The PF Chang I had the experience was at the Rancho Cucamonga location. Sometimes I like coming to this location for lunch for the nice ambiance, but today was a miss and it saddens me because I didn't have any problems before but I won't be back. I was a party of one and was seated immediately, but my server Drea was preoccupied with her table of 5, I guess a party of one wasn't that appealing. So the manager named Alex must have been watching from somewhere and he came right over and got my drinks and food order. He was super nice and attentive. So finally my server Drea came over an said "oh, he didn't tell me he had gotten your drinks and order already". She brought my eggroll to me. Once again the manager (Alex) repeatedly made sure I had everything I needed. He brought my food when it was ready, he was very attentive, I really appreciated him. I know some servers might frown on a single customer oppose to a big party, but I deserve to treated just like anyone else. Mongolian beef was lukewarm and the beef was dry like jerky. Either this was reheated or left under the heat lamp too long. Shrimp lo mein was even worse. Served lukewarm. Shrimp was rubbery and the noodles were the ramen soup kind. No color to the noodles and no char taste to them. There are independent places that serve better food at a fraction of the price. PF Chang's - Rancho Cucamonga: Where Style Tries (and Fails) to Mask Substance. This was my second--and likely last--visit to a PF Chang's. My first was in Omaha, and this time in Rancho Cucamonga. Both experiences revealed the same truth: PF Chang's is an overhyped, overpriced chain serving reheated, uninspired food in a chaotic atmosphere. Let's start with the only redeeming part: our server. He was courteous and energetic, trying their best to create a good experience. However, no level of service could compensate for the disaster that came out of the kitchen. We began with appetizers, and they were a warning sign we should have noticed. The lemon-flavored dumplings were rubbery and undercooked, the egg rolls were anything but "crispy"--limp and greasy--and the hot and sour soup was offensively burnt. Then, in a classic display of poor pacing, the entrées arrived just minutes after the appetizers were served. Instead of a well-timed meal, we were left juggling plates and watching our main courses go lukewarm before we even got to eat them. Not that the entrées were worth the wait--or the price. The maple-glazed salmon was undercooked, watery, and not fresh. It had the bland, slightly fishy quality of something pulled from a plastic pouch and microwaved. The Mongolian beef was burnt and nearly inedible--so tough it felt like chewing tire rubber. The chicken fried rice was bizarrely sweet, as if someone had confused it with a dessert recipe. Nothing tasted fresh. Everything screamed "pre-made chain food" that had been hastily assembled and reheated. PF Chang's may present itself as an upscale Asian-fusion experience, but this location felt more like a chaotic cafeteria dressed up with dim lighting and dark wood. Speaking of chaos--good luck having a conversation. The restaurant was so loud, we had to shout just to hear each other across the table. The ambiance was more like a sports bar during playoff season than a restaurant supposedly offering a polished dining experience. The meal ended on a bittersweet note--literally. The chocolate soufflé was flavorful, but its texture was completely off. Instead of being light and airy as a proper soufflé should be, it had the density of chocolate paste. Tasty? Yes. But still a disappointment by culinary standards. Oh, and did I mention the indigestion? That sealed the deal. Final Verdict: PF Chang's in Rancho Cucamonga offers the worst of both worlds--expensive pricing with low-quality, mass-produced food in a noisy, poorly managed setting. Save your money, your stomach, and your voice. Dine somewhere that actually cares about food and the people eating it. read more

Christine our server was excellent . Somehow at this location the foods we ordered did not taste as good like the location in Long Beach pier area ? We had the stir fried beef with onions , it was so salty and some of the beef were so dry as if it's cooked too long . The beef chow mein also too salty . Ma po tofu is not what we expected- here it's fried tofu smothered in sweet / chili sauce type . My husband questioned me and I had to ask our waiter Christine to make sure we didn't get someone else's food. Nope! We came in today for lunch around 1230 on a Wednesday. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was Braden, very friendly, helpful and regularly checked on us. It has been at least two years since we ate inside, we have done curbside pick up a few times since the pandemic started. The flavors and variety of gluten-free options are wonderful. I had the gluten-free lettuce cups, broccoli beef, fried rice and chocolate soufflé. All of my choices were wonderful and flavorful. My Son ordered shrimp tempura roll, orange chicken, fried rice, and cheesecake. His food looked really good and he really enjoyed all of it. Came here for a Galentine's linner (late lunch, early dinner) during the Superbowl which meant NO WAIT! I've eaten at this exact P.F. Changs once, years ago, because someone gave my family gift cards for this place and it was delicious back then and it's still delicious to this day! I can't be the only one that doesn't have this on my go-to list of favorite places to dine at and then when I do dine here I instantly regret the many times I've eaten elsewhere and experienced mid (the slang term the kids use) service and food quality, so this review is a reminder to myself to eat here more often. Upon arrival, this place is NOICE! Like you could film a dinner scene for a movie here and I would be convinced it's at a fancy restaurant in Los Angeles or Hollywood. The staff were all dressed nice in all black and sporting red lipstick or red accents in their uniform and they were really kind and acknowledged us once we walked in the door and let us know our table would just be a few minutes. Once we sat down our server Aaron stopped by and took care of us and took down our drink, appetizer and linner orders. He checked on us throughout our time there and refilled our drinks without us having to flag him down. We ordered the lettuce wraps and dynamite shrimp for appetizers, kung pao chicken, crispy honey chicken and chicken pad Thai for the entrees and everything was SO GOOD! Our meal came with a big bowl of rice, but we're fans of sticky rice and this rice was a little too dry for our taste but still decent. I was worried it wouldn't be enough food for three hungry people, but all of this was more than enough and we had 2 to-go containers of food leftover after. I definitely want to come back and try the other entree items. Overall we had a very good time here catching up with each other and it's just a really nice ambiance for anyone that's looking to celebrate a special occasion. I have been a long time FAN of PFC. Love their food. Today was just ok. And for the price, that is unacceptable. First the good. The lettuce wraps were just as delicious as always. Always a hit. The dumplings were equally as delicious. Again, we all enjoyed them. A+ for both... The bad. The Mongolian Beef tasted amazing BUT was cut much thinner and there was less of it. Sadly, what was once a tender explosion of flavor is now thinly sliced and not nearly as tender. The smaller portions also stood out. BUT you got twice the amount of green onions to disguise the bait and switch. The Kung Pao Chicken was lack luster. Normally kind of pan fried with crispy texture, it's wasn't the same. Mushy and.... Just not the same. This entree also seemed to shrink but maintained a hefty price. Lastly, the table was sticky and had visible drippings on it. I mentioned it to our hostess at seating and she promptly wiped it down. It remained sticky after and I just thought, "huh, PFC was always so attentive to detail." It was less than what we all expected. After dropping $75 + tip for lunch on a party of 3? I have to say, the quality and value just wasn't there. I am gluten free and love P.F. Chang's, until we had Mother's Day dinner at this location. I disclosed to the waiter that all our dishes will be gluten free. Service: I had to mention gluten free several times. Then we were served the pot sticker sauce. Again I had to make sure it was gluten free as I had already put it on my food. The waiter said "let me double check". He came back and said it was not. I told him how sick I will become and I could not have that. Gave my husband my food and I was left with very little food. I was polite and no matter how many times I mentioned gluten free, he did not listen. Food Chang's chicken was soggy. But we still ate it. Later that night my whole family was sick from the food. The next morning, my 4 year old went to school and had an accident in his pants. We had to bring him home. We were never offered fresh food or if we needed refills or replacement for the food I had put the non gluten free sauce on. over $100 check and we were left sick and left overs that were inedible. we were very disappointed and sick to our stomachs. Beef w/Broccoli, was fine, Kung Pao Chicken Crispy Honey Shrimp was good. Singapore Street Noodles, I've had much better. We have always enjoyed the occasional meal at PF Chang's. We stopped in this past Saturday evening about 5pm in hopes of a Happy Hour special. No such luck. Happy hour is only during the week days until 6 pm. Very disappointing since we both have jobs and don't get home until 6 pm. We decided on several appetizers to go with our Mai Tai's. We enjoyed the Tempura Calamari & Vegetables, hand folded Crab Wontons, the Shrimp Tempura Rolls, Wonton Soup and Kung Pao Dragon Rolls (yum!). All of our food was prepared very well and really delicious! A bit pricey at times and the services was good, not great, but just good. Expected a bit more from them. Overall, PF Chang's is a good large chain Asian food restaurant. They do command a bit more money for the food and sometimes the prices are a little high for a meal at a chain restaurant but then again, the food is always very good. Not some place I will frequent as there are some better options out there for Asian food, but worth visiting when the mood strikes. read more

Well, the good thing about this place was the server. I didn't get is name, but he was tending bar. This guy was super nice and funny too. The other thing I liked was the decor. Very nice looking place. Now for the food: I remember why I never come to the place! I only came because I was meeting my wife and daughter. No menu's you have to do the scan on your phone and see the menu! So we ordered 3 items and the food was really good! I saw some of the negative reviews however the food was better then I thought it would be after reading them! Don't always believe the negative as the positive always is better in the long run! The service was also great maybe a little slow but it was busy and maybe they were a little short on help! I never write reviews, especially ones that are in any way negative...but the experience my party & I had was just disappointing. The food itself was fine, & the service at the beginning of our visit was going well. We ordered & got our drinks, appetizers and eventually, main courses brought to our table. My party was being served by a waitress named Thessa. She seemed polite, but as the night progressed, she was gone for long chunks of time without anyone to assist us. She told me us she'd bring our water refills, but of course she never did, even when she did EVENTUALLY return to assist the rest of our party that came later, she completely ignored it. Basically anything we needed, we'd have to flag her down and ask. By the end of our visit, we wanted to have the fun sparkler & have the staff sing happy birthday to finish off the night. We notified Thessa, waited ANOTHER 20 minutes for her to return, & when she finally did, she placed down the birthday dessert, lit the sparkler with a grim attitude & walked away. Our party had to sing Happy Birthday without any lively staff to help celebrate, like we'd seen so many others do before. We were completely shocked at how careless our server was. I suggested we tip $0, but we figured maybe she was having a rough night. We tipped $10, begrudgingly, since one of our party is a waitress but also commented that she never had service THIS bad, but it would be crass to leave no tip. In summation, the was delicious but Thessa perhaps should be retrained as a waitress. I wish her all the best especially if she was having personal problems that night, but even so, the customer service was remarkably bad. 1 star. read more
