and yet, the front desk was still pushing for me to come, acting as if they heard nothing I just explained at least three times. 5) I am a very private person and while I was more than happy to give out my number, they insisted on pressuring me (more then three times) to give out my email address as well . No thank you to junk mail and more of my private info. Perhaps others might be okay with this one, but from my experience and gaining a great deal of wisdom from it, handing out private info definitely not the case for me. No thanks. 6) Refuse to leave messages on my voicemail despite specifying in phone message to do so and yet they expect me to do so if they call. Plus whenever I call, they never pick up anyway. Keep saying they'll change that but never do Thankfully most massage therapists and parlors 99% of the time are NOT indispensable, so I will be going elsewhere from now on- a multitude of other places and private massueses to pick from. I just don't have the time and energy for this for all reasons mentioned above and potentially additional that I cannot think of for now and clearly discriminatory treatment tactics and bad business practices are unacceptable among many others. At the very least, they need to PICK UP THEIR PHONE and return phone calls Time to get better massages and service elsewhere. This group can run the risk of being reported to the federal trade commission too if they don't change. read more

I come here often and I really love the place. I keep coming back for Windy! She is my favorite. She is fantastic at what she does, and very kind. Overall Overose spa is clean, well-managed, and the staff is always so sweet and inviting. Recently I did get a massage with a different therapist that I did not enjoy. It seemed as though she didn't know what she was doing in the slightest. I asked for what I wanted multiple times but she wasn't receptive. I was disappointed. Wow wow I'm so impressive when I step to the room very clean and nice smell like a zen style!! I like deep tissue. Super friendly staff: the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the receptionist and were asked if this was our first time. My masseuse asked me twice if the pressure was adequate, and they made us feel comfortable giving them feedback. They also expressed a lot gratitude for our tip. It feels customary to tip for services like a massage, but I just thought it was really nice of them to thank us for our consideration. Organized: Easy parking or plenty of street parking. Upon arriving, we were given information sheets about which areas needed work, which areas were sensitive, and there was effectively no wait for our appointment. Great value and service: one of the best massages I have ever received. This was a $100 massage for almost half the price. The person that did my massage did a great job in stretching me and focusing on the areas that need to be fix. During the massage the massage hurt but I felt better after. I have tried so many massage places within LA and OC county and I am so happy that I came across Overose Spa! There wasn't anything that I disliked about this place, everything was perfection! I prefer making appointments online and love that they have this option for booking. It was super convenient and easy. I scheduled a deep tissue massage with Rita and I was so impressed with her skills. I came in with so much stiffness and body ache, but left feeling so recharged and refreshed! Because my pressure preference is FIRM and she delivered that, I definitely have to tip at least 45% & above! Had an amazing experience, glad to support this new local business , the rooms and restrooms are clean and inviting. I had a two hour deep tissue massage and it was amazing , the masseuse bed had breathing holes and not a head rest on top, the only problem I had were parts of my face and forehead started to get uncomfortable through the breathing hole because my head wasn't a comfortable fit. Reading some past reviews it is unfortunate the walls are paper thin and I could hear noises from the lobby, and other rooms through the ambient music , which took me out of my peaceful relaxation... I would suggest possibly some rain/ noise canceling machines that would cancel out some of the distracting noises you could probably get on Amazon and have them playing on low in each room. Disappointment. Paid for a "Deep Tissue" Massage and despite articulating specifically to both front desk and my masseuse, I received a basic standard pressure massage. My defined area of discomfort was not addressed any more than any other area. It was like a factory massage. After the front desk person asked "How was it" I was honest in expressing my disappointment and reminded her that I asked for a deep tissue massage and from someone on their staff that could accomplish that. She just charged me and suggested I try Thai massage next time. I mean... I could go on but suffice to say I would not go back here.
