This has been known to be the place to stay in Bend. My friend and I came here or a weekend get away and we were just delighted during our stay here. I've never been to a hotel where the concierge contacts you for specifics on how you want your room to be presented. The valet guy was washing the windows on my car as I was on my way to breakfast at McKay's. The rooms are very spacious, modern and sheek, a bit pricy but definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top notch modern 4 diamond award winning hotel in the heart of Bend! You're within 2 miles of the best shops and restaurants in town. Their room service personal is awesome and accommodated us even when we walked in at 10pm. From the moment we walked in the door, to the minute we checked out, everything was phenomenal. We were really impressed by the staff and how attentive they were. We had cocktails at 10 Below (restaurant in the hotel) and chose to go someplace else for dinner. Big mistake, we should have just stayed there! The rooms were great! Hubby took me there for my 50th Birthday for 4 nights. We had the suite with soaking tub and outside deck. We are in the hotel business so can be a bit picky.....very happy with the room! My husband took me to the Oxford to celebrate my birthday (because he is wonderful like that). AMAZING! The bed was so comfortable, the service was helpful, and the bathroom felt like home! Most hotel bathrooms have a "hotel bathroom" feel but this one was incredible, natural tile everywhere, a great soaking tub, Perfection! Another highlight was the Bellatazza coffee and french press. I had thought it would be fun to grab coffees from Thump (just across the street) but with the french press there was no need. The boutique feel is a first for Bend and absolutely wonderful! My husband, 3yr old and I stayed at the Oxford Hotel over Mother's Day weekend. From the star we were very impressed. When the bellman gave us an overview of our room our 3 yr old was very excited to be there and asked a lot of questions. The bellman treated him with great respect and engaged appropriately with him. We loved the design, beds, layout and eco-friendly approach to the hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful as well. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Bend area for a weekend. It's right in the middle of the downtown area with great dining, shops, parks all around. We had an introductory rate of $169. Perfect price point in my mind. I'll be a little sad when they raise that rate. read more

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at this elegant charming boutique hotel. My man lives to ski so with a sauna, steam room and hot tub for after skiing we were in heaven. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the rooms are super plush. They are pet friendly which is a super bonus and your pet has their own bed in the room and even receives their own collapsable bowl to take home. The pet fee is actually $55 per pet per night which is way high. i thought it was just $55. I would stay again but without our pets. read more

We had a great time here. The hotel is close to everything and there is a lot to do in Bend. The staff treated us with great professionalism and they were friendly too! Valets were knowledgeable about the area and were extremely helpful as were the desk staff. The room was very comfortable, clean and green. The happy hour at 10 Below was exceptional. Great food. Great drinks. Great, knowledgeable staff. Local products were premiered and tasted great. Dishes were beautifully presented with great colors, textures and taste. Happy hour was reasonably priced. I put this on par with the Park Hyatt in Hamburg. It was a wonderful experience! Nice people, great interior decorating. The rooms were large and nicely appointed. After reading all the great reviews, l was a little disappointed with our stay. The hotel is very nice. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The rooms are large and nicely decorated; the baths have both stall shower and tub. They have separate water closets. Our room had a wet bar, refrigerator and microwave. Our room, 209 was over the Tangerine Spa. As a result we were treated to a constant flow of music from below during business hours. One morning around 10:00 a.m. we returned to our room just as housekeeping was entering our room. We asked that they return in a hour. We returned around 2:00 p.m. to find that the room had not been cleaned. We called the front desk to ask that they send housekeeping to clean the room. The room was not cleaned until 3:00 p.m. We placed a cardboard six pack bottle carrier in a cabinet under the wet bar sink to use to bring some bottles homes with us. The day we left, when we opened the cabinet to find that the carrier had been removed. Other than these incidents we enjoyed our stay. read more

We recently stayed at the Oxford for two nights on a circuit around the state. It was a delightful surprise to arrive at this boutique hotel after our drive up from Ashland. Some of the things that stood out were the generous size of the rooms (esp for a boutique hotel- I mean, they have a pillow menu!) the quality of restaurant and hiking recs from the concierges (notably, the older woman who sat near the window), the free bike service and helpful bellmen, and the amazing sauna and steam room (try to stay on the same floor as these). We passed on the restaurant which looked more flash than subtsance and had amazing meals at joolz and zydeco. Drop half a star for valet-only parking options. A gem in Bend. read more

I stayed here in Nov 2010 for my birthday with my husband. I live in Bend, but was taking a 'staycation' away from my kids. I really loved everything about it, but had a TERRIBLE night of sleep. First off, our room was hot, and I didn't bother turning down the heat (my fault). Second off, they only had a comforter on the bed and NO SHEETS! I ended up getting up at 3am and getting one of their bamboo towels to drape over me because I enjoy something lighter than a comforter. So I was very disappointed in my one night away from my kids in YEARS to get the crappiest night of sleep in a while. But most of this is not a huge deal. I still thought it was cool and hip and gave it 4 stars. It would have gotten 5 if they had freaking sheets on their beds. read more

Beautiful hotel, very friendly service. I loved all of the great local paraben-free Dani bath products and the use of green, sustainable materials. Wonderful attention to detail in the entire place - the decor, lighting, wallpaper/textured walls are very chic. The restaurant downstairs is really something, I would liken to upscale lounge, and the food was quite good. The staff was very friendly, particularly the bell captain, Todd. The steam shower and sauna were nice guest features. We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return when we're in Bend again. read more

This hotel is awesome! As with seemingly everyone in Bend, the staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable for a hotel this modern and new. The restaurant is very good as well. It was also nice to have a fridge and kitchenette in our room so we didn't have to go out for every meal...though you're so centrally located, the restaurants nearby are very tempting. I travel quite a bit for work, staying in hotels almost weekly. Typically they can range anywhere from chain 3-star properties to boutique hotels to airport hotels. Our stay last weekend at The Oxford in Bend was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I've had. From the friendly and informative valets in the front of the hotel to the front desk staff and concierge we loved each interaction with Oxford employees. In addition to the staff, the hotel itself was amazing. Beautifully designed and well thought out. The attention to detail in the rooms was one of my favorite things. Instruction cards printed out on how to use the various amenities plus a french press with fresh ground coffee refreshed each day was awesome. We especially loved the complimentary bikes available at the valet desk. They were also quick to offer up suggestions for breweries to ride to as well as restaurants and coffee shops. We'll definitely visit the Oxford in Bend again as well as check out their other properties. read more

Nice hotel, location, restaurant, bar and staff. However, I had the worst night's sleep due to the beds and pillows. My wife and rolled right to the center of our queen bed and the pillows were rock hard. In the morning, I learned that the hotel has a "pillow menu", so be sure to check it out. Stayed here for 3 nights and had an overall positive experience. Location is superb, convenient to downtown Bend, a nice river walk, and a short drive to many adventures and neighboring towns. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making sure you're taken care of from the moment you walk through the door. The rooms have tons of space. The soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom was amazing, really great quality. The hotel is also very green, with energy saving tactics put into place it seems wherever they can apply them. Make sure to check/adjust the thermostat before calling it a night, though, as I had to get up midway through our first night there because the room had gotten so hot. Parking in the garage is free for the night after 3pm through to 10 am the next morning! I will certainly stay here again, and would also recommend it to others heading to Bend. read more

Beginning with Abigail at the front desk to the valets and wait staff I was greeted by all with a smile and a "How are you?" All throughout the hotel the staff would greet me and say hello. I travel quite a bit and this is by far the best hotel I have ever been to. I am a big fan of W hotels and the Westin, but this boutique hotel blew me away. Not only did they pick me up from the airport and take me to the airport, they made me feel like this was my home. Each person that works there is beyond nice and so helpful. The rooms are so large and comfy and just gorgeous. The food was incredible and the bar was fantastic. They even paid for a cab ride for me when the shuttle was unavailable. The Oxford goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay and a wonderful experience. This place is right downtown so you can walk around downtown and have a great time. This place is so beautiful and I cannot wait to come back and stay again! read more

This place is awesome! Big friendly dog chilling in the lobby (who won't bother you if your not a dog person), and clean, modern room, with an awesome balcony. Excellent service, and awesome pillows for order from a "menu". Awesome top floor exercise center with a steam room, hot tub, and sauna. We got upgraded for free, and ended up staying another night. Location, location, location! I was solo while my husband worked and this hotel was perfect for me to have as "home base" so I could explore the town. Well-appointed, great service, comfortable (I bought one of the pillows from the "pillow menu" online today) and upscale without being ridiculously expensive. Staff is super friendly. The restaurant downstairs is really excellent but you have to get beyond the fact that it's tucked away below street...no windows. Jennifer in housekeeping - shout out! Nice service. The only minus? The hotel has nice decor, good location, and the bed was comfortable, but I would not recommended staying if you have two or more pets....it's a ripoff. We booked through a third party website and did not realize that the "pet package" was not optional. It's $55 per pet for a dog bed/pet, treats, and a bowl/pet....all things that you already have when traveling with your pets. The bowl is the only thing you keep. The "pet package" is also subject to tax. There are other hotels in the same price range that offer these things for free. read more

Our experience at the Oxford Hotel was without a doubt the finest lodging experience we have ever had. After a disaster with hotel reservations.com, (do not make the mistake of using them) I called the hotel directly for reservations. After explaining that it was my wife's birthday, they upgraded my request. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find a birthday card for my wife and a little note that said to look in the refrigerator. We found a bottle of wine and a delicious chocolate and fruit plate. When we inquired about parking our motor home and told them about our dinner plans, they said they would take us to dinner in the hotel's Tesla Model X! Wow! Every single person that worked there was incredibly nice and helpful. We felt like a king and queen. We have been blessed to travel world wide and nothing, anywhere, compares. read more

I have traveled a lot for work over the past 7 years and this hotel ranks near the top few I've stayed at. I had a top floor room and great view. I loved that they had ground coffee and a French press in the room vs. the pod machine. I loved all the organic lotion and shampoo for the bathroom. Great tub for soaking and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on. I like that I'm right downtown and walked to local shops. Room service for breakfast was great too. The staff polite and friendly. The fitness room was somewhat small and limited but considering there was only 2 of us working out, it was good with top quality machines. I for sure will put this at the top of my list for my next trip to Bend. read more

Absolutely fantastic hotel. I'm staying in a 6th floor room with a large balcony (nice little table and chairs to watch the sunset from). Very large room (separate living room, bedroom, bath & shower)... with a nice full kitchen including fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster, tea & french press coffee. TV's in both rooms. Very tastefully decorated and in top-notch shape. Great staff. Easy self-parking in the garage right behind the property (or valet if you feel like it). I'm here for work, but this place makes it feel like a vacation! read more
