Ordered a regular bowl with rice, noodles, beef, sautéed veggies that consist of broccoli and zucchini. I also added some cheese, Salandro karaoke and peanut sauce on top as well as sesame seeds. A bit of a hodgepodge bowl but in the end, was pretty decent. I got spicy pork on top of a buckwheat noodle and salad base. The spicy pork was pretty saucy and gave plenty of flavor to everything once mixed up. I got the brussel sprouts and sweet potato sides and I feel like those would've been fine in a separate container as they had their own seasoning/flavor that didn't quite mesh too well with the rest of my bowl. I barely used the sauces I got on the side because the spicy pork already flavored what didn't have a dressing on it. I ordered a mini salmon bowl through Uber. I simply asked for an extra sauce and on the receipt they wrote the mini bowl only gets one sauce, and when I open the bag I saw NO sauces. I call to speak to someone to ask if I can get some type of credit or anything and the lady on the phone was so rude. I asked for her name (so I can let them know who HELPED me) She literally told me just write a complaint and HUNG UP on me. I opted to get a mini bowl and had salad as a base, chicken as my protein, and added some delicious sautéed zucchini on top. I was able to pick three toppings but I just opted for broccoli on top. I chose kimchi rice, spicy pork, roasted brussel sprouts +kimchi, roasted veggies, pickled red onion, cheese, cilantro, fried shallot and the hot and honey teriyaki sauce. I felt like the bowl was way too saucy and overwhelming. I do think that if I just stuck with 1 sauce rather than the 2, the bowl would've tasted better. First, the bowls are delicious, and I love the variety of toppings and sauces that On + On offers. However, my latest experience was not the best. I got sick from food poisoning a few hours after eating a rice bowl from On + On. After suffering from vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain for a few days, I can't say that I want to eat at On + On again. My experience is based on my meal from December 30th, 2022 around 6p.m., so please understand that my review is based on my meal from this time, and your personal experience may be a bit different from mine. I've only been here once before a long while back and had enjoyed my meal. I was craving bibim guksu and wanted something quick and I thought this place would curb the craving. My experience and my meal were not as enjoyable the second time. I was craving spicy pork but was told they were out and it would take some time to cook. They asked if I wanted anything else. I told them no, pork was the only thing I wanted. The server seemed to glitch at my answer and took a beat before asking if they wanted me to have them ask how long it would take. Um, yes. I was informed it would take about 12min. I said I would wait and continued with my order. At the register I informed the other server that I was waiting on the pork. They said ok and would have that ready for me once it done. Cut to me waiting now almost 20min. I was completely forgotten about. It wasn't that busy and the servers made eye contact with me several times. I finally walked up to the counter and was given a look like they had never seen me before. I asked about my pork and a light bulb came on. I was given a side of the spicy pork. Even after the weird service and waiting, the meal was not worth all that trouble. The pork was so tough and not the spicy pork I was expecting. I'm used to what I would get a Korean restaurant or something my mom would prepare. This was not it and it was so tough and chewy. And the soba noodles were over cooked. Also why is the zucchini cut into such large chunks? Should be more bite sized. And where is the kimchi with the Brussels sprouts and kimchi? I ended up adding my own at home. I guess if you aren't looking for real Korean food and want a healthy and somewhat quick option for lunch/dinner this place would be good for you. When I asked for a larger bowl for my meal, I was flatly denied without any reasonable explanation, which left me feeling frustrated. I would've been okay paying for a larger bowl so I could mix my mini bowl comfortably without the ingredients spilling over, but the worker kept denying me. The way you speak to someone makes such a big difference. Being denied is fine, but the message can be delivered in a kind and professional manner.
