Not a fan. First off the menu prices are way too high. It should be $$$ not two. Last time I went I was glad I had a gift card from a friend, because we waited over 20 minutes just to put in our orders. That wouldn't be bad if they were busy, but the place wasn't and others being seated after us got their orders in quicker. Maybe it was an off night for the waitress. We went here for a family dinner in November and had one miserable visit. The food was sub-par and the service was some of the worst I have experienced. We have two kids, so dinner out can be hectic, and we know that we can be a pain to serve, but the rude service that we received was inexcusable. That alone was enough to ruin the evening, but as it progressed we were served food that was cold and prepared incorrectly. I have tried to resolve this with the complaint department and after a lengthy exchange they manage to send us a "gift card" for $25. Thanks but no thanks, our entire evening was ruined and we spent upwards of $70, so your "gift" is kind of a slap in the face. Some of you may be asking why is this guy back to rant after this long? Well, I have been going to this location for a long time and to have it ruined by a prolonged customer service failure has left me severely annoyed. I've eaten at this P.F. Changs 4 times in the last month. I've found a couple dishes that I absolutely love and will come back for. When I've called to reserve, I feel like while the people answering the phone will take my request, they are clear there are no guarantees and they seemed a bit put out by the request. The shining star for me here is Lexi V. She is the sweetest, kindest, most efficient and energetic server ever! She is everything I hope for in a server. I've eaten here twice now and the food was great both times. This second time I ordered online and it made it very easy and convenient. Although this outdoor mall doesn't have PF Changs pick-up parking, there are two 20 minute parking spots pretty close to the front. The wait staff is just OK. Not very attentive or helpful. But I love PF Changs food so I keep coming back to many of their locations. Last Wednesday I had the Shrimp Fried Rice (minus bean sprouts) and the Kung Pao Scallops. Both were excellent. I'll be visiting Denver again in December so I may stop by for another PF Changs fix ;) read more

Sitting there with friends, casually eating your meal because it's so sensational that you want to remember every bite. Uhm... No. Lots of salt and sugar; everything is swimming in some sort of broth or sauce. Service takes forever. Count 45 minutes for our order to come. Tables that were seated after us were nibbling on chewy chicken before I. Voiced my opinion to the waiter, and no manager. Spoke with the hostess and asked for the manager, "She's unavailable." The best thing about this place is that one of the horse statues that flank the entrance has a heart-shaped anus. Just imagine how much farther you'd be in life today with a heart-shaped anus: kids would line up around the block to check out your dumps; if a girl broke up with you, you could leave the most poignant expression of anguish imaginable on her doorstep; they'd dedicate ziggurats to you in the Castro. I've never been a fan of the food here, but this three-star nod is for bartender Cody, who delivered a quick flight of chilled sake at a reasonable price and with professional flair. My absolute favorite oriental food place on the planet. I love going in here, I love the atmosphere, I love the ambience and the music. Everything I've had on the menu is awesome. They have great drinks. It's where I go for my birthday every year. The Mongolian beef is absolutely off the hook. So good. The kung pao Brussels sprouts are also amazing. I ordered take out from P.F. Changs. Have ordered before and the food was fine. This time, however, the MoPu Tofu was awful. So I called and was passed to the manager who gave me the option of having another order delivered in an hour or so or getting money back on that item. I opted for the money back. However, it did not show up on my credit card for several days so I called again and they said it takes time. Over a week later it still had not shown up so had the charge disputed by my credit card company. I think the manger is a fast talker but doesn't realize he is damaging his own company by not being truthful. This place has changed a lot since their "remodel." New manager, I guess. read more

I really enjoy PF Chang's. Been eating at the restaurant in south Denver long before they were popular. I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could. Once again, unlike many others, I'm completely ok with chains and non-authentic food. As a Chinese-American, I do like traditional food but also don't mind "Americanized version" either. To me, that's the funniest thing when I read as one of the primary gripes of many people, particularly chains about how "Americanized" it is. When in fact, we live in America and I feel they modernized the food to fit the tasted bud of the people. Nothing wrong with that. Shoot, my kids favorite Chinese dish is sesame chicken or General Tso's chicken, doesn't get any more Americanized than that. I digress, I do enjoy the food here such as the Mongolian Beef, Oolong Seabass along with some others. It's definitely a different experience and taste than your typical local Chinese restaurant, but then again, they're generally not authentic either. You'll know right away by the patrons sitting in there. You will know or can always judge authentic by the amount of "ethnic" people representing the restaurant. There are a few of them around Denver, but this ain't CA or NY. Be proud of the lettuce wrap and continue to do what you do! read more

Sodium overload!! Gah. I've tried many dishes here over the years, and I'm sure there are some delicious flavors under all that salt. I just tried their new mandarin crunch salad and even it was a salt bomb. Salty salad? Not refreshing! We also got their new wok Brussels sprouts and could not choke them down. Soggy, overcooked little tidbits drowning in salt sauce and oil. It's hard to imagine these used to be vegetables. Really disgusting. We eat out a lot and often find restaurant food to be over-salted, but P.F. Chang's is the worst. I'm sure it's a chain-wide problem, though this is our go-to location. One thing I've gotten that wasn't too bad was the sesame chicken. At least the steamed broccoli served with that is not drowning in salty oil. read more

I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering tonight. We have been in a hotel for 6 days due to the Superior fire. After cleaning all day and only had an apple to eat, I thought we would order a hot meal. I placed the order online and my husband went to pick up at the designated time. When he arrived they said "Oh, sorry we didn't see it". He had to wait while they made our meals and they threw in a free desert. I had ordered a salad with salmon and dressing on the side. Most places will package the takeout salmon in a separate container. They threw it on the salad so it was ice cold when he returned from across the street. They did not include any salad dressing. Cold fish gags me so I gave it to my cats who have had to endure a lot the past several days. (My cats thank you, PF Chang) They did not give my husband a receipt which we need for insurance purposes so I called and explained the whole story. The woman put me on hold and never got back to me. When one or more of your family is gluten free, most Asian restaurants are off limits. Not only do they not have a GF menu they don't have any GF soy sauce - and ther eis soy sauce in everything. PF Chang's on the other hand solves this problem by having a full GF menu. This location in particular, I think is very good. Yes, it is more expensive than your standard Chinese restaurant but I have found the food to be better prepared and higher quality than most low rent asian joints. I also have had nothing but very good service at this location. So while I try not to be a big chain supporter this PF Chang's is consistently good and the GF options solves so many other problems, it get my vote. read more

Super disappointed!!! Was excited to eat here after years of not. Long waits, overpriced subpar food and they charge extra for every little thing!!!! We had to pay extra to add in red bell peppers, there were only four pieces and they charged us for the full price Tiny side of fried rice when we just wanted to pay to substitute for the steamed. What has happened to PF Chang's? I was there last night for dinner and drinks and was not happy with the inattentive service, the mediocre food and expensive drinks. A Mai Tai was $11.00? A Margarita was $11.00? This is not a fancy bar with unique drinks and high-end ingredients so why the high prices? We had white rice because they were out of brown rice. At 6:30 pm on a Friday night.The asparagus side dish was pathetic- overcooked, limp and skimpy. I should have taken a picture. The brussel sprouts side dish had an unbelievably bitter taste of too much lemon- like it had been cooked with lemon rind or something. Inedible. The kung pao chicken dish was skimpy. The orange peel shrimp was flavored with mandarin oranges. Are you kidding me. The bartenders were not at all friendly and we had to work to get their attention. Yep, even sitting at the bar had to wave them down to order a drink and to clear our dirty plates. Not sure I saw any of them smile or look like they were happy to be there. The bill was over $100 for two people. Please get your act together, guys. read more

We had gift cards we wanted to use so decided to stop in for date night- I got a California roll, we had potstickers for an appetizer and he had the honey garlic shrimp and we were sick for days after eating here. Pretty decent for lunch, their Pre fixe menu for two people has a great selection and definitely something we'd get again. There was actually enough for four people to share. It's $39.99 for two people and includes: Hot sour or egg drop soup Appetizer Two entrees Hot tea Mini desserts. Usually, when places have a lunch special like this, they make a special lunch portion, etc. But we were served two full sized entrees. It was way more than the two of us could have finished by ourselves. Here's what we chose: Hot sour soup (a little too salty for my taste, but chock full of mushrooms, tofu, egg, black fungus, chicken - the bf commented on how tiny the tofu pieces were, but also that there was a lot in the soup) Crispy honey shrimp (yummy, crispy, and not oily) Sesame chicken (nice pieces of chicken breast, fresh veggies, light sauce, very good and not oily like take out Chinese food) Hot tea Mini desserts - red velvet and strawberry cheesecake (these were cute, but a little too sweet - too much frosting goop in the little shot glasses, very similar to the ones at Chili's) Overall we're definitely going to come here for lunch again and try a different combination of items. read more

Terrible wine service. The first two bottles of wine I requested we resold out, I then asked the server to come back with a list that is accurate. She returned 10 minutes later (30 minutes after my first request), and said there were two others on the list that they were out of. Really? On a major holiday weekend? How hard is it to print out an accurate wine list? That put a damper on the entire night for me. The food was typical PFs, over priced for what you get, and they charged me full price for the wine that I finally ended up with. Don't waste your money here. Just had takeout and I paid a lot more money for a lot less food that did NOT taste as good as I remember. They even skimped on the rice! For two entrees I got a half a carton of rice. I believe they must have given us lunch bowls instead of the main entrees that I ordered and paid a premium price for tonight. I get that restaurants lost money and are short on help but don't cheat me to make back some money because now I will never eat there again. I am learning which restaurants I can trust. This place has really gone downhill in this last year. I usually love PF Changs. But the past few times have been very disappointing. We went last week. I called to make a reservation and we were told we would be seated right away. We ended up waiting half an hour to be seated right by the door where it was freezing cold. After 10 minutes of being upset we were moved across the restaurant to another cold table by the window. Our server took awhile to greet us and then gave us attitude when we asked basic questions about the menu. We ordered the crispy green beans and dynamite shrimp (both appetizers) which took an hour to get brought to our table. The green beans were stringy and burned. Very disappointing. While freezing at our cold table, the manger came by and asked us if we could get up for a second so she could move another table next to us. We then complained about the service and all she did was make us move somewhere else. So with a 30 min wait with a reservation, 3 tables later, rude waiter, and disappointing appetizers we will not be going back there again. read more

I have never had a bad experience at this PF Changs. Whenever we go we always ask for a booth and they always give us one. We have never had a bad server and they are always understanding of our pickiness! We like to get the chicken fried rice, Dan Dan noodles, orange peel beef, or sesame chicken. We have never had a problem! One thing I'd love to ad though is one of the bartenders! I wish I knew her name but she is soooo nice! We do take out a lot so I usually get my food from her. She remembered me last time I came in and it was so nice! My boyfriend and I love going when we get the chance :) Instead of giving them 5 stars, I am only going to give them four because some servers aren't always the most attentive but I've had far worse! read more

By now everyone should know I choose Yurihana instinctively when I feel the need for Chinese/Japanese cuisine. But I had a gift certificate for Chang's and I hate wasting perfectly only-good-in-one-place money, and I was too exhausted from our Saturday morning martial art training session to cook, and so my boyfriend and I popped in for lunch. I did like the décor ~ the huge hand-painted mural, terra cotta warriors and ample natural light had me briefly buying the 'casual outdoor pavilion' dining vibe. Seating was immediate and I was surprised at the lack of volume in the area. Usually large singular restaurant dining rooms give me horrible flashbacks of middle-school cafeteria days. Our server was very pleasant and non-judgmental (I say because we were drinking sake at noon, but hey, the world was ending!! My boyfriend explains our alcoholism by saying sake is very relaxing, detoxifying and appropriate after an intense workout, and I choose to believe this because sake is tasty). The service was prompt (enough) the food was good (enough) and when my boyfriend complained that his dish was too salty, they replaced it and didn't charge for either. So overall a fine experience, but it only slightly outperforms a Panda Express if I want to pay for 'white-people Chinese' food. Yurihana, it was only a fling! She meant nothing to me! read more

PF Chang's takes Americanized Chinese food to a gourmet taste. All of the dishes seem roughly the same as what you'd find at a local "pay by the scoop" Chinese restaurant, but with freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients and interesting twists. I enjoyed the lettuce wraps and some double pan fried noodles. The lettuce wraps were good without being remarkable but my pan-fried noodle dish with tofu and vegetables was fan-freaking-tastic. Crunchy noodles were pan fried with a soy-heavy sauce to form a thick, robust, and chewy noodle I'd never had before, topped sky high with fresh veggies and the best firm tofu I've had. I'm not going to pretend that PF Chang's is anything other than a chain restaurant with focus-grouped menu full of (probably overpriced) American bastardizations. Ok, when P.F. Chang's first opened and I would frequent the one in LoDo it was like fine dining Chinese right? Yeah not anymore. I knew right away and should have trusted my intuition. Sunday the 9th of February. 2 pm. Freezing restaurant. Dirty condiments. Dried on dripping soy on the soy sauce. Dirty table in front of us that NEVER got cleaned the entire time we dined. Nice waiter but wearing a filthy apron and seemed really lazy. We ordered a beer when the food came. It arrived when we were done! He brought the "special sauces" after our food arrived and in plastic little to go containers?!? Agave margarita sickly sweet. New dynamite lettuce wraps. Awful! Huge pieces of fried shrimp. How can that go into lettuce? Sent it back. They raced about the HOIKEN noodles why?! They were "eh". Here's the worst past. The floorboards and under chairs filthy. The waiters disheveled and dirty. Gross tennis shoes dirty jeans. Messy hair. There were zero bus people. After paying we still had dirty dishes. Waiters carrying dirty cups with their fingers in the used glasses! Giving 2 stars is generous. I have been to pf Chang several times and it's never been this bad. I started with Calamari as a appetizer. The calamari was bland and wasn't seasoned much. The saving grace was the sauce it came with, which wasn't bad. My entree was the chicken fried rice and you would think that they ran out of ANY seasoning in the kitchen. The chicken in the fried rice wasn't seasoned at all that I couldn't eat it and sent it back. But before I sent it back I wanted to make sure it wasn't me I had my wife taste it and she agreed it wasn't good also. Also she had Edamame and had that sent back because it was bland. Before you think that this is all I do is complain about restaurants, I don't whatsoever. You can read my other reviews on restaurants that make an effort to prepare food the right way and with flavor. With so many restaurants closing down you would think that franchise restaurants like PF Chang would step it up to make sure they keep there customers, but I cannot recommend PF Chang (at least this location) to anyone. read more

As my hectic day was coming to a close I was getting hangry when I looked online to make my order and it let me down personally saying "we cannot take online orders right now" so we proceeded to call. Did they answer? NO. we waited and waited and waited on hold until I realized no one was going to pick up. I can't believe they didn't care about my business or my hunger. I WILL think TWICE about ordering from P.F. Changs (aka a disappointment) ever AGAIN. I'm forever saddened by this unfortunate and disheartening event that has honestly rocked my world. Go with a group so you don't notice how long it takes to get your food. Had lunch here and there were hardly any guests. Music was loud but they toned it down a bit after we asked. Ordered the chilean sea bass and the shrimp in lobster sauce. Both were decent for a chain restaurant. The shrimp dish is on the lunch menu and is supposed to come with soup. We had to ask for it. But when the bill came they charged us full price for both dishes plus for the soup because the "sea bass wasn't on the lunch menu and you were sharing." Uhh, no we weren't. We had two dishes, got here at 3 and you serve lunch until 4. Cheap tricks to get more money from customers don't go over too well for return visits. read more

after a long wait for the waitress on what was a mild mid afternoon day, I ordered the sweet and sour pork, and after also waiting a long time for my food, it was cold and hard and the glaze tasted like window cleaner. For an "upscale" restaurant I would have expected better, but was sorely disappointed. I'm very surprised how downhill P.F. Chang's is going for me. Remember in 2010 when this was the place to go and feel special?? Well, I still think it is, but the servers don't. They think so otherwise. The place is overly packed, so there is a wait. Fine. But some of the ladies in the front are frankly rude, very tired, so that plays a role in it I guess. The service is frankly slow. The food is the same as going to a $1 scoop place, and that hurts me to say so. Because P.F. Chang's gives me the memory of me going and on a wonderful date. Now, I dread it. I still love to come here because I have these high hopes for P.F. Chang's. I hope you can read my review, corporate. Please, get your Chang's straight and get your act together!
