I must say has a person who used to regularly go to this location I'm pretty disappointed in the level of service and the lack of preparation that goes into what they serve today. Our waiter even though we only had two tables disappeared quite often and only brought one meal on his first trip then about 8 minutes later brought the other. His explanation was the kitchen staff were short and we're behind which is why we had to wait 25 minutes for our food in a restaurant with only six tables. Unfortunately it seems the quantity and quality of the food is gone down but I understand that's how it occurs sometimes with chain restaurants. I have a gift card that I will go back to spend but that most likely you'll be the last time I go with my next experience isn't better. Very Disappointing Experience We came to P.F. Chang to celebrate a truly wonderful milestone -- today we closed on our new home, and we chose this restaurant specifically to celebrate such a special occasion. Unfortunately, everything went wrong from the very beginning, starting with the welcome from the hostess. After we were seated, we waited at least 17 minutes for a server to come take our order. After 15 minutes, I actually started keeping track of the time because I couldn't believe we were still being ignored. Not once were we even offered water when we first arrived.‍ Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing as the service. As you can see in the photos, when we paid our $125 bill, approximately 90% of the food was left completely untouched. The rice was extremely overcooked, bland, and stuck together in one large, mushy mass. It was nothing like properly prepared, fluffy rice. The meat was also very disappointing and lacked flavor.‍ Most disappointing of all was the Pad Thai. My child orders Pad Thai at practically every restaurant we visit, and this was the first time it was simply inedible. I have lived in Charleston for more than four years, and this is actually the first restaurant review I have ever written here. I normally don't take the time to leave negative reviews, but I feel that this experience deserves to be shared. I am incredibly disappointed by both the level of service and the quality of the food. We spent $125 expecting to enjoy a special dinner celebrating one of the happiest days of our lives, and instead, this experience completely overshadowed the occasion. We just ordered takeout from here. We have serious gluten issue (Celiac disease) so paid extra for the gluten free versions of two different meals. When we tested them with a gluten sensor the rice, beef, and chicken all tested positive for gluten. So they were either not made with gluten free ingredients or had cross contamination. Either way, if you have to avoid gluten, be very cautious from this location. Very disappointing. read more

This was not the lunch spot we intended to celebrate at but when our first choice was closed, we stumbled upon Chang's and living near Savannah, we haven't been to Chang's in far too long!! Lunch did not disappoint! Service was killing it especially for only having the bartender, buser, and manager! The lunch portions are so big and a great deal! My wife's was not up to par but they had no issue taking hers off the bill and offering a replacement. We had to decline since we had an appointment to make so we shared my sesame chicken over brown rice and were completely satisfied. This review is for my UberEats experience. Not dine-in. I got combo lo-mein, and it satisfied my noodles craving. The portion is kinda small though. Definitely not shareable. I normally have a good experience here for what it is. I don't expect five star dining at a corporate mid-level chain. We sat in the bar area and the bartender had several tables as well as the full bar to cover. She did a great job considering. The food took almost 45 minutes to come out and the restaurant was not busy overall. The food was what you would expect at P.F. Chang's. It was decently priced. Having to wait 45 minutes in between appetizer and entrée was the problem. The manager walked by our table and one of my friends asked about a drink refill and he said wait for the bartender to come over and walked away. I was pretty surprised as everyone else I've encountered in and there has been friendly and helpful. It was a bad overall look for the restaurant and I'm not sure when I'll be back. read more

Everything about this restaurant needs improvement. Booked a reservation for Christmas a month before for 6:30 and was told we wouldn't be seated for at least an hour and a half. So... Let me start by saying in the past I would have given them a 3.5-4 star... The service gave them this extra over the 1! However, they have changed their menu (not for the better) and the quality of ingredients has really gone downhill as well. The emails with Monthly specials bring you in but you want a solid menu to keep you coming back. Perhaps they are more focused on the lunch crowd for an express lunch in 20 minutes or less or it's free. So if you're looking for something quick in the afternoon perhaps they have sacrificed speed by day for quality by night. The atmosphere is always a chill fun one that seems fancy yet somehow relaxed. The seating is comfy and the joint is spacious. But, back to be good as any good restaurant goes hopes for! The egg drop soup was so salty we had to add water to even make it palatable. It was a strange mix of sweet and sour meets egg. So be prepared for something a bit sweeter and saltier than your norm. Mom opted for the lo mein. They have changed their noodles from the fluffy almost upon lo mein to a more pan fried spaghetti flare. The new pad Thai was pretty solid on the noodle front but the amount of crushed peanut was overpowering and the shrimps were super tiny that they ended up being a bit overcooked. The ginger garlic chicken and broccoli is apparently the sweet spot and what Goldilocks should opt for. Be advised that this is very flavorful as well but the nice balance of the plain steamed white rice compliments this dish perfectly. I will say that the desserts were the redemption as they have a GF (rich) chocolate souffle with (real, dense) raspberry puree and (a simple scoop of) vanilla ice cream. Very pleased with this. And the fried banana wraps with coconut ice cream and some delicious berries were a hit all around! Having a gluten intolerance and finding a place with great desserts is rare. Not a good PG Changs. Have eaten at this chain since it was located in Highland Village, Houston, Texas in the 1980's. There's a great one In Gainesville, FL; a great one in Sugar Land, TX - both which we frequent several times per year. The hot and sour soup was not done the way the chain intends. The tofu and chicken were dark from just sitting in the soup base. Worst soup base ever for hot & sour. Too much vinegar!! Who is the cook at this location or do they even have a cook? The friend rice was so sweet from ALL the carrots in it. Just not right. The lettuce wraps were served with no crispy rice noodles, which it siesta has had other locations. Very quiet casual evening. Hot peach ginger tea for a chilly night. We started with lettuce wraps which are always yummy. The healthy Mandarin crunch salad was delicious. Great accompaniment to the Korean glass noodles. Everything was paired together nicely. The noodles could've had a bit more seasoning but other than that good. I loved eating at PF Chang's in Arizona and frequently ate there. I've been living here in the Charleston area for 4 years and this was my first visit to this restaurant. Utterly disappointed, the dumplings were cold and chewy, the Mongolian beef was good yet cold also. Overall I was very disappointed. The Chef needs to put a little more emphasis on quality and temperature. Server was new yet alright. Didn't have Bloody Mary mix and no Worcestershire sauce to make from scratch.
