Didn't seem to be a problem with electric, refrigerant, etc. We'd had the unit serviced recently so not much dirt on the unit.. I guess we're lucky because in the few years we've been here both our units have functioned great. Wasn't sure who to call, but we'd had a great experience with the plumbing side of Hansen, so we reached out. Scheduling was very easy. You can do so online, or a real person answers the phone. They offered to have someone out within a few hours! Our problem wasn't that urgent, but it's comforting to know. Benjamin was our technician, and he was great with communication. He diagnosed the problem (leaking fan motor) very quickly, and gave us options for repair. At no time was he pushy about anything, just factual. We were on the fence with repair vs replace, but decided the unit had enough life in it to repair. Ben also gave us figures on replacing with an eye towards the future. He wrote it all up even knowing that we weren't going to buy anything in the short term. This is really excellent customer service, and you can bet when we're ready we will remember. The repairs were done quickly, we got an email with the invoice and pictures of all the areas worked on. The property was left tidy, and it was an overall excellent experience. That was a week ago, and our AC is working better than it has in the past two years.

I sent them photos prior, asked them if they had 0 roofing experience to not accept this job. Low and behold has no roofing experience, told me my brand new 12 year warranty AC setup looks like a$$ & then asked for payment. To the hansen family dispatcher: Next time, just dont lie and be straightforward instead of worrying about bookings.

They submitted an estimate, AHS approved the repair, and then IKMAR completely failed to follow through. My service request started in April 2026. More than three months later, they still had not sent anyone to complete the approved repairs. Their communication was awful, their scheduling was useless, and their lack of accountability was completely unacceptable. This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional service experiences I have ever had. A plumbing company that cannot complete an approved toilet repair after more than three months should not be accepting service calls. IKMAR Plumbing wasted my time, ignored the urgency of the problem, and left my family without a resolution. I would strongly warn others to avoid this company.

A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

This past week, my recirculation heater pump started making a loud noise, which had me worried. I reached out to P&L Plumbing through Yelp, and within minutes, I received a response. They didn't just respond quickly--they were able to come out the same day, which is almost unheard of in the plumbing industry. During the visit, I discovered that not only did I need the recirculation heater pump replaced, but the brass water drain valve on my hot water heater needed attention, new anode rods were necessary, and a sink in my hallway bathroom had suffered from poor flow for years. My toilet has been having some issues for awhile awhile now so I finally got around to finding a plumber. I liked that P&L Plumbing had some honest and reliable reviews to read through and that they have been in the business for awhile now. From the very beginning the process was very easy. I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. They sent me a confirmation through email. Kevin was prompt and very polite. I felt very safe having him in my home. After fixing my toilet problem he even checked out my water softener and gave me some good information about when and how much salt to fill. I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything. We had a leak behind our stove. We called P and L Plumbing. They came out and gave us a worst case scenario. Once they cut a small hole in the wall they were able to give us a better estimate of what was wrong. We had an underground slab leak and they were able to fix it in just a few hours with very little damage to our walls. The price was also much less than the worst case quote they gave us. The two guys, Kevin and Kyle, are very knowledgeable and explained everything well. They wore face masks the entire time they were in our home. I am sounding like a "Broken record" because they are CONSISTANTLY GOOD. This time it was a new Reverse Osmosis . I called Mark he states it must be a bad valve. I paid 375 for the cartridge and now he says the valve is a 1700 dollar job. I let home know that if the valve was bad he should've seen that earlier when he swapped the cartridge out. I let him know I didn't have confidence in them to properly fix the leak. I called a new plumber out. Mark installed the cartridge wrong, he damaged the seal when he put the new cartridge in. I called the company and they still have not returned my call. I feel robbed now. I paid 375 for their guy to damage the cartridge while he's installing it. Maybe they did that on purpose. They knew I would call them with the leak again. Then to hit me with 1700 to change valve out that takes 10 mins to do is crazy! New cartridge correctly installed was 200 bucks from the guy who fixed Master rooters work.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, and while trying to complete some minor upgrades, we discovered mold. We immediately panicked, assuming the absolute worst. After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did. Everyone who came out to our house was incredible, friendly, and deeply professional. They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. Knockout was VERY RESPONSIVE and had a tech out early the next day. Very professional, quickly diagnosed leaking heat exchangers from the cheap builder installed tankless hot water heater. Of course out of warranty, so we discussed the most cost effective and quality options and I decided to have the unit replaced with a more efficient, modern unit with a full 15-year warranty. My tech went to their warehouse and picked up the unit, and within an hour was back and at work pulling down the old unit and installing the new one, complete with all new copper piping. All done after a couple hours and I was so impressed, had him service my under counter water filtration system in kitchen. He cleaned everything up and we walked the home together making sure everything was working. YES!!!! HOT WATER EVERYWHERE!!! And while I don't like having to spend $$$$$ on home repairs, I feel like I got gold treatment in terms of quality, responsiveness and warranty. Super satisfied.
