Haven't eaten at a P.F Changs in ages...-i .was so excited to go to the Osprey/ Sarasota location and hoped it would be like seeing an old friend. Well, it kind of was. The Inside hadn't changed much...possibly the decor from when it opened? Host/ hostess was super nice and attentive. We had a rez, arrived early and were seated immediately, which we appreciated. Our server was Kathryn, she was excellent throughout our service. Attentive, without overdoing it. We tried a couple of new menu items. The tiger roll was delicious and the edamame was a healthy portion.I ordered an off- menu item...won't do that again. Coke products are found here ( and lots of unique specialty drinks too). GpS directions were kind of off so pay attention when parking. Parting was ok....Still think L.A. and San Diego versions are the best. The manager was also very "available"...made rounds to insure quality, we liked that. The food was good...not great from what I remember in past visits in L.A. locations...but we "will" be back to try again at this location... The food was great, I had a Lo Mien Combo(Chicken & Beef) with thier amazing Pork Dumplings. Our server was excellent, helped a ton in selecting our bottle of wine for the dinner. The general manager came over and introduced himself and had a conversation which was very welcoming. The place was really clean and the aesthetics of the place were great, the only issue I felt was the music. Playing club music in a nice restaurant is just off putting to me in a way. This is what I love: the ambiance, the service, the food portions. For me, when I'm dining solo, I want to feel comfortable and have a great meal or light bite. PF Chang's Sarasota delivers. EXPERT cocktails and wine selection, as well as a very nice selection of appetizers and meals. I opted for the Asian Salad w/ salmon which was perfection and checked all the boxes for me. I cook potstickers/dumplings at home, but those served to my fellow dinners gave me something to aspire to. Definitely will be back to try a more substantial meal in the future. The food is absolutely fantastic, every dish has a lot of flavor and personality besides all of them being very visually appealing. The cocktails stand out for their presentation and amazing taste. I have worked in Thai and Japanese cuisine restaurants before and I have to say that this place honors genuine Asian cuisine with their extensive and versatile menu. Decided give this restaurant a try again. We stopped in at 2 in the afternoon . It took a long time to be waited on even though there were only 5 other tables full. After finally ordering 4 lunch specials it took a long time to get our sweet and sour soup. The soup was real good although my Mongolian Beef was very chewy. The waitress replaced it. The replacement was way over cooked and more like crispy beef but it was tender. My wife like her teriyaki chicken and my son like his teriyaki beef. The worst P.F. Chang's I've ever ordered from. The picture shows the amount of chicken included in my gluten free pad Thai other than one small piece I attempted to eat. It was so hard it was inedible. The entire thing was under flavored and dry but I ate the noodles. This was a DoorDash order. We spent $180 on 8 dishes, but when the order arrived, the total amount of food looked like it could barely fill one single small plate. It was deeply embarrassing to serve this to my family and guests.The Mongolian Beef cost $25 and came with only 4 small cubes of meat. To make matters worse, the rice served at the bottom of the container was cold, old, and chewy. The food was delivered in cheap, dark recycled plastic containers packed in a bunch of plastic bags, showing absolutely no care for presentation. Got there about 8 pm on St. Patrick's. Think because of that place pretty empty. Started with one of the new martinis - it was the lychee martini and quite tasty. Got the big bowl of wonton soup. It has nice wontons snd shrimp. For dinner got teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken. Teriyaki has pineapple and gas a very light and sweet flavor. I should've read the reviews before stopping to eat here but I was so excited to have found a P.F. Chang's in the area. I have been to all the P.F. Chang's in South Florida and have never had an issue. But I should have taken it as a sign that the restaurant was completely empty. The only people there were the employees. Very bad sign. My husband and I went for dinner and our waitress was serious but efficient. Our issue was the food. I ordered from the dinner special and my husband ordered from the regular menu. We started the meal with crab wontons. The entire meal tasted like old, mixed oil. I couldn't finish my meal. I was grossed out. As soon as I got into the car I was nauseous and sick to my stomach. We both had stomach issues all night and pretty sure we got some sort of food poisoning from either the wontons or the oil. Won't be returning to this location. read more

This P.F. Changs is awful compared to any other of their restaurants I've been in. First, it's super tiny and bright; it feels more like a fast food restaurant. It's disappointing to see one of my favorite restaurants start going downhill. The Chilean Seabass is unfortunately off the menu, that was always my go-to dish. I ordered the miso glazed salmon instead, great flavor but majorly overcooked. Do NOT order the dynamite shrimp, you'll be paying for a lot of breading and no flavor. Decided to take my wife here for lunch after visiting the Ringling Museum. Andrea was are server and was very attentive. I had the Mongolian Beef and my wife had the Combination Lo Mein. As always, the food was good; however, this time seemed a bit lacking in portion sizes of the meat. Pf Chang We visited P.F. Chang's on a Saturday night and the hostess was extremely friendly. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server Jordan quickly afterwards. We told her we had not visited a P.F. Chang's in a while, so she gave us some wonderful recommendations for drinks and appetizers. Her service was exceptional from beginning to end, and she was friendly and extremely attentive. Our drinks, appetizers and dinners were all timed appropriately. I had the red crane sangria, that was a perfect blend of sweet and tart. We started off with the pork handmade dumplings, and Kung Pao dragon rolls. Both were delicious and we would definitely order them again. For dinner, we had the Mongolian beef, which was cooked perfectly, with a rich, delicious soy garlic sauce. We also had Chang's spicy chicken, which had a great amount of heat and sweetness. Pepper steak was also ordered, and it was a bit sweeter overall but still flavorful. We ordered the chicken without glaze from the kids menu, which came with rice, fruit and broccoli. It was basically like sweet and sour chicken pieces, and my 2 year old approved! Everything was bright and presented beautifully with very large portions. We were too full to eat the dessert, but ordered a wall of chocolate just to try it. We have enjoyed other locations of PF Chang's, but this was the first time in Sarasota. It was a dreary, rainy night, so I made an Open Table reservation. I had requested a particular type of table location. We were seated right away and the table was perfect. Our server, Michelle, came by right away to take our drink order, and we also ordered an appetizer. The drinks came out quickly, but we had quite a long wait for the lettuce wraps appetizer. The app finally came out, and we did have time to enjoy it. Our entrees were brought out by another fellow, who was very pleasant and who also refilled our tea. Our server had several other tables nearby, and some larger parties, too, so we saw her whizzing around. The food was good--the Mongolian Beef was tender and the Chicken with Broccoli had a nice ginger flavor. They boxed up our leftovers. We went to celebrate Valentines Day with family and will not rush back. We have been there a number of times but this time did not measure up to the past! No Mai Tai's, don't serve them anymore, lettuce wrap sauce has changed, not for the better, no dinner spoons for the meals to be served, double charged us for rice, and up charged us for mushrooms that we didn't order. The family planned our Sunday Supper tradition today. our grandchildren love the Children's Lo Mein. We planned arriving at 2:00 to take advantage of their Luncheon Special bowl entrees. I called previously to confirm the specials were offered on Sundays. The six of us were seated but were not offered the Luncheon Menu. I asked the greeter for the Luncheon menu. I was informed that it was only offered till 3:00. I told her it was just after 2:00. Wife had Mongolian beef, it was also dried out. like beef jerky. $27 -All food was cold, but that would not explain dried out. We may try again here in the near future, but were not impressed.
