This review is regarding the manager Kianna and her awful handling of a simple situation. My family was celebrating a birthday, party of 16. I ordered a bowl of soup. Needed 2 clean cups to serve and share soup. There was a misunderstanding with our waiter who thought we ordered two more soups. Another waiter brought them to our table and we rejected the soups and clarify the mistake or confusion. Someone said they leave them free of charge. We didn't need the extra food at all, but it was appreciated. When we asked for the check. The so called Manager Kianna approached our table and apologized for the mistake regarding the soups. And said she reprimanded the waiter, but we had two options. We either return the soups in order for not being charged for them. Or, we can keep them and she will have to charge us for the soups. The soups were already in take home containers with some other left overs since we were ready to pay and leave. I told her that they should've said that immediately after bringing the soups to our table or just not leaving them in the first place. So she went ahead and took two plastic containers of soup from our left over food.... Hahahaha INCREDIBLE. She rather took away the soups to throw them to the trash and leave us a bad taste for visiting PF Changs. Never coming back as long as she's there. read more

First off I just want to thank P.F. Changs and my server Rene for an incredible experience. This has by far been the best service I've ever received at any restaurant. I brought my family here to celebrate my mother's birthday. This had always been one my mother's favorite restaurants and we haven't had a chance to come in a while. Today was that day and hands down an incredible decision to celebrate here. Upon arriving the atmosphere was very welcoming and it's been so long that the place looked pretty different but we loved it. I decided to order a draft beer, my mother a hot tea, and my brother had some Sake. Based on our servers recommendations I ordered the Samuel Adam's Winter Lager, my brother the Gekkeikan Jar of Sake, and my mother had the Sweet Ginger Peach Decaf Tea. Now let me just say Rene knows his stuff. He made hands down a perfect recommendation for our drinks. For dinner my mother and I ordered the Changs for Two deal. With it we had Two Egg Drops soups, an order of Dynamite Shrimp and an entree of Kung Pao Shrimp and Pepper Steak with white rice. My brother ordered the Lo Mein noodles. Everything was perfect and incredibly delicious. Each meal hit the spot perfectly. Not only were the meals incredible I feel as if they came out pretty quick and our server constantly checked up on is to ensure our experience was perfect. For dessert my brother had the Banana Spring Roll that came with our Changs for Two, and for my mother's birthday we ordered her The Great Wall of Chocolate. Service is great. Our waiter was Tom. Second time he's waited on us and I can say that Tom is a pro. Food comes out fast and hot. So if you want to visit with family and friends give yourself time before you order. We had the Long noodles with prawns. My wife and I haven't been here in a few years, mostly because we thought menu was a little tired and last time we ate here the whole experience wasn't great. We decided that today we would give it another try. Here is what we experienced: Service was acceptable not fantastic, but fair. Food meh overall. We ordered the following items: Shrimp dumplings, chicken lettuce wraps, Kung Pao chicken and the Street Noodles. The Dumplings were actually the only good tasting item we ordered. The lettuce wraps were very greasy and waiter did not bring the mustard or chili oil with the sauce. We had to wait while the dish got cold. Chicken was so greasy it was just oozing. We could not eat it. The Kung Pao chicken also served very greasy and very little sauce accompanied it. We also thought it was on the salty side. We ate it cause we were hungry. Not bad enough to send back but not good enough to ever reorder again. The street noodles did have decent flavor but we sent it back because it was so over salted. We were really taken aback at how many people were eating this slop at this restaurant. Which goes to show you that most people don't really know the difference between good and bad food. The managers and cooks at this restaurant should be ashamed for serving this swill.m, obviously no care or skill went into the products they were putting out of that kitchen. This location (Sunland Park, El Paso) has really gone downhill, it seems... pre-COVID lockdowns & such, I used to go here a lot - sometimes for lunch with friends & co-workers, sometimes for dinner. Probably 1-2 times a month, I'd guess on average. Everything was ALWAYS good quality, very tasty, service times were reasonable, depending on how busy they were, people were always pleasant - the whole nine yards. Hence, all the usual reasons for going back to a restaurant often! Anyway, I've ordered for delivery a few times since, and each time, it seems to have gotten a little worse. The last time was a couple days ago, and I ordered the regular fried rice (Through UberEats, if anyone cares to know which service I used), and what was apparent this time, was a complete lack of attention to detail for EVERYTHING. No packets of soy sauce (Who T.F. on any planet sends out an order of Chinese food with no soy sauce???), two spoons, but no forks - that's not a big deal, just simply stupid. lol. No napkins. The worst part was the food itself... portion size was decent, but it tasted like - I dunno, like "nothing", I guess. It had almost zero flavor (gee - maybe some fricken' SOY SAUCE would've helped!!! ;) ). Finally - it was pretty cold... just barely above room temp. And that couldn't have been the delivery person's fault, either, as they got here fairly quick - a bit faster than the estimated time that the UberEats app showed, in fact - so I can only assume it was cooked in a hurry & not to normal or proper temps in the first place. I don't know if this place has different management now vs. before, or if it's maybe a different franchise owner if it's a franchise, but I would suggest a major re-boot based on my most recent past couple of experiences. From time to time in life something no matter how big, or small had the ability to bring you back to your past. A happy memory you endured. P.F. Chang's did that my first visit when I ordered their Korean BBQ. Never having been here, initially I was hesitant on what to get, considering their menu is painfully large. In most cases a large menu, is a compromise for poor quality. Which thankfully was not the case. I ended up ordering the Korean BBQ with low expectations considering I once had lived abroad for two years in that country. Surprisingly their dish brought a smile to me. Spicy BBQ sauce is what coated the chicken. Also sharing the dish were green beans and carrots, maybe another veggie but overall topped with a pickled Kimchi which hit the spot. You get the spice from the chicken and sauce, a crunch from the veggies and and the bitterness to even out the spice from the pickled kimchi. Customer service was outstanding, my waiter once I ordered my beer asked if I had ever tried this kind before. Which I had not, he gave me a quick origin on it and told me I would not be displeased. Which he was correct. Took the time to make sure it was the right choice for me, took interest in his customer which made the experience better than i would have imagined. I think its safe to say that PF Changs is not authentic nor the best chinese food ever, and quite frankly its on the expensive side. But, what i do love is the ambiance of the place and how one can truly benefit from their Rewards program occassionally. Their customer service is equivalent to high quality restaurants like Cheesecake Factory. Its basically Chinese Factory lol. I think you can benefit the most from their lunch specials on the weekdays. They have a much cheaper price for still a good amount of food. Their regular options are definitely more steep. If you can also catch their happy hour, definitely try for that. I also dont suggest to order their sushi since they are definitely overpriced for so so quality. I wish their dim sum wasnt so expensive neither but those are at least super delicious, both pork and shrimp. So far, with a simple signing up for Rewards membership for free, i got free 10$ chocolate cakes as my birthday reward for the last 2 years since signing up and i barely even eat there that often within the year. Just these last couple of days, they had a special promotion of 25 cent Lettuc wraps! With a purchase of an entre of course but still a fabulous deal! 12$ total bill for 2 entres basically. Could this really be THE only PF Changs in El Paso?!? I guess I am a spoiled SoCal girl when it comes to my pick of restaurants. Me and the bf decided to head over to this locale on a Friday night after a movie. We got there at about 9:45pm and I was actually surprised that there was still a 25-minute wait at that time. I soon learned that this was the only PFC in EP so it made more sense. We decided to skip the waiting and went over to the bar area for the one table available. PFC is a chain and is usually pretty consistent. They get the extra star here because of the service we received that night. Vanessa helped us and she was FABulous! Great personality, quick, attentive and she made sure that the kitchen kept things moving. We had: -Lemon drop martini (not too sweet but had a nice kick) -Changs Spare Ribs (DE-LISH!! I could skip the side slaw though) -Seared Ahi Tuna (the salad and drizzled sauce are always yum) -Mongolian Beef (consistently tasty) -Oolong Marinated Sea Bass (fish was perfect but my spinach was a little deprived. I had to ask for extra sauce as it looked a little dry) The bass and beef are my absolute go-to items when I dine there. We get the duck and crab wontons as well normally, but post-movie, we weren't as hungry. I will definitely bookmark this place since they are the only location in the city. We love PF Chang's but this time not so much. The hostess was rude and when we were seated, the booth seat was smeared with wet food. We called over a bus boy wiped it and said nothing even we we thanked him. When my husband slid over in the booth there was a dirty napkin on the seat. When we complained to the waiter, after he asked us how we were doing, we told him. He said they were having trouble with the credit card machine which made everyone grumpy --- uh, okay? Our food cold and greasy (must've been the credit card machine's fault too?) i told the waiter but he only said "that's too bad." Offered no comps or reduction in the bill. when We left I dropped my napkin and when I picked it up, the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. OK, glorified pei wei,I see what you did here. Put some cozy boots with upholstery, military beacon style ceiling and Jack up the prices 50% from pei wei. Other than that, no big difference from your sister company in food taste. Nevertheless , the shrimp with lobster sauce was very good and strongly recommended. The sauce is light and not heavy as traditional Asian sauce. The shrimp count in the dish is generous. Overall, well balanced dish. Service is a top notch with servers imitating Cristiano Ronaldo style...after all this is El Paso, TX. Perfect time to come after the lunch crowd. Very quiet and excellent service! We decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year by coming here - most authentic in El Paso, right? ;) We started with the edamame small plate and the new Monkey Mules. For the main courses, we had the combo fried rice, lemongrass chicken, and the new butternut squash dumplings. Best thing: Lemongrass Chicken. Probably the best salad you can have in the city. Super fresh, looked amazing, a ton of food and she gives it 5 stars. Close second: the Monkey Mules. A really well done drink with super fresh ginger beer. We both rate this high - she says 5, I say 4+. The worse thing: Butter Nut Squash Dumplings. First off know this is a small plate, perfect for us but it isn't noted on the menu. Most places are super busy for lunch not the case with PF Chang. So for lunch: one can definitely get in and out PF Chang has done some new menu options which are good along with some of the old favorites. Lunch menu is a lot more reasonable than their dinner menu so you can try a lot of fancier options at a lower price. The restaurant is beautifully done but it is too dark if you want to have any kind of lunch business meeting. My favorite are the crab wontons. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because I missed the PF Changs of 5 years ago. The portions were ample enough to share. And they seemed to taste a little better maybe they were fresher. read more

Its really sad when a hostess can keep you from eating. When you ask to sit in one of the 8 empty booths and says sorry but the only place you is in the middle of 4 other tables. ( two huge tops) Claims it's seat by server. Seems like the extra 4 that server has to travel wouldn't be such a burden. Sounds to me just be a poorly and rude hostess. What a shame- great food. We went there to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation. Without request, the establishment put us in a private area that was behind a glass wall with our own personal waiter. It was cool, and appreciated. It allowed for much conversation, joke telling and laughter. That aside the food was good; above average. We all ordered separate plates and then shared the food family-style. The portions were average and the cost slightly high; but worth it because of the ambience.
