The follow up from PF Chang's after submitting a Yelp review was far below satisfactory. The experience my family had was enough to convince us not to return. There was a bug that was about 2 inches long and the server responded by squashing it on the wall and saying 'oh that's weird' besides the fact the food was sub-par. I think maybe the food was tainted from stain/paint/chemical. I say that because I had gone to the restroom and it smelled freshly painted. Hadn't been to a P.F. Chang's in a couple years but was looking for a place to go after celebrating a birthday at Top Golf. Was sadly disappointed in the food and service. Service wise - our server was not personable at all, seemed very rushed, and even though the mask mandate recently expired and most of the other staff had masks on, she did not but should have based on how in-our-face she was. Food wise - very unimpressed for the price we paid for the portion size we received. Two of us ordered the Buddha's Feast, and we each only had about 6 small pieces of tofu in our meal and two pieces of broccoli. The main ingredient was the green beans. The kids meals looked pretty sad for the price. I usually get the tofu lettuce wraps but passed on those since they are now $9.50, for an appetizer? Will not be returning to this restaurant chain anytime soon unfortunately, based on our experience at this location. read more

Today was my first visit to PF Chang's. Our favorite server, Jeremy (Chubbs) came here from Red Robin, so we decided to come here for Father's Day. As it so happened, it was a good choice! Also of note, they have a good gluten-free menu here, which we used. I had the hokkien street noodles, with the wife having chicken fried rice. Both of us had the egg drop soup. The hokkien street noodles were very tasty. Each flavor was distinct, yet not one ingredient overpowered the other. With having changed to gluten-free, it was nice to be able to have Asian food again. The egg drop soup was well-seasoned, while not being spicy at all. When I need some comfort food or when I (or the wife) are sick, we will have to order delivery via GrubHub. Because we know Jeremy from before, we knew that he would treat us right, and today was exceptional, par for the course. I think my wife and I have found a new favorite spot. Of note, PF Chang's is a couple notches above Red Robin, which I greatly enjoy. Makes the atmosphere much more enjoyable. read more

Their rewards program sends you a free app/dessert for your birthday, so one was free. I got lettuce wraps with very little rice noodles ( sticks) and I asked for extra . The last time I got lettuce wraps the iceberg was disgusting . Did you know they tie up those lettuce bags a week at a time ? So you might get lettuce that's brown . Mine was and they still put it in my to go order. We are giving up on this place. The WORST delivery experience EVER. Half our order was missing. The restaurant admitted it was their fault. While one half our meal was getting cold, Sam from PF Changs said we needed to place an order for the missing items again and that Grub hub would not charge us. Sam offered to give us a free dessert, which wouldn't work because we're gluten-free and they don't have gluten-free desserts. When we asked for a gift card as compensation for the trouble, he said they don't so gift cards. In the meantime, Grub Hub wouldn't take the order because our bank flagged our card for too many separate purchases to the same place in too short a time. Sam said no one from the restaurant would drive the two stinking miles to our home to deliver to us. Not the manager nor anyone else. We're home sick with the flu, so going out to get the damned food ourselves is not an option. We did get an order through on PF Chang's website, but...THEN when the 2nd delivery came, it had NO cutlery AND we were charged for it!!!! This whole ordeal took OVER 3 hours from the start of the initial order. This was NOT made right, and we will make sure everyone we know is aware of how far PF Chang's WON'T go to make THEIR mistake right and satisfy a VERY unhappy regular customer. We've been there many times, 3 or 4 times a month. We won't be back. Update 12/13/2019...being thoroughly p.o.'d, I called the restaurant again...my husband was far too ill to have to try to deal with them again. I spoke to Whitney. She said she would refund the entire order and send us a gift card. The refund for both orders was done within the hour. We'll see if a gift card shows up. I was not easy on her after 3 hours of waiting for food and now having cold food and only one set of cutlery. She kept her cool and was very kind and responsive. Always an excellent choice for Sunday dinner with the family. They've definitely added things to their menu, but the staples are still there. A few friends took me to PF for a little bachelorette dinner. After enjoying lettuce wraps, Brussel sprouts and crispy green beans, out waitress brought us a round of shots to celebrate. I am pregnant and told her I could not have alcohol. She assured and reassured me more than once that the bartender knew I was pregnant and that she had requested a nonalcoholic shot among the lemon drop shots. The one in the middle was designated for me; adorned with whipped cream. And guess what... it was straight liquor. It's been two weeks since this experience and I'm still so confused how this happened and I learned a valuable lesson in trusting bartenders and wait staff. This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to! We always get the Mongolian beef because it's just that good. This time we added the pepper steak to go with which was a great choice recommended by our server. Even though the restaurant was packed we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our server, Madi, was so attentive and helpful when it came to ordering. We ended the meal with the Fire and Ice and these are the only pictures I have of the meal. VERY disappointing visit to what is/was one of my favorite restaurants. The last two visits were among the best restaurant experiences I've had recently - GREAT service and food, and had us referring it to others. But after this last one, probably not. No complaints on service - we didn't have our usual server who we love, but her fill-in was very good. But we ordered the street-fare lettuce wrap and California roll as usual. The sushi this time was just average, actually a little lower in quality to what we sometimes pick up at Sam's Club! The lettuce wrap, however, was HORRIBLE. The lettuce was at room temperature and the filling was almost bitter, like it had been overcooked or saturated in soy sauce. We sent it back and our server promised it to be much better and it was - which makes me wonder why/how they'd even send out the first version. We also ordered the walnut shrimp with melon that had been recommended by our server last time to sample and we fell in love with it. I don't know what went wrong, but this time it was flavorless and not at all as interesting as the first time tried. I'm sitting here tonight at a table with my mother. Half the restaurant is not seated because of this COVID nonsense, yet somehow our waiter, Kyle, hasn't made his way back to our table to find me gagging on hot mustard with no water in my glass. The manager, Julian, has passed our table twice and checked on everyone around us but managed to completely ignore my rather loud and hand waving motions for help. The manager and my waiter have visited the table across the room with three young college girls at least three times while I'm just hoping for water. Nope. Still ignoring me. If half the restaurant barely seated this crowd is up a creek if they really are ever busy. SHAMEFUL. I just asked my waiter if there was some reason he had time to wait on every table but ours and and he responded as he was walking away backwards waving his hands, "yeah, we're just a little busy." Busy and overwhelmed because you are disinterested and incapable are two different things. We're still here. The manager, Julian, has now walked right past me for the fifth time with me trying to get his attention and we are ignored. Terrible when the management is worse than the help. Kyle is my worthless waiter. Julian is the worthless manager that keeps passing me by. Lexie is a really good server. Unfortunately awe got the section next to hers. The bar staff is ALWAYS understaffed and is mismanaged. Our one over worked bartender was in the middle of everyone's supper told to go out and do a catering run. Smh. I was all cynical because P.F. Chang's is a chain. Well...the food was really good. Dad and I got the Chang's for Two. Hot and sour soup, chicken lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef extra green onion and Kung Pao chicken, and the banana wonton thing. The hot and sour was the lowlight of the meal. It was neither particularly hot nor sour, but... Brown. It didn't taste bad, but it was low on my list of best hot and sours I've had. Other than that, though, the food was really great. Chicken lettuce wraps were sublime - fresh, flavorful, and crunchy. Our entrees were both the bee's knees. The sauces were on point and the dishes as a whole were just executed well. We were both very happy! The banana wonton was a fun little treat at the end and came with some really tasty coconut ice cream. Our server, Kiera, was great. Shoutout to her. She took care of us well, from never letting our waters go empty to adding some extra rice to our to go boxes. Those things are appreciated. Finally, props for the atmosphere. It's beautiful in there, and it's a great spot to eat some good Chinese food and chill. Considering the small number of good Chinese food options in Omaha, I don't feel as bad recommending a chain. Came in for a birthday dinner for my wife. It was quite busy but it was happy hour so it's expected. Started off with some appetizers with the Crab Rangoon, dynamite shrimp, pork spare ribs, and chicken lettuce wraps! The ribs were way too salty and dry but everything was great besides that. The shrimp were easily my favorite. For our main dishes I had the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and she went with the Pad Thai. She loves Pad Thai so she was in heaven. She said everything was great for her dish. My shrimp was eh not bad but nothing special. The server said it was a restaurant favorite but it lacked flavor in my book. Just my opinion. Today was my first time at the PF Chang's in Omaha. I had been to the one in Des Moines before (several years ago in the days before I was an avid Yelper) and all I could remember was that I couldn't remember why I wasn't as huge of a fan as some other people I know. Yesterday I got an email about Briny Bard's accomplishment/free lettuce wrap promotion (http://www.pfchangs.com/briny/) I thought maybe I should give it a try. Unfortunately the most appealing part of the restaurant , to me, is still the giant horse statues outside (which I've always secretly wanted to climb and get a picture on). The decor on a whole is actually quite fantastic, but yeah it does lose some of it's charm when you remember that every PF Chang's has the same awesome decor. After that realization, it all feels a little less 'special'. The lunch bowls are definitely the way to go. For $9 I had sesame chicken, brown rice and a cup of hot and sour soup. My fellow diners spent $12-13 on their entrees and got less (in my estimation). That's when I remembered that I thought the portions were a little small for the 'premium' price. But all that being said, the food is good - they really know how to make "real" hot mustard here - and service was speedy and friendly, but now that I've satisfied my curiosity I don't need to go back unless it's for an after hours photo-op. ;) read more

I love the lettuce wraps. Everything else I've had there is ok, but the lettuce wraps are amazing. They're so crisp and refreshing but savory and hearty at the same time. The first time I had the vegetarian ones, I had to double-check with the server to make sure that I got the right ones because they were so meaty (yes, that's a compliment). Yesterday we got the chicken lettuce wraps, and they were incredible, as always! I tried the moo goo gai pan for the first time, and it was ok. The shrimp and chicken were cooked perfectly, but the giant pieces of vegetable were impossible to eat. I had an entire stalk of bok choy that was too rounded and slimy to cut, so I didn't get to actually taste any of it. My shrimp still had the tails on, which seemed a little weird to me in a stir-fried dish. If I'm going to get a seafood dish there again, I'll go with the shrimp in lobster sauce, which is pretty rockstar. My friend got the shaking beef, and he said that he'd definitely get it again. Our server was friendly and efficient, although it was obvious that the poor girl had too many tables.
