This has been the WORST experience at a P.F Chang's I've ever had. My wife and I watched the bus boy clean the floor with the cloth then proceeded to clean and wipe the next table with the said cloth. Let's not get started on our waitress. I understand being a waiter or a waitress it's a very demanding job having to deal with some many personalities and ignorant people. BUT!!! if your table is nice to you upon introduction and maybe understand you may be tired or had a bad table or just someone has been rude. If you can't adjusted your energy or attitude then Ma'am you're in the wrong profession. I'm not one of those people who believe in the "customer is always right". July 4th, 2020 8:35 Pm our family showed up at PF Chang's to dine inside or outside whichever was the best solution for the restaurant. We spoke with the hostess and told her we had 10 in our party. We proceeded to tell her if we could not all sit at one table that is completely fine you can split us up. The hostess continued to repeatedly tell us that she could not seat us at one table and she could not accommodate us and split us up either. She stated it was a restriction from the governor of Maryland, Here is the governor of Maryland's restrictions for restaurants. Restaurants will be allowed to reopen their dining rooms at 50% capacity with tables 6 feet apart, no more than six customers at a table unless they are family, masks for customers and employees, and following sanitization guidelines. Self-serve and buffets will be prohibited. read more

I have only been here once so far, but the Beef Lo Mein and Tonkotsu Ramen were so incredible that I felt it best to share the info. I was surprised that P.F. Changs had such a good ramen meal that was really authentic, and Lo Mein was phenomenal too (particularly the seared beef). Portion size was plentiful for the cost for these dishes. This restaurant is located in the Annapolis Town Center. The town center is nice to walk around before or after dinner. Everything is lit up at night and you get to look in to all of the different shops. The restaurant has always been clean every time I visited and the service is always superb. This restaurant has a lot of food with nuts in it but they are GREAT at making sure food is not cross contaminated. They even have a separate menu that contains food with out popular allergens. If you're not familiar with the area, you'll be equally confused as I was trying to figure out how to get to this location. Google Maps led me astray and almost had me go up a one-way street. I parked in the garage across from the Target, which extends a full block. It's a short walk from there. I booked a reservation through their proprietary system on their website, and the host was able to find it and seat us quickly. There are backless upholstered benches in the foyer for you to sit and wait for your guests. The restaurant was quite packed by the time we had dinner tonight on a Friday night (6:30pm), and the service was slower than expected. I forgot the server's name, but her hair in the back was shaved in geometric shapes. She was friendly, extremely busy, and thus not super attentive. It took us a lot of confused looking around and checking that our menus were folded closed and visible to get our server to take our initial order. It took quite a while for my nonalcoholic drink (ginger beer) to arrive. However, when it did, it was really tasty and really gingery! It tasted like a Bruce Cost ginger ale, if you've ever had one, but I don't think they poured me that, which would seem gauche. We ordered the Chang's spicy chicken and the Honey chicken. They were both really good and tasted as they should. The portion sizes were sufficient--two main dishes were adequate for two adults. The Chang's spicy chicken consisted of flat, smaller pieces, whereas the honey chicken was more plump and golden. We finished it all except two bites. At the end of the meal, we were given red fortune cookies. My friend's cookie didn't have a fortune slip, alas. The overall experience was okay--I don't really come here expecting memorable service, just consistently tasting chicken. read more

Went on a date with my wife on 01/01. There were probably only 3 tables of guest there. Had to wait on getting drinks refilled, had to ask server 4 different times for items and he would forget each time. There was 8 tables sitting full of dirty dishes, glasses and plates of half eaten food that sat there the entire time of our dinner as the servers sat around doing nothing and the hostess the same. My husband and I had a great time tonight. Andre was our server and he took great care of us. He was never too far away but never intrusive. My cocktail the whiskey peach ( I think) was superb the perfect amount of peach syrup. We had bbq ribs as an appetizer and loved them. For entrees we had honey shrimp and spicy chicken that were both delicious. Our visit proved you shouldn't always just trust the stars. This Pf Changs only had 2.5 so I am glad that I was able to set the record straight. read more

We were a party of 7 celebrating a birthday and had a wonderful experience! Our server, Anthony, was a delight. Just one of those people who has a magnetic personality. He took great care of our table and was extra attentive to my mom, the birthday girl. We loved our cocktails and the food was great. The kung pao brussel sprouts appetizer was so good we're going to try to recreate it for Thanksgiving! My foodie dad said that the meal exceeded his expectations. Really disappointed in carry out service. Called ahead and was told to come in and pick up at the bar. Fine. Arrived at the time I was told it would be ready. They weren't that busy as it was around 4:30. Sat and waited by the kitchen end. The counter had not been cleaned and was covered with remnants of food, liquids, and used cutlery. Finally a bartender came out at the other end of the bar and served a couple people at the other end of the bar, and then she went away again. I went to the front hostess who saw the whole thing. She went into the kitchen and a few minutes later came out and told me they were just putting the lids on. Well that took another 5 minutes. Bartender came out and said she didn't see me and took me to a cash register where there wasn't a counter. She kept wanting to give me the bag, but I was trying to get my card out. There was no place to put the bag as I was standing behind the booths. She took my card, swiped it, and then said to sign and just leave it on the bar counter. And then walked away, so I had to hold the bag, sign the receipt on the ledge of the booth, and then walk back to the messy bar counter and leave it. Oh yeah. The food? Mediocre. Noodles were greasy and salad looked like it had been sitting out in a bowl all day. First and last time here, PF Chang. read more

My friends and I love to come into PF Changs on Sunday afternoons for "brunch." They do not have a brunch menu, but we like to drink wine and get all of the appetizers. Tyler is the best, he is very attentive and always takes good care of us! My sister hates using her phone for the menu and Tyler always offers a real menu! He is very friendly and let's us be weird. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by P.F. Chang's because I had never been there before. We got sat fairly quickly however, we never got served. As I tried to get the attention of the many servers that walked by, I was simply looked at and then ignored. I finally got the attention of a server and I asked her if she could find out who has our section and she informed me that she would find out. But she never came back. Asked another server and they told me that someone would be right by and still no one. 25 minutes passed and no one ever came to our table. We never even got water. We decided to leave. When I informed the hostess that sat us, she did not apologize nor offered to get us a server. Her response? "Oh." It's a shame. Would've wanted to try to give P.F. I love PF Changs. It is one if my favorite restaurants. That being said, Annapolis location is letting me down. This is the 2nd week in a row we been to this location and was greeted by the same young lady that I get the impression she does not like her job. The management should st least remove her from the position of greeter. She was rude last week, but I kept my positive attitude determined to enjoy the meal. This week we arrived after Mass with our family of 7 to a mostly empty restaurant at noon. There literally is 2 tables in use in the entire establishment.We was again greeted by the same young lady and as we checked in when asked the number in our party she in a disgruntled way loud enough said JESUS CHRIST! Our waitress, Mia, was awful! She disappeared for long periods of time and service took forever. We waited about 15-20 minutes for wine. She dropped the check without a word. She seemed preoccupied. My birthday was last week and our dining options were limited because my daughter, who breeds Boston Terriers has a new litter and can't leave for longer than a couple of hours. So I selected P.F. Chang's for our family gathering. On their direct website they offer excellent family meals for $78. We ordered 2, which included choice of soup; apps; 3 entrees with choice of white, brown or fried rice. We also ordered their ribs; eggplant; crab rangoon (with real crabmeat). Under the meals we ordered hot & sour soups; chicken lettuce wraps; Mongolian beef; beef and broccoli; honey chicken; sweet & sour chicken; Chang's chicken; Kung POW chicken; chicken fried rice; LoMein w/chicken; with white and brown rice. We also got the LoMein with shrimp spicy. The food was hot and delicious! The lettuce wraps and fresh and flavorful but keep in mind more on the mildly sweet side. The soups is thick and full of veggies, also not spicy. I loved the eggplant which had deep flavor in a nice sauce (not greasy), but my family didn't like the way it was cut...fine with me because I enjoyed it. The beef in both dishes was tender and cooked to perfection. The veggies in all of the dishes weren't mushy...a major plus in my opinion. Be aware that anything battered, like the honey a d sweet & sour chickens won't be crispy but the flavor was still on point. I'd never had the Chang's chicken before but everyone enjoyed it and the peppers/veggies it was mixed with. Sadly, while the Kung POW chicken was cooked nicely, it wasn't spicy. Maybe I needed to request it spicy but I assumed the POW translated into spicy! The noodles and rice dishes had plenty of meat and again was cooked to perfection, not mushy at all. Overall, I'd do this dinner all over again. My preference would be dine in but hey, when you can't, don't be afraid to order Carryout. Oh...and be on time for your order. This happened to my friend! All I wanted to do was spend a Sunday evening with Kevin and not have to cook. I was pleasantly surprised that he agreed to my first choice of P.F. Chang's. I know he is not a fan (yet) but I am working on it. Anyway, we go to the P.F. Chang's in Annapolis, MD and there is no wait! Yipee! There were several tables available but I asked for a booth to accommodate my back brace. We waited while the hostess had someone clear the table which took a few minutes. The hostess never returned to seat us. We watched in shock while a party of 2 was seated, a reservation for 10 came in with only 3 in the party present and the hostess rushed to set up their seating arrangements. We continued to wait until a third party arrived. The original hostess was not present so another lady assisted them. Fearing that she would give our booth to this group, I explained to her that we had been waiting for some time and she said that the booth must not have been cleared. She did not check, she did not clear the table. She just walked away. Finally, we were seated at the booth that I could see had been cleared for sometime. We must have been invisible because a sever never approached our table. There were two male servers in this section and I made eye contact with both. Neither approached. Finally, after watching everyone that arrived and were seated after us get service, Kevin got up to leave. We had been seated for 20 minutes. He said it was my choice so I asked to speak to the manager. I never said why I wanted the manager. Just that I wanted to speak with one. I almost fell out my seat when I realized the manager was the same person that had told me my table was still being cleaned. Her words as she approached were "no one has been over to take your order". There was no emotion just a monotone statement of fact. Her, "I'm sorry" was just as flat. She exhibited no urgency or sincerity in her comments or actions. The same attention that her staff was taking for a party of 10 should have been the same attention we received as a party of 2. We arrived first by several minutes and the larger party was seated in a totally different section. Needless to say, we left. We drove around the corner to Macaroni Grill and had a wonderful meal. It wasn't the Miso Glazed Salmon that I had wanted but Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo works as well. Thank you Macaroni Grill for restoring our evening. Two stars only because the drink was good. Do not. I repeat do not eat at this location unless you like PF Bland style. So disappointed. Ordered the usual - spring rolls and sesame chicken. Eggs rolls were good and fresh - paired well with my drink. All went down hill after that - sesame chicken barely hot and bland-bland-bland. Ugh! Sent it back and of course I am sure some teenager in back decided to microwave it and replate it. Well it came back hot of course and even drier/bland. The bartender brought me out 3 different sauces he puts on his own dish to make it taste better. Ummm...if you have to doctor up the mess then you know the chef needs to be fired. Stop making the sauce watered down to save money!!! The sauce should be savory and rich. Or, folks go to the one in Fairfax Corner is probably a safer bet. The service we received was very good. Brendon came to our table and greeted us right away, and we had drinks and an appetizer (chicken lettuce wraps) pretty quick. The food was good, not great, and pricey, but probably due to the location. The team there could do a little better cleaning but overall the environment was pleasant and the ambiance was what you would expect at a P.F. Chang's. Stopped by for lunch. Saw the bad star rating but needed my Chinese food fix and I know PFC is consistent. Menu has changed but the server got what I wanted from their old menu. Service was was great and the food up to normal standards. Overall, great experience. All the poor service reports in the other comments, here's my prediction... get used to it because there are way too many jobs in the service industry than there are people to fill them. When you now have restaurants on top of one another, this was bound to happen. Most of these restaurants are hiring anything that walks in the door and the millennials have taken it to a new level of "not caring". God bless us all, especially when going out to eat! read more

Let me start this off by saying the Asian dining experience has been taken to a whole new level with the Chang tonight. My Peking duck was simply awe-inspiring. They must hand pick those waterfowls from the pond themselves. And how was the miso salmon you ask? Unrivaled my friend. Aside from the food the service was 5 star as well. My server Dan fulfilled every expectation and more. You would have thought this guy had a PhD in hospitality management. I asked him to explain some of the appetizers to me and my nieces, and he read us the entire menu in Chinese! Dan's service was first-rate expert status. REQUEST: Please don't tag my photos as inappropriate! Why Not Five Stars? Because there are two faux terracotta Qin dynastry horses out front with hearts stuck in their butts. (Check out photo.) It's a little late now, but they need to rotate the whole restaurant 45 degrees clockwise. Why? PF Changs is a destination restaurant meaning that you come to the Annapolis Town Centre Mall to have a meal a PF Changs. and then hit some shops afterwards. You probably don't come there shopping and say, "Hey, while we're here shopping, let's eat at Changs. If you do, you're going to wait a really, really long time. So with reservations made, you park in the garage, and head toward Changs. Because of the angle, you're not going to enter the restaurant through the middle of the two faux terracotta Qin dynasty horses. Nope. You pass between the right of the horse and the building to get to the entrance, and what do you see on your left? A heart stuck in the horse's butt. If the building were rotated 45 degrees clockwise, you pass throught the middle of the horses and never notice the . . . well, you get the idea. We had asked for fellow Yelper, Miss Marie B. when we made our reservation as she had requested in her review. Her love for the restaurant shows. She has an contagious enthusiam and a great smile. We started with the lettuce wraps and Peking dumplings for appetizers. Both are highly recommended. We had a large group with a variety of entrees, all came fresh from the kitchen and were great. My entree was the beef and broccoli which I've ordered before and has the most flavorful sauce. I also had the small hot sake which was super good on a cold afternoon. The only negative note was that one person in our party commented that the Buddha's delight was a little bland. A nice option are the lunch bowls, with slightly smaller portions, in the $7-9 range. For dessert we ordered and shared the 6-layer chocolate-raspberry cake which was attacked voraciously by people who might not normally eat dessert. We had come for lunch at 12:00, and by the time we left at 1:15, the place was full and there was a wait to be seated. Miss Marie B. made it fun, was patient , and we'd ask for her again. Ughh. $16 for this???? Like I said in my other review as this is an update. Nothing but below average food. Expensive buffet food. But buffet food probably has the edge. Smh. Terrible. A smidge surprised this location had terrible ratings. We went on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my birthday. I had lettuce wraps on my brain. lOl. We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly and attentive. He kept our drinks filled and our table cleared. We ordered the lettuce wraps and green beans appetizers. Both were absolutely delicious. Our son had the California roll (sushi) which he gobbled up. It did come well before my husband and I's meals, but no biggie. Hubby had the kung pao chicken with fried rice which he said was very good. I ordered the black pepper steak, which was nearly inedible. The black pepper sauce was so overpowering, it was like I had dumped the entire bottle of pepper in my mouth. Son and I shared the lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream and it was to die for. PF Changs is always a hit with our family. Love the chicken lettuce wraps and the vegetable spring rolls. The eggplant is tasty. They change up their menu periodically for whatever reason and we miss some of our past favorites like hot and sour soup and orange/general's chicken but what they do offer is flavorful and good. Miso salmon and salad is another favorite. There is a very decadent chocolate cake-great wall of chocolate?-that is a yummy way to finish off a meal. read more

The pomegranate lemonade without alcohol the crunchy Schezwan salad and Buddhist Delight an amazing lunch but remember bring a friend share the food because there is so much it'll weigh you down just carrying your leftovers home. Although it's 24 miles away from me it is quicker for me to drive there than to drive the 10 Mi to the PF Chang's in Chevy Chase.
