We ended up ordering a half order of the lettuce wraps and half order crab wontons to start. They came out quickly. Shortly after our entrees, of orange chicken and sesame beef came out as well. We lucked out on picking our night out-they happened to be having a Heroes deal that covered buy 1, get 1 entree for service industry workers. It was a nice surprise, but it did not seem well advertised. A waitress leaving happened to mention it, but there was no mention inside or signage that showed it. Tried P.F. Chang's for the first time in my life, and honestly was not impressed. Prices? High. Food? Mediocre; bland. Portions? Small. At $60 for 2 people, while already making cuts such as ordering off the dinner specials menu, drinking water, and getting the 1/2 sized app instead of full, I expect the food to at least taste phenomenal. It, however, tasted like almost nothing at all. My Mongolian beef was extremely bland, even once I added chili oil (which, for the record, was also not spicy at all, except maybe for someone under 5 years old.). The lo mein with it also tasted like almost nothing, and was a denser, chewier noodle than I've had as "lo mein" before. Very reminiscent of an al dente spaghetti tossed *lightly* in soy sauce, yet undersalted. I deeply regretted upcharging to get each of these items. Lettuce wraps were delicious, and if I came back, I'd get these as my meal. However, they are extremely expensive to just be chicken and lettuce. Our server was great, no complaints there. Restaurant was also clean and nicely decorated. But none of that means anything when the food is bad. First time going to this restaurant and the atmosphere was nice. Was seated right away as it was slow. The server was awesome, he told us about the drinks and what were refilled and not. I was excited about the food but when it came out I was a little disappointed. The Mongolian beef had more green onions than protein and the brown rice was extremely crunchy. Rule of thumb...soak the brown rice for 30 mins before cooking. We called our server over and surprisingly he already knew what was wrong before we told him and many customers have complain and nothing has been adjusted. For the high price customers suggestions should be heard and adjustments made. If it wasn't for the server this place would definitely get 2 stars. read more

I was craving lo mein and sesame chicken while in the area and wanted a sit-down spot so I stopped in. I ordered the dinner special with sesame chicken, lo mein, and an egg roll. I also added a half order of the lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were to die for. Absolutely delicious! The pork roll was cooked well, crispy on the outside and filled nicely on the inside. The sesame chicken and lo mein were severely under seasoned, which wasn't what I was prepared for. I wish I had gone for take-out instead. P. F. Chang's is a solid restaurant that my kid refers to as the "golden horse place". We don't come here often, due to distance, but we do love the food. We came for the chicken lettuce wraps. Simple as that. Yes, we ate more than just lettuce wraps, but that is the main reason why we came. Everyone at our table enjoys them, even both littles. We ordered a full order of lettuce wraps, which allowed everyone to have at least two. We also ordered the Mongolian beef, white rice, and lo mein noodles. It was very tasty and was enough for our family of four. Our server was very attentive, and kept our glasses filled. We arrived for an early dinner, and close to the end of our meal it began to rain so hard it was raining sideways. Our server didn't try to rush us out, and even continued to check on us as we remained at the table after we'd paid. There wasn't a crowd of people waiting, so it was nice to not feel rushed to leave into the monsoon outside. I highly do not recommend this place. Just start off we sat down. I watched our server go to the tables around us never touched our table. Never even greeted us after 15 minutes of sitting at the table. I finally went to the front. Advised them of the server has not touched our table and has walked past us multiple times this service started out much better once they moved us. This used to be my go-to dish until they added the Chang's Spicy Chicken to the menu, but decided to order it for old times sake and yum perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Mother's Day at P.F. Chang's was a disaster. We had a 4:00 PM reservation and still had no food by 5:00 PM. The restaurant was clearly overbooked and completely unprepared for the crowd. They even ran out of drinking glasses and started serving drinks in paper cups. What made it worse was the response from staff, basically saying the situation was "out of their control." Reservations are supposed to mean something. If you can't handle the volume, stop booking tables. Definitely not the experience you expect on Mother's Day. read more

It's puzzling how P.F. manages to charge steakhouse prices for what is essentially mid-tier Chinese-American fare. If not for the large portions and the lettuce wraps, I would probably give them two stars instead of three. I'm afraid I won't be coming back. I thought it was going to be exquisite chinese food, but it just seemed like something I could get at a chinese restaurant that's normally beside a Food Lion. Anyway, I always seem to be more than satisfied when eating at Changs and maybe I remembered to review this time because I received outstanding service from Devyn. She was super polite and professional. I actually felt special while having my meal. Even if the meal was average (which it wasn't..it was great). I would have throughly enjoyed my lunch. Since it was Valentine's Day, my wife and I received 2 coupons for future appetizers and we receive a free appetizer with our meal. I used my Change rewards points and I left a great meal paying fast food prices. Changs is always crowded for the right reasons but the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. Love the new weekday lunch menu! Smaller portions at smaller prices, with sides ranging from soup or salad to Lo mein or fried rice. We tried sesame chicken, orange chicken, orange shrimp (sub shrimp for chicken) and teriyaki chicken. All of them were very satisfying! The broccoli in two dishes was large stalks barely cooked. I prefer mine a little more cooked and would make that request moving forward. Hot and sour soup is one option and it's SO good. Lo mein is a $2 upcharge and is plain noodles, not the dish described on the main menu with mushrooms and Asian vegetables. This was not made clear on the menu and I think it should be. So a few concerns kept it from being five stars, but I love the new menu and we will be going back frequently. read more

Mmmm... sounds like a great idea for a small lunch. I sat at the bar since I'm eating alone today for a quick lunch. I decided I would get aside and soup, since I'm having a large dinner early tonight. I asked the bartender about the new item on the menu. He showed me the menu where there is Korean fried chicken bone-in and boneless. The three-piece bone in is $21.29 while the boneless for one person is $19.29. I said not having that! That price is ridiculous for 3 pieces of chicken!!!! To double down on the disappointment, they have also discontinued their spring rolls! They changed the sauce that used to come with them AND...this breaks my heart.... The crispy noodles are no longer fresh, they taste like they came from a bag I am trying the egg rolls with my hot and sour soup. And that is going to be my lunch today. We have been to 4 or 5 Chang's in 3 different states now, and this one ranks 4 or 5 in comparison. The place was clean, lively and had a fun atmosphere overall. Service was also on par, attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are where it all fell apart unfortunately. From an Americanized Chinese food place with upscale hints, you typically know what to expect, and those expectations have been met in the past, albeit pricy. At this location those expectations weren't even close. The Japanese Old Fashioned could have been so great. The whisky itself seemed good, luxardo cherry is always a plus, but the abundance of bitters overpowered everything. Instead of a dash of bitters to go along with the whisky, it seemed like a dash of whisky to accompany the bitters. The food, where to begin. Calamari was significantly overcooked. It was as if you were chewing a stiff rubber band. Their signature lettuce wrap appetizer didn't have enough chicken in it. Still tasty, but not what we're used to at other locations. BBQ pork spare ribs were also overcooked and a bit tough. What really gets you is the expectation that this would be "smoked tableside" as described on the menu (see pic). Nope, that didn't happen. When spending over $80 for a few appetizers, a soda and one cocktail, you definitely expect more. If you want to go to a restaurant to hang out with friends or family but not order any food or drink, this is your place! Otherwise save a trip and your money, you won't miss this one. read more

We had a reservation for a party of 13 and when we got there they said they did not have our reservation and asked if we called and we did many days prior. They worked it out somehow I was not the person working it out with the staff but they did. I got the chefs feast special. It is advertised as $20 for parties of two or more since there were 13 of us I thought that meant a party of two or more, but it meant if you were on the same bill with two people it would be $20. So it ended up being about $30. My salad was good and the sesame chicken was as well but the spring rolls had a very odd taste to them. The service was good. Haven't eaten at PF Changs in a couple of years, so I decided to give it a try again. Surprisingly, it was very good. I took a chance with their mixed vegetables in a white sauce minus the tofu. Wow! The vegetables were cooked to perfection with a nice crispness. It was a great mix of broccoli, carrots, onions, green beans, and a sprinkle of corn. I am so glad I asked for extra sauce as it was lacking a little bit. That combined with the brown rice really made a great and filling meal. One meal really is three, so be prepared to share or have leftovers. The only thing that was missing was some shrimp or scallops! It would've made the meal pop even more. This was, without question, the worst-run PF Chang's I've ever visited--and that's saying something for a place that's supposed to have consistent standards. I've been warned about this location, but decided to give it a shot. The restaurant was filthy. Floors were dirty and tables weren't being bussed. It immediately set the tone for the experience. Service was nearly nonexistent. Our server was largely absent. We mainly went for the lettuce wraps. However, our main arrived before the wraps. We told the runner that we had also ordered wraps, but she didn't seem to care. When our server finally came to check on us, we told her the wraps never arrived. She came back and said the kitchen had "skipped" them. She asked if we wanted them boxed instead. To make matters worse, our plates were taken away while there was still food on them. I was not finished eating. No check-in, no apology, just plates removed as if we were an inconvenience. This location is poorly managed from top to bottom: dirty environment, inattentive service, missing food, and then we were charged for the wraps. I will never return to this PF Chang's, and I strongly recommend others avoid it as well. read more
