Diego answered quickly and gave me a fair quote. I have an older vehicle that requires a longer test. Diego got busy on my truck as soon as I arrived, while I waited in his comfortable AC controlled waiting room. I am so happy to find an honest smog shop that has earned my business. I have brought two of my trucks here to ozone smog. Diego Ortiz has been so Informative one of my truck is from Arizona he help point me In the right the direction. My Durango I had past due registration he help me avoid a trip to that dmv. One stop shop I love it. If you know me I hate the dmv. The wait and line I can't stand it. The waiting room could use a little panache. It is quite bland. But I didn't have to wait being the first to arrive. I watched TV and checked emails while the Smog was being performed. It must have only taken about 15 minutes and my Honda passed with flying colors. The total bill was a respectable $61 which allowed me to renew my registration at AAA minutes later. My other vehicle requires a certification so I will return next week. read more

I was preoccupied on a project when I received the quote and did not ask for itemization or question the estimate - that is ON ME. All the same, the final labor charge came in at $330 plus parts charge of $460 ($230 each). These shocks retail at Shock Warehouse for $54 ea. and Amazon for $49 ea. - that is a markup of 370%. I feel I was gouged $300+ extra for parts. No amount of overhead or handling charge can justify that markup. For that reason I will never go back to Ozzie's Automotive.

After holding it for three days, Vince told me he couldn't figure it out and "doesn't work on valves." This is the same guy who repeatedly mentioned having 45 years of experience and working on Hondas with over 400k Instead of fixing it, he told me to go to the dealer for a $1300 repair he wouldn't or couldn't do--and then charged me $350 for diagnostic time. Imagine being told, "I can't fix it, but you still owe me $350." I feel cheated, because I never said not to do the work--I would have let him fix it. I basically paid $350 for his lack of knowledge. For som eone claiming decades of experience, a basic Honda V6 shouldn't be "too complex." Save yourself the headache, time, and money. If it's not just an oil change or something simple, go straight to a dealer or a shop with trained techs. Thats exactly what I paid 350 for so just start at the dealer.

5 Stars based on customer service alone! Used their website to inquire about their services and received a call with a few minutes! Asked about coming in during my lunch break and about matching a coupon, Diego said no problem. Unfortunately due to time constraints I was unable to wait, but even after I left Diego called me to ask about my visit to the shop and to see about coming back the following day. I've never experienced such great follow up! And this is even with out actually getting service done. I will return to get my smog completed, and will highly recommend anyone looking for their smog to get it done at Ozone. read more

Moved here from Orange County 3 weeks ago and needed to get my 1996 Camry with 370,000 miles on it smoged. I found Ozone on yelp, called and spoke with Diego that I would be coming in tomorrow 30 mins prior to them closing. He was very helpful and accommodating with my busy schedule getting off work so late. I got to speak to Diego while I was watching him run the smog test on my vehicle. Hands down the best smog shop in the desert! I was recommended to ozone smog from a friend and now I see why they sent me to see Diego at Ozone Smog! I called before I came to the shop and he told me all the steps needed to register the vehicle in California. I would need to go to the DMV and register the vehicle in California and get the vehicle weighed since it's a truck from out of state. Diego even stayed late to do the smog and it passed! I called on my lunch break and asked how long. They said 20 minutes. I got right in and they also let you pay your registration right there. SUPER convenient and Diego was very friendly. I'm huge on convenience and this scored big for me. In a perfect world I think ahead and make appointments buuuuut...Lol. $61 out the door with the certificate is the right price as well. Getting smog check is a hassle, no two ways about it. But this place makes it as painless as possible. I first took my Mazda Protege there, then a couple of weeks later my Toyota Tercel. In both instances, the whole process took less than half an hour. The tech was friendly and fast, the price totally reasonable. I'll be bringing my Toyota Highlander here when the time comes. My car required a STAR smog station and they were convenient and reasonably priced. My 2005 Ford Taurus has about 157k miles and I guess California wants to get it off the road. Really can't go wrong with this place. There are no "estimated prices." Prices are listed and there are no surprise fees when the bill comes in. Customer service is professional and friendly. Called to see if we could come in same day and wasn't a problem. $61 for my smog check plus $5 off for a good review. A little hard to find but worth it! I stopped in without an appointment due to an issue with the DMV. They called the guy who performs smog checks, since he happened to be off the property for other work and he arrived in minutes. Once there, he quickly took care of my smog check and I was out the door in no time. Super friendly and fast...what more can you ask for? read more

This place is awesome! I was frantic this morning trying to figure out where I could get a smog done on my car and there were a few places in the area, but this one seemed like the best based on reviews. I was right. I had an appointment at another Smog station who's machine was broken and had only one hour before catching a flight. Ozone took me in and very quickly and efficiently tested my car. They even had the DMV renewal stickers so I was done with the license renewal! I will use them next time and recommend them very strongly. read more

Parents and their local Taxi employer's trust them, so you know they're legit. I went in for my first smog check and was surprised by how easy it all was. Smog Check Service was quick and professional. They even offer to the option to pay for your dmv car registration at the same place. Definitely recommend. read more

This place rocks. Called, made appointment, drove up, they took the car, was in and out in 30 minutes. You can even pay extra to get the registration and tags there! This is what I call exceptional service. Small, privately owned and operated and definitely deserves your business. read more

I called when they opened this morning and the gentleman (Diego) was very polite and told me I didn't need an appointment. I arrived a few hours later and he is performing the Smog inspection as I write this. He again was very polite and told and ready to take care of me right away. read more
