" Definitely, Not What I Order

PF Chang's is My Favorite Restaurant To Eat At .. However , this Particular location Wasn't The Right Choice ! I was visiting with Family for The Holidays from Houston , Texas . The wait time wasn't the Problem it was the Food started with my appetizer The Spring Rolls Overcooked in Fact Burned Which I Sent Back To Kitchen . I ordered Chicken LO Mein Which was a Combination Of Uneatable Chicken That was Just Like Shoe Leather ! Perhaps , Old Chicken ??? I was Afraid to ingest didn't want to get sick and didn't want to create a unpleasant dinning experience since I had already return the appetizers for a " Do Over "! I ate the Spring Rolls and Noodles .. So Disappointed in My Meal ...

Great location in Allen. The PF Chang continues to keep the high bar. Their best appetizer is the lettuce wraps which is available as a chicken and veggie option. It's a must eat! Within beverages, it's the fresh squeezed tingle beer that tops it all! The service is very good and ambience is inviting as well!

PF Chang's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. We eat here at least twice a month. Service is excellent and the food is always delicious. We made a reservation on their website and was able to walk in and be seated immediately. Tonight we had 2 appetizers because we were starving. The Spicy Tuna Roll and The Fried Green Beans. Both were good, but The Fried Green Beans are my absolute favorite. For dinner we shared The Mongolian Beef which comes with rice and The Shrimp & Lobster Rice - MAGNIFICENT!

The biggest issue for us was the ordering system. Everyone has to scan a QR code, place their own order, and enter their phone number. For a large group, this became very confusing because when the food came out, there was no clear way to tell who ordered what. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out which dishes belonged to each person. If you're coming with a big party, I definitely recommend making a list of everyone's orders ahead of time so it's easier to organize when the food arrives. The food itself was extremely spicy. Most of the BBQ items -- seafood, chicken, beef, and pork -- seemed to have the same heavy cumin and spicy seasoning, so the flavors started tasting very similar. Personally, that wasn't for us. However, the soy sauce fried rice and the cold noodles were really good and stood out the most from the meal. The service was good overall, although communication was a little difficult at times because it was hard to understand the staff's accents. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I think this place may work much better for smaller groups, but for our large party it was stressful and the food flavors were too repetitive for our taste. Unfortunately, it's probably not somewhere we would return to. Also they added 25% tip mandatory without mentioning it anywhere ; It was an experience though

A spicy chinese noodle shop that far exceeded my expectations…read more Jin was an exceptionally attentive employee who would often check up on us and top off our waters. Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.

The platter comes with a generous bowl of papaya salad dressed in a salty, tangy sauce, along with fried chicken wings, fried pork, fish cake, hard-boiled egg, Asian noodles, fried pork rinds, and raw cabbage. I enjoyed getting a taste of everything, though I do wish the cabbage had been cooked (maybe stir-fried) instead of raw. The Thai tea boba was also excellent--rich, creamy, and full of strong Thai tea flavor, with perfectly chewy boba. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

One of my favorite Thai dishes to order is khao soi if it happens to be on the menu, and I was pretty impressed when I tried it here. They keep the curry separate from everything else for takeout, and both the flavor of the curry broth along with the texture of the crispy fried noodles that go on top was very good! My fiance got their pad kee mao which he enjoyed a lot and said it had a good amount of spice. This will definitely be a go to spot for Thai food in Allen for us!
