My group and I had a below average experience here. The beginning went smoothly, we got sat at a booth pretty soon after checking in for a reservation. We noticed the menus were put directly on top of the plates which we felt was unsanitary. One of our plates was also not clean. We wiped down the plates. I ordered the peach boba breeze which was tasty though lacked popping boba. There were just a few. We ordered the Chef's 3 course meal which includes soup/salad, an appetizer and an entree. I thought the salad was tasty and I liked the wontons on top. The appetizer came out quickly too, but I didn't like the taste of the filling for the vegetable spring rolls. I wish I tried something else. Next, my group shared all the entrees we requested. The Mongolian beef had a burnt taste and the portion was lacking for this one. The firecracker shrimp had quite a fishy taste which made it feel perhaps expired. I liked the crispy honey shrimp, though my peer thought the breading was stale. The brown rice was fine and we felt the white rice was undercooked. Unfortunately the service was also not ideal as he did not come by to refill our drinks. There were a lot of tables around us celebrating birthdays. The booth right behind us too. Unfortunately the bubble machine (used by staff) felt obnoxious and bubbles floated towards us and got in our food. My peer did not want to eat his soapy salad as a result. I expected this place to be average coming in, but it fell short. I would not come again.

I've been here several times, and the service is always excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome. The vibe is laid back and casual perfect for a relaxed meal. The chicken lettuce wraps are always a favorite, with the perfect mix of tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and flavorful sauces. The lo mein was spot on too, soft noodles with great texture and perfectly cooked meat.

The service and ambience is still pretty awesome, but I have to say all the flavours are missing. I don't know what happened if there was a resume change to the shafts or the organisation of chefs and their protocols but it did not taste at all like I had remembered it For example we ordered pan fried noodles with vegetables pretty simple and it seemed like they just put vegetables over crispy noodles and teriyaki sauce no flavour at all second example is there lettuce wraps used to be super yummy crunchy full of flavour this time it just taste like there was soy sauce on it there was absolutely no flavour Thank God the Mongolian beef was still pretty good. I'm pretty disappointed in General though not looking forward to going back to any of these chains anymore I'm sure there has been a change in the management I believe They are corporately owned

Unfortunately, a very bad experience. Went on a lunch date and got sat in a dirty booth that had so many cobwebs. The booth seemed to not have been cleaned in a very long time. I asked my waitress for soy sauce and she gave me an open dirty bottle from a table next to me in which the couple had just left and the bottle was not cleaned prior to being given to me. Although i understand some things might be used more than once, i do expect for the bottles to be sanitized after every party use due to infection control. I was validated when the busboy asked me if i wanted a new one because the waitress should have gotten me a clean one from the start. If you do come to PF Changs maybe try a different location or do not get Melanie as your server.

First time came here, very good experience. I order mangolian trio , and spicy chang's , it was delicious. Basically the Mongolia trio, there are fried shrimp, chicken , and beef. It was pretty busy. Good service!! Hasha .I really like the vibes in this place. It almost same like Yard house, but it's better. Place is huge , clean, and fancy! I saw some people having birthday parties and they give them candle , bubbles, and celebrate it. It was so fascinating. I would come back soon! Would bring some friends or family to celebrate birthday here! Price also affordable.

First time at P.f. chang's and I was quite impressed with the lettuce wrap! The others were also good but some tasted a bit over sauced. Our waiter was really cool and worked well with our party of 10 for a birthday dinner! He even last minute took out the birthday candle and bubbles which was sweet!

Honey chicken was very good. The white rice was exceptionally dry. That's an understatement.

5/30/2025 @ 12:00 PM. Party of 3. Our server Drea was exceptional. The food was not good. ! The white rice was so DRY ! Honey Chicken was moist and good. I couldn't eat the ribs. The kung pow chicken was very spicy. My husband said and delicious.. We will not be back. My sister-in-law went home and got very sick. I didn't eat the ribs she did. . My sister-in-law had the fried rice, chicken and shrimp. She said hers was delicious.. Thank you to our server Drea for being absolutely amazing !

First and last time to P.F. Chang's. I have to say the ambiance is nice and the service was good. I didn't know what to expect or how the food was so we ordered different menu items to try a variety of dishes. I was not impressed with their food. The rice was dry and firm, the meat was dry even with the sauce added and the salmon looked like a white frozen hash brown from McD's with some sauce added to it for flavor. Their Wonton Soup was actually good and plentiful but lacking flavor. The Sushi Rolls had to be the best out of everything both tasty and filling. If you want better Chinese Food please support your local Mom and Pop Restaurants, even Panda is better!

    Ask the Community - P.F. Chang's

Do they have a happy hour menu?

I did not see one when we were last there

    Happy hour days and time?

Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm. The Bar has an extended HH till 7pm.

Does the Chinese chef cook the food or American chef cook the food?

Why should that matter? If the chef is experienced/trained and know’s what they are doing, it’s irrelevant what nationality they are.

    Is there any coupons?

I've never heard of coupons for P.F. Chang's but their prices are very reasonable, they give you a lot of food and it taste great. Wonderful staff as well.

Many of the dishes are meant to be shared, making it a good spot to order a few plates for the table. The cucumber salad is a solid starter. It is something refreshing to snack on while you wait for the rest of your food. I ordered the Cheese and Chicken Rolls along with the Golden Prime Beef Soup. The rolls were rather greasy and indulgent, and I would probably skip them next time. If you must try them, I'd recommend limiting yourself to one or two pieces. The Golden Prime Beef Soup, on the other hand, packs a serious kick. If you can't handle much spice, definitely let the staff know. Those bright red chilies aren't just for show; their heat permeates the entire broth. My conclusion is about the same as my introduction: the fare is inoffensive, but it's consistent and good. It's a dependable option when you're looking for a casual Chinese meal without much fuss.

Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Every chicken pieces were crunchy and no bad pieces in this batch. This is not your panda Express orange chicken or Panda Inn, this is your Mr Chows Beverly hills orange chicken. Chicken dumplings had a good filling to wrapper ratio, but the filling needed way more seasoning. It just tasted like wet, mushy stuff inside, and drowning the dumpling in chili oil barely helped. And the two fried dishes weren't flavorful either--they weren't dredged very well, so they just tasted like oil. This was especially disappointing for the scallion pancake, since it looked nice...but didn't taste of scallions at all. Overall, really disappointing. I might give it a try at a different location if the opportunity comes up, but with the menu being rather small, I'm not even sure it'd be worth the time.

We tried a few items such as their beef roll, wonton with chili sauce, their seven grams xlb, , fried mini buns, noodle with scallion oil sauce, and potato string shrimp. Their seven grams xlb was disappointing, the broth and meat inside didn't have any flavor to it IMO. The mini buns were sweet and heavy, and we split one and didn't touch the rest. The noodle with scallion sauce was just okay...again, not much flavor. I didn't like the potato shrimp at all, too doughy and hard. The beef rolls were just okay to me, again kinda bland without dumping it in shoyu and vinegar). The best dish was their spicy wontons. It had a nice kick to it and we saved the sauce to dump everything else we ate in it lol.

It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I originally found this place after seeing someone on Instagram mention their $19.99 all-day AYCE hot pot deal. At that price, I had to check it out. Funny enough, despite having "BBQ" in the name, there was no BBQ during our visit. It's basically an AYCE hot pot restaurant, so don't come expecting to grill meats at the table! Looking back, we honestly should've just gotten the $19.99 option because that is where the value is. Instead, we upgraded to the Ultimate for $45.99 per person, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The biggest disappointment was the "Wagyu." The meat quality didn't really taste or look Wagyu grade to us. Some cuts seemed closer to Prime and others more like Choice. For more than double the price of the basic tier, I was expecting a noticeable jump in quality. The seafood selection on the Ultimate was also pretty limited. We received one scallop and one prawn per person, plus one lobster tail that was split in half between us. At $45.99, I expected a little more. We chose the spicy broth and sukiyaki broth. Both were okay, but neither really stood out compared to other hot pot places we've tried. Our favorite meats ended up being the Wagyu short ribs and Prime ribeye. Huge shout-out to our server Brandon because he really tried his best to take care of us. The restaurant seemed severely understaffed in the back where they were slicing meats and preparing seafood, so I don't blame him for the slow service. He was helpful throughout the night and even personally went into the kitchen to get us more of the short ribs and Prime ribeye when we told him those were our favorites. What surprised me was that I also tried the meats included with the $19.99 AYCE option, and honestly, they were perfectly good for the price. You get choices like pork belly, beef short plate, and lamb shoulder, along with the fish ball, vegetable, and other hot pot bars. After trying both levels, I don't think the Ultimate gave us enough of an upgrade to justify paying more than twice as much. The ambiance is your typical casual AYCE hot pot restaurant with a sauce bar, meat station, and ingredient bars. It wasn't very busy on our Thursday night visit, so we were able to sit comfortably and have a normal conversation. Parking was easy with a large free parking lot shared with the surrounding restaurants. Overall, I think Papa Zhang is worth checking out, but I'd stick with the $19.99 AYCE hot pot. At that price, the value is honestly hard to beat. The $45.99 Ultimate just didn't deliver enough of an upgrade in meat or seafood quality for us. If I come back, I'm saving the $26 and going straight for the $19.99 option. And maybe one day I'll figure out where the "BBQ" part of Papa Zhang Hotpot & BBQ is hiding.

I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro. I almost felt robbed here.....either every dish was lacking peppercorns and numbness, or it was missing Umami, Alot of it...so I leave anyone who wants to challenge my opinion otherwise and prove me wrong that the food here indeed belongs in a long list of top notch Szechuan Hunan Restaurants in Los Angeles. Even if this place opened up in Phoenix, I'm sorry, it's going to rank in the lower end of the bell curve. It was a hot day. I felt the service lady doesn't know how to tell "Customers Need Ice Water" and I had to vocally tell her ice and water please. I don't know, been a long week, haven't gone home for 10 days and just been bouncing on and off my rig all across the US....I just wanted some food I could really enjoy today, and Chili Bistro failed to deliver.
