They have a $21.59 (each) special for two people that includes soup or salad, pick of one appetizer between two people and a choice of entrée. It was a good deal and it was plenty of food. We chose the pork dumplings which were delicious. The sweet/sour soup was a little better than the egg drop soup which was very light & brothy, Mongolian beef was tasty and the sesame chicken could've been a little more crispy but it was still flavored well. I ordered takeout again and I don't know if their food is a lot better when you dine in, but this was the worst their food has ever been and I've gotten food here and there throughout the many years...almost always takeout. The food was the blandest it's ever been and didn't look that visually appealing. The orange chicken breading was mushy too. Also, they charge about $20 per entree', but the takeout containers they use has a separation in which they put white rice in half of it, so you're paying $20 for just maybe two servings of the dish. The PF Chang I had the experience was at the Rancho Cucamonga location. Sometimes I like coming to this location for lunch for the nice ambiance, but today was a miss and it saddens me because I didn't have any problems before but I won't be back. I was a party of one and was seated immediately, but my server Drea was preoccupied with her table of 5, I guess a party of one wasn't that appealing. So the manager named Alex must have been watching from somewhere and he came right over and got my drinks and food order. He was super nice and attentive. So finally my server Drea came over an said "oh, he didn't tell me he had gotten your drinks and order already". She brought my eggroll to me. Once again the manager (Alex) repeatedly made sure I had everything I needed. He brought my food when it was ready, he was very attentive, I really appreciated him. I know some servers might frown on a single customer oppose to a big party, but I deserve to treated just like anyone else. Well established location of this Chinese-inspired chain restaurant. The food options are plentiful and flavorful. Chinese dishes tailored to a western palate. My favorites include the Mongolian Beef and Orange Chicken. They have great flavors for veggie dishes such as Ma Po Tofu. The Wonton Soup in bowl size is a great value and perfect for cold weather. They are famous for their Lettuce Wrap but that has been copied and perfected by so many other restaurants over the years now, so I no longer order it. The hot tea selection and signature cocktails are also worth mentioning. Ambiance is cozy and the booths are great for private dinners or date night. The decorations are Chinese history inspired. Service is hit and miss. Today was great, but I've also had disappointing visits. Overall, I keep coming back for great food and ambiance. I do have to cut a point off for sharply increased prices and inconsistent service. read more

Then we had an odd number of people so they charged one person the 20.99 for the Feast and they could not get an appetizer, instead of the $17.99 price for the "dinner special which was the same as the "feast" price for one person. Party of 4 people and we decided to go to P.F Chang's for dinner on 11-8-2025. We had reservations for 5:30PM. We arrived on time and let the front concierge know. We were the only people waiting to be seated and the lady at the front concierge told us: "We have you logged in for you 5:30 reservation, but our wait help has to get situated and we have until 5:35 before we can seat you." We all looked at each other and said: "What?" "Why?" No response. The girl just kept wiping down the menus. The purpose of a reservation is that a restaurant, any restaurant should have a table already put aside for reservation guests arriving. Restaurants we have been to before have done just that. The best restaurants we have been that seats their guests at their reservation time is King's Fish House and Paul Martin's. So we were a bit befuddled as to why we were told that. At our 5:30 reservation, the restaurant was not overly crowded. There were many seats available and plenty from what we observed; of wait staff/servers. Will we be back? What has happened to PF Chang's??? I was with my niece and nephew who are foodies for sure. I decided I wanted my niece and nephew to experience this PF like I did. A nice sit down Asian restaurant, but we also had a gift card, too. The ambiance is great with PF Chang's. Their servers are great, I don't think I've experienced anything bad at PF Chang's at all. This is the first time in a long time that I finally made my way back to PF Chang's. So we decided to order a handful of entree's to share. It was so so disappointing. OMG! I really think they had changed the content or what's in their meat. We ordered chicken lettuce wrap, shrimp kung pao, beef (something?), and chicken broccoli(?). The only thing we liked the most was the lettuce wraps, the dumplings were pretty good. Everything else was so salty and tasted pretty much the same. I feel most of the entrees were kind of repetitive. Then the worst of all, the chicken meat weren't just meat, it was breaded and then fried and then stir fried. Oh, just horrible, this technique is to make the chicken pieces look bigger. Then the same exact thing was done with the beef dishes. Yeah, the beef entrees don't let the pictures in the menu fool you because it did to us. So my niece and nephew said this is just an expensive Panda Express which you probably get much more quality food at Panda and pay less. So that was our takeaway for the night. Mongolian beef was lukewarm and the beef was dry like jerky. Either this was reheated or left under the heat lamp too long. Shrimp lo mein was even worse. Served lukewarm. Shrimp was rubbery and the noodles were the ramen soup kind. No color to the noodles and no char taste to them. There are independent places that serve better food at a fraction of the price. PF Chang's - Rancho Cucamonga: Where Style Tries (and Fails) to Mask Substance. This was my second--and likely last--visit to a PF Chang's. My first was in Omaha, and this time in Rancho Cucamonga. Both experiences revealed the same truth: PF Chang's is an overhyped, overpriced chain serving reheated, uninspired food in a chaotic atmosphere. Let's start with the only redeeming part: our server. He was courteous and energetic, trying their best to create a good experience. However, no level of service could compensate for the disaster that came out of the kitchen. We began with appetizers, and they were a warning sign we should have noticed. The lemon-flavored dumplings were rubbery and undercooked, the egg rolls were anything but "crispy"--limp and greasy--and the hot and sour soup was offensively burnt. Then, in a classic display of poor pacing, the entrées arrived just minutes after the appetizers were served. Instead of a well-timed meal, we were left juggling plates and watching our main courses go lukewarm before we even got to eat them. Not that the entrées were worth the wait--or the price. The maple-glazed salmon was undercooked, watery, and not fresh. It had the bland, slightly fishy quality of something pulled from a plastic pouch and microwaved. The Mongolian beef was burnt and nearly inedible--so tough it felt like chewing tire rubber. The chicken fried rice was bizarrely sweet, as if someone had confused it with a dessert recipe. Nothing tasted fresh. Everything screamed "pre-made chain food" that had been hastily assembled and reheated. PF Chang's may present itself as an upscale Asian-fusion experience, but this location felt more like a chaotic cafeteria dressed up with dim lighting and dark wood. Speaking of chaos--good luck having a conversation. The restaurant was so loud, we had to shout just to hear each other across the table. The ambiance was more like a sports bar during playoff season than a restaurant supposedly offering a polished dining experience. The meal ended on a bittersweet note--literally. The chocolate soufflé was flavorful, but its texture was completely off. Instead of being light and airy as a proper soufflé should be, it had the density of chocolate paste. Tasty? Yes. But still a disappointment by culinary standards. Oh, and did I mention the indigestion? That sealed the deal. Final Verdict: PF Chang's in Rancho Cucamonga offers the worst of both worlds--expensive pricing with low-quality, mass-produced food in a noisy, poorly managed setting. Save your money, your stomach, and your voice. Dine somewhere that actually cares about food and the people eating it. read more

Christine our server was excellent . Somehow at this location the foods we ordered did not taste as good like the location in Long Beach pier area ? We had the stir fried beef with onions , it was so salty and some of the beef were so dry as if it's cooked too long . The beef chow mein also too salty . Ma po tofu is not what we expected- here it's fried tofu smothered in sweet / chili sauce type . My husband questioned me and I had to ask our waiter Christine to make sure we didn't get someone else's food. Nope! It's not the same style were used to ordered ma po tofu at the other Chinese restaurants . Our waiter did offer if we would like to take it off or order a replacement. On this last visit, the food was overpriced, the flavor was not good, and it caused one of my party members to rush to the bathroom with stomach pain.
